The collet is configured to engage the tubular member, the collet stop is axially movable with respect to the collet between a disengaged position to not engage the collet and an engaged position to engage the collet, and the ring housing is selectively axially movable with respect to the collet. In the disengaged position, the collet is configured to move with respect to the ring housing to engage the ring housing and prevent the collet from disengaging the tubular member when the collet is tensioned with respect to the tubular member. In the engaged position, the collet is configured to remain axially stationary with respect to the ring housing and disengage the tubular member when the collet is tensioned with respect to the tubular member.

The hub includes a main body, a valve, and a luer fitting adapter. The main body, valve, and luer fitting adapter each have an interior passageway to receive and conduct fluid flow when the parts are assembled together. The valve is configured to engage the interior passageway of the main body to block fluid flow when the valve is in a closed position. When the valve is in an open position the valve is moved away from the interior passageway of the main body and fluid flows through the interior passageway of the main body. The luer fitting adapter freely rotates in the valve while the valve is adjusted relative to the main body. Adjustment of fluid flow to the catheter is possible without disturbing connections between parts.

The cylindrical screw is disposed in the flow channel to become a control tube adapted to move toward and away from the valve seat.     Abstract: A water discharge device in the form of a showerhead is disclosed having multiple features including a rotating shutoff valve incorporated in the body of the device. Variable discharge patterns are achieved by rotation of a handle on the side of the device. These patterns include a vibrating spray, a columnar spray pattern and cone shaped spray pattern. All patterns are achieved at low flow rates.
