Abstract: A working pontoon raft has frame that supports a plurality of high speed evaporator fans. An alternative design uses a skid to support the same high speed evaporator fans. An on board pump draws wastewater from under the raft or via a hose from the pond to the skid and feeds it to the fans. Large amounts of wastewater from industrial reservoirs, such as oil drilling reservoirs, are evaporated into the air in an environmentally friendly manner Power is supplied to the raft via hydraulic lines. A land base generator supplies the hydraulic power. The entire system fits on a custom trailer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for forming fog by using at least one air stream connected to a tank where the air stream forms homogeneous droplets of a fluid, which droplets flow further in the air stream towards and through at least one outlet for forming a fog. The scope of the invention is to achieve a highly effective method and apparatus for generating fog with a long stand time having a small energy consumption. This can be achieved by a method and an apparatus as described in the beginning if the method further includes a first high pressure air stream that is lead to flow in a partly parallel direction to a liquid surface for forming at least one liquid sheet, which sheet brakes into droplets where a second air stream having a lower pressure transports the droplets through at least one outlet. Hereby, it is achieved that the liquid sheet moves forward continuously as it breaks up at the edges all the way around.

  • Patent number: 7530553
Abstract: A high-velocity water misting gun with a very high-speed radial inflow hydraulic turbine mounted on the same shaft with an axial flow air compressor wheel compressing air discharged at high velocities through an exhaust air nozzle. A preferred embodiment utilizes a plastic-metal hydraulic turbine wheel in which the plastic portion of the wheel other than blades is solidly anchored within a metal containing wheel. High pressure water drives the hydraulic turbine and provides water lubrication to high-speed bearings supporting a rotating shaft. The preferred embodiment utilizes hybrid bearings (part hydrodynamic, part hydrostatic) suitable for low-viscosity fluids such as water. In the preferred embodiment all of the water discharging from the hydraulic turbine wheel is channeled through a hollow shaft to a set of high-speed, shaft-mounted rotating orifices providing a fine water mist discharging into a high-velocity air flow provided by the axial-flow compressor.

Abstract: This invention provides a fine bubble generating apparatus which can efficiently generate fine bubbles on the nanometer level. This apparatus comprises a cylindrical member (40) having a cylindrical inner peripheral surface, a first end wall member (42) configured to close one end of the cylindrical member, and a second end wall member (44) configured to close the other end of the cylindrical member. The cylindrical member (40) and the first and second end wall members (42) and (44) define a fluid swirling chamber (46). The cylindrical member has a fluid inlet hole (48) at a position close to the second end wall member (44) to supply a gas-liquid mixed fluid in the tangential direction of the peripheral surface of the fluid swirling chamber (46). The second end wall member has a fluid outlet hole (50) extending therethrough along the center axis of the inner peripheral surface of the fluid swirling chamber.

Abstract: A humidifying fan includes a base, a water swinging device and a fan device. The base has a water tank for storing an appropriate amount of water or other liquids, and an atomized water hole. The water swinging device has a power element and a water swinging fan connected with a suction tube extending in the water tank and having slots in its inner wall and plural water exits. When water is sucked up to spray through the exits, it is dispersed by the swinging fan to get atomized. But, a large number of droplets without atomized are to attach on a fur comb set around the swinging fan and then drop in the water tank. The fan device consisting of blades and power element is to blow and spread the atomized water for cooling air.

Abstract: There is disclosed a portable misting fan formed by upper and lower body portions which are joined together along a joint. The joint is improved by providing the lower body portion with a non-circular neck portion along its top end, and wherein the upper body portion includes two halves which terminate in lower body collar sections, intended to be joined together in overlying relationship relative to the neck portion. A rail and groove system is employed as between the upper first and second body portions, and the neck portion, so that the rails will slidingly engage the grooves in the neck portion rendering the joint resistant to rotation. The neck portion includes an aperture into which a sleeve is press fitted, the sleeve includes upper and lower lips, and the lower body collar sections include inwardly extending flanges which overlie and engage the upper and lower lips formed in the sleeve, thereby brace and secure the pump assembly within the device.
