Float Control Patents (Class 261/64.5)
  • Patent number: 9409758
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing carbonated water through a typical kitchen faucet. The faucet-integrated carbonation system can include a carbonated water reservoir coupled to a residential or commercial cold water supply line as well as a CO2 tank, all of which can be mounted under a kitchen countertop or the like. The water held in the reservoir can be carbonated using the CO2 when a user activates a CO2 activation mechanism. The system can further include a carbonated water on/off valve for dispensing carbonated water from the carbonated water reservoir via a waterway with an outlet disposed at the end of the faucet.

  • Patent number: 8196902
Abstract: Described herein are methods and apparatuses for providing multiple air fragrances. In one embodiment, a multi-air fragrance system for use in a vehicle includes an air fragrance block having a plurality of cartridges for storing a plurality of fragrances and a control unit that is coupled to the air fragrance block. The control unit controls a selection of one fragrance to be distributed within an interior of the vehicle. The control unit also controls an intensity of the selected fragrance to be distributed within the interior of the vehicle. In another embodiment, a portable multi-air fragrance system provides multiple air fragrances. A control unit controls a selection and intensity of a fragrance to be distributed by the portable system.

  • Patent number: 7950630
Abstract: This invention relates to a gas-liquid mixing device, forming a safety valve, designed capable of being incorporated into a gas-cleaning installation including a liquid tank (4), an inlet (1) for gas to be cleaned and an outlet (7) through which the gas flow is evacuated. It is characterized in that it has: a tube (2) sliding around the gas inlet (1) and including a peripheral float (8) located in its lower end and designed capable of floating in said tank (4), said sliding tube (2) being open in its lower portion, in order to draw liquid from said tank (4) by a venturi effect and to create a mist in a pressure-relief zone (5); a mixing chamber (6) interposed between said sliding tube (2) and said outlet (7), and designed capable of conveying the flow of said mist towards the bottom of said tank (4).

Abstract: An ecological/fuel optimization device for internal combustion engines is provided, which increases a mass of moist air entering the engine by vacuum suction or normal aspiration. The device includes a container having a first compartment, including a room air inlet and an outlet for a mass of moist air. The room air inlet is connected to a central top portion of a buoy by a flexible pipe, the buoy including an air passage orifice, which carries air entering through the flexible pipe towards a fluid column under the buoy; and a counterweight, the first compartment also including a guide and a closing element arranged on the central bottom portion of the first compartment. A second compartment surrounds the first compartment, in fluid communication with the first compartment at its bottom. The height of the second compartment is equal to the height difference between the first compartment and the buoy.

  • Patent number: 7632399
Abstract: A fluid treatment system, includes a pressurizable tank, a compressed air source, and a float disposed inside the tank, the float rising or falling in response to a level of fluid in the tank; and a float-actuated switch assembly connected to the float. The float-actuated switch assembly starts introduction of compressed air into the tank from the compressed air source. A purge valve may be provided to allow fluid to flow out of the tank during the introduction of compressed air into the tank. The float-actuated switch assembly may include a magnetic switch.
