  • Publication number: 20120126191
Abstract: The present invention provides a fencing system having interconnected tubular elements comprised of longitudinally extending conductor wires and reinforcement wires. Said conductor wires are conventionally disposed in an outer casing's cavity with an open round or rounded section. Said outer casing is formed by a crimping process such that said conductor wires are reinforced by parallelly extending reinforcement wires, the latter wires being disposed in a separate partition of the longitudinal inner volume of said outer casing. Said partition assigned to said reinforcement wires provides that said reinforcement wires does not damage said conductor wires during the final stage of crimping process in which barbed tapes with pointed and/or cutting barbs are transversely folded around the interconnected tubular elements.

  • Patent number: 7880612
Abstract: The invention comprises of a method and alarm device used to prevent metal theft from irrigation systems. The alarm device attaches to a plurality of electric conductor such as copper wiring that is in need of protecting and the preexisting irrigation system circuit. The alarm device detects voltage in the irrigation system circuit and if there is no voltage signals from the irrigation system circuit, then the alarm device automatically breaks the original circuit and inserts itself into the irrigation system circuit. The alarm device then sends a low voltage, low current down the plurality of electric conductors and the plurality of conductors then become part of a circuit that energizes a magnetic switch located in the alarm device. A breach of integrity of the plurality of conductors such as by physical detachment triggers an alarm condition which lead to audio and visual alarms plus activating an automated dialer.

  • Patent number: 5577712
Abstract: A barbed rope or cord that can be carried for quick and easy barbed wire fence repair without the requirement of heavy tools or cutters for installation or cutting is disclosed. The rope or cord is a synthetic material, such as polyester, or a natural material such as cotton or hemp. The barbs are metal or made of other material capable of having sufficiently sharp ends to act as a deterrent against animals pressing against the barbed wire fence. The material from which the rope or cord is made is very flexible to allow the barbed cord to be wound onto itself into a ball or bundle for easy of carrying and storage. In use, a sufficient length of a barbed cord would be unwound from the bundle or ball, easily cut with a knife, and then strung on the fence, with opposite ends of the cut replacement material being easily tied to the fence post or loose ends of the barbed wire being repaired.
