  • Patent number: 9650950
Abstract: A carburetor for a hand-guided power tool has a carburetor housing and a carburetor rotor supported rotatably in the carburetor housing about an axis of rotation. A needle is disposed on the carburetor rotor and projects into a fuel opening of the carburetor. An adjusting element is operatively connected to the needle so as adjust a position of the needle relative to the carburetor rotor. The adjusting element has an engagement contour that is to be engaged by a tool for adjusting the adjusting element. A securing contour that is fixedly connected to the carburetor rotor is provided. The securing contour, at any point of the securing contour, has a spacing to the axis of rotation of at least approximately 10 mm.

  • Patent number: 8833347
Abstract: This invention relates to an automatically regulated gaseous mixer for small universal gas engine comprising a mixer body, a choker, an air inlet port, a main gas passage, a main metering jet, a mixture outlet port, a throttle valve, a gas connecting passage and an auxiliary gas passage, which is characterized in that an auxiliary gas passage is set parallel to the main gas passage and connected through a vertical gas passage. Its top end is linked to the main gas passage and the lower end is connected with the auxiliary gas passage, one end of the auxiliary passage is connected with the mixture outlet port. The shaft of throttle valve is in line with auxiliary gas passage and is extended into the auxiliary gas passage to form an automatically regulated valve. The advantages of this invention are simple and compact; practical and reliable.

  • Publication number: 20130161843
Abstract: A carburettor including a primary air passage, an adjustable throttle valve situated within the primary air passage, a fuel supply nozzle communicating with the primary air passage and connected to a fuel metering valve for varying the amount of fuel discharged through the nozzle and a rotary input shaft adapted to be connected to an engine speed control member and which is connected to the throttle valve to move the throttle valve between open and closed positions. The rotary input shaft is also connected to a carriage to move the carriage, the carriage carrying at least one elongate inclined ramp which extends in the direction of movement of the carriage and which is engaged by a follower connected to the valve member. Rotation of the input shaft results in movement of the throttle valve and in movement of the carriage and thus of the elongate ramp, wherein the follower is moved transverse to the length of the ramp and the valve member of the fuel metering valve is thus also moved.

  • Publication number: 20100176519
Abstract: A carburettor includes a primary air passage (19), an adjustable throttle valve (8) situated within the primary air passage, a fuel supply nozzle (28) communicating with the primary air passage and connected to a fuel metering valve for varying the amount of fuel discharged through the nozzle. The fuel metering valve comprises an elongate sleeve (32) movably accommodating an elongate valve member (33). The sleeve and valve member define a fuel inlet space (35). A fuel inlet (37) communicates with the fuel inlet space. A fuel outlet (39) passes through the wall of the sleeve (32) and communicates with the fuel supply nozzle (28). A portion of the outer surface of the valve member (33) is so profiled that the valve member (33) is movable relative to the sleeve (32) such that the area of communication between the fuel inlet space (35) and the outlet (39) varies progressively between a maximum and a minimum value.

  • Patent number: 7744066
Abstract: A carburetor includes an air inlet with a mechanically adjustable air valve, a mechanically adjustable atomizer discharging in the air inlet, and a mechanical metering device connected with the air valve and the atomizer, maintaining a stoichiometric ratio between amounts of air and fuel. Additionally, the carburetor includes a fuel pressure regulating unit to regulate the fuel pressure of fuel injected in the air inlet, based on one or more dynamic engine load parameters under which a vacuum signal in the air inlet is obtained via a vacuum intake conduit discharging into the air inlet. By regulating the fuel pressure also in dependence of the measured vacuum signal, the emission of unburned fuel is reduced under certain dynamic conditions of the combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20090057930
Abstract: A carburetor of a remote control model has a main body axially bored with an axial hole that is installed with a throttle and a second needle in its one side and provided with a female-threaded section formed at a certain portion of its other side for engaging with a male-threaded section of an adjustment valve. The adjustment valve possesses a fuel entering passage formed axially with a dead end, and an injection nozzle formed at the end corresponding to and for a needle valve of the second needle to move to and fro therein. And, the adjustment valve is directly installed in the axial hole without being accompanied with other components, effective to lower progressive tolerance between the injection nozzle and the needle valve to provide uniform fuel injection.
