Abstract: A fixture for holding a part comprises a frame supporting a guide plate. A controlled engagement device passes through the guide plate and is arranged to be advanced incrementally towards a first end of a fulcrum beam. A second end of the fulcrum beam is connected to a linkage arm, the linkage arm passing through a gap in the guide plate. An end of the linkage arm distal to the fulcrum beam has a swivel clamp mounted thereto. A support is arranged to face the swivel clamp and defines a space there between, the space being configured to receive a part to be clamped in the fixture.
Abstract: A removal device for a belt pulley contains: a guiding rod, two clamping members, and two paws. The guiding rod includes a screwing hole defined on a central position thereof to screw with a push rod. The two clamping members slide along the guiding rod, and each clamping member includes a guide orifice for inserting the guiding rod, a first guide rail, and a first engaging portion, wherein a first direction of the first guide rail is perpendicular to a second direction of the screwing hole. Each paw includes a second guide rail for matching with the first guide rail, such that each of the two paws is connected with or removed from each of the two clamping members, wherein the second guide rail has a second engaging portion for cooperating with the first engaging portion.
Abstract: A lever-operated clamp having a base, a clamp arm pivotally mounted to the base, and a lever which, upon pivoting, moves the clamp arm in a clamping direction of movement. An internally threaded bolt retainer is mounted to the clamp arm and threadably receives a bolt so that the rotational position of the bolt relative to the bolt retainer varies the position of the bolt relative to the clamp arm. A jam nut or internally threaded knob locks the bolt at its adjusted position.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing gypsum board. The method includes the steps of mixing a predetermined amount of fibers, absorbent, and water to form a mixture of wetted, loose fibers, mixing the wetted fibers with predetermined amount of dry calcined gypsum, forming the mixture into a matt having a substantially uniform consistency and compressing the matt to form a board composed of bonded fibers and gypsum. The resulting board has a smooth exterior and can be a homogeneous or a multilayer board.

Abstract: A utility pole repairing apparatus having a first and second rigid elongated member with an adjusting mechanism attached therebetween for selectively adjusting the distance between the first and second rigid elongated members. A holding structure is operatively attached to the first and second members for selectively holding the first and second members up against a utility pole in such a way that it can be so positioned by one person. Third and fourth rigid, elongated members also are provided and have a second adjusting mechanism attached therebetween for selectively adjusting the distance between the third and fourth rigid, elongated members.
