Patent number: 11951766Abstract: Disclosed is an equal divider, including a mainframe and a plurality of indicator plates, wherein the mainframe is mainly made up of a plurality of first connecting rods and a plurality of second connecting rods pivoted by a plurality of pivoting structures to form a scissor structure. The mainframe is formed with a plurality of first pivoting parts and a plurality of second pivoting parts. The first pivoting parts and the second pivoting parts pivot the first connecting rods and the second connecting rods. The indicator plate is configured between the first connecting rod and the second connecting rod. The indicator plate is configured with a protruding indicating part. Each indicator plate is configured with a long through groove. The second pivoting part goes through the through groove. The indicating parts and the first pivoting parts maintain a fixed distance along the second axial direction.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Inventor: Tai-Yu Lee

Patent number: 11702327Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is taught herein a family of “branched” variants of the traditional scissor mechanism, in which each stage is formed from more than two arms, joined at their midpoints by a branched rivet. In one embodiment arms in adjacent stages are joined at their endpoints with joints that allow for rotation in a single plane. Each resulting mechanism has one degree of freedom in its motion. It deploys from a compact, collapsed state to an extended state. One embodiment is a grasping member that is mechanically coupled to a scissor mechanism so that when scissor mechanism is collapsed the grasping member is open. Then, when the scissor mechanism is extended the grasping member becomes closed.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2019Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: The Board of Regents for Oklahoma State UniversityInventors: Henry Segerman, William Segerman

Patent number: 5655209Abstract: Process for producing multilayer ceramic substrates using greensheet technology and thin dielectric ceramic greensheets for miniaturization purposes. The process avoids the screening of the thin greensheets by forming self-supporting fusible particulate metal electrode layers, interposing them with the thin greensheets and sintering the assembly to form the multilayer substrates such as integrated capacitors.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1995Date of Patent: August 5, 1997Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Jon Alfred Casey, John Paul Gauci, Dinesh Gupta, Robert Anthony Rita, Robert J. Patent number: 4205828Abstract: The torch of a machine for progressive contour bevel cutting of flat plates is mounted for controlled positioning and movement on an arcuate sector, the radius of which has a center lying in the horizontal plane of the plate. The torch is mounted for movement between adjustable stops which delineate two torch angles for cutting. A device is provided for substantially instantaneously moving the torch along the sector from adjacent one stop to the other stop. In the embodiment disclosed herein, the said device comprises a fluid-operated piston connected to the torch.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 1978Date of Patent: June 3, 1980Assignee: C-R-O, Inc.Inventors: Harry Hooper, Fred Balfanz
