    Abstract: The Wedge-Lock Safe-T-Puller is a tool that provides a safe and simple way to extract a T-post. The tool uses a captured sliding shackle that travels along a wedge to provide a positive grip between the bumps on a T-post and the Post Alignment Groove on the post side of the Wedge-Lock. Using a lifting shackle or sling attached to the lifting eye at the top of the tool, force is exerted vertically, causing the tool with its wedge to slide up the T-post thereby tightening the sliding shackle against the front of the T-post. This sliding action causes the wedge and sliding shackle to “lock” together to grip the T-post. The greater the force applied, the tighter the wedge and shackle grip. The Wedge-Lock Safe-T-Puller is intended to be operated with mechanical lifting equipment such as a front-end loader, track hoe, backhoe, Skid Steer Loader, etc. The tool may also be used in conjunction with lever and stand type manual or hydraulic extractors.

Wire may be wound onto the wire spool assembly through usage of a winding hydraulic motor which rotates the axle. A post puller assembly is also provided to aid in removing posts from the ground in combination with the wire winder.

The wooden fence post extraction tool includes a threaded rod that screws into an expanding piercing tip. The piercing tip is driven into the hole via a hammer sleeve that is slideable engaged about the threaded rod. The threaded rod is attached to an attachment clip located at a distal end from the piercing tip. The attachment clip secures to a lifting means suspended under a tripod, and which lifts the wooden fence post vertically from the ground.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to an anchorage extractor. The extractor is used to remove post, anchorage or stake from the ground without using a force generated by a motor. The anchorage extractor comprises a base disposed on the ground to provide a stable support. A lever is connected to a driving wheel that is connected to a rack. The anchorage is attached to the rack and when the lever is actuated, the drive wheel drives the rack upward, removing the anchorage from the ground. An advantage of the present invention is that the direction of the extraction force is parallel to the anchorage axis by adjusting the angle of the extractor. The extractor may be folded on itself or dismantled to be transported.

    Abstract: A method of removing a T-type fence post from the earth with a powered, mobile piece of equipment controlled by a human operator includes attaching a substantially flat plate to a lift arm of the powered, mobile piece of equipment such that the plate hangs substantially vertically from the lift arm and can move in an arc, the plate having an opening with a top wall and a bottom wall, moving the powered, mobile piece of equipment in a first direction to pull the plate over the fence post such that an upper portion of the post enters the opening with the bottom and upper walls of the opening engaging the post with sufficient force to retain the post in the opening when the post is pulled from the earth and raising the lift arm to pull the post from the earth in a substantially vertical direction.

    Abstract: A chain and lever post puller system for pulling 2 inch by 4 inch stakes from the ground. The apparatus may also pull round posts or tee-posts with a minimum of effort and with no prior digging. The chain and lever post puller system is a first class lever, requires no heavy equipment or hydraulics, and is easily transportable by hand. The puller comprises a vertical column to which the pivot lever is removably connected via a hinge, which also forms the fulcrum for the pivot lever. A first end of a chain is attached opposite the handle to the end of the pivot lever, and a self-tightening post grip is attached to the second end of the chain. A downward force is applied to the first end of the pivot lever when the post grip is attached to a stake to remove the stake via mechanical advantage.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to an anchorage extractor. The extractor is used to remove post, anchorage or stake from the ground without using a force generated by a motor. The anchorage extractor comprises a base disposed on the ground to provide a stable support. A lever is connected to a driving wheel that is connected to a rack. The anchorage is attached to the rack and when the lever is actuated, the drive wheel drives the rack upward, removing the anchorage from the ground. An advantage of the present invention is that the direction of the extraction force is parallel to the anchorage axis by adjusting the angle of the extractor.
