  • Patent number: 9637850
Abstract: A method for spreading a textile sheet where the sheet is caused to run between at least two rotary rollers, the axes of which extend parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the running direction of sheet. The sheet under pressure is caused to pass between at least one pressure generator of the rollers driven into axial oscillation and in phase opposition. At least one pressure generator of the rollers has adjustable pressure values along the generator in order to spread the sheet with a low thickness variability.

  • Patent number: 5893933
Abstract: There is disclosed a device for the continuous fulling of a material web (6) of textile woven fabrics and knitted fabrics with a guiding passage (15) through which the material web (6) can be guided through and accelerated by means of a fluid. At the end of the guiding passage (15), there is provided an impact surface (16, 17), against which the material web (6) can be flung by the fluid. Between the impact surface (16, 17) and the guiding passage (15) there are additionally provided guiding means (26, 26') by means of which the material web (6), which is broadly guided in the guiding passage, can be brought together to a material strand (25) before impinging on the impact surface (16, 17).

  • Patent number: 5274891
Abstract: In a fulling machine for textiles and the like, comprising a pair of draw cylinders (3, 4) between which the textile (T) is made to pass and means of driving said cylinders, said driving means comprise, for each cylinder (3, 4), a motor (13) disposed inside the cylinder itself with the motor drive shaft extending in a direction perpendicular to the cylinder axis of rotation. In this way a substantial reduction in the transverse dimension is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4070738
Abstract: A felting apparatus having an upper and a lower row of driven rollers and including compression beams intermediate any two adjacent rollers in each row whereby the compression beams in one row may be disposed opposite corresponding compression beams or opposite rollers in the other row and define together with the opposing member tapered entry apertures for the material being processed. The compression beams and/or the rollers in both rows may be spring-biased, include heating means and be adapted to be axially reciprocated by driving means.

  • Patent number: 4067211
Abstract: A device for the even, continuous impregnation of textile rope wherein at least two vertically spaced spray tubes spray impregnating liquor onto the rope which then passes to double conical shaped impregnation element disposed below the sprays; transport rollers below the impregnation element convey the rope and underneath the transport rollers, a compression compartment compresses the rope which is then passed in narrow loops around staggered rollers for fulling.
