    Abstract: The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The stop assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.

The contact part contacts the outside of the extending part when the unlocking operating piece is pressed, the locking claw part of the elastic locking piece is ejected from the indented part of the sawtooth-form part by the contact, and the locked state between the sawtooth-form part and the locking claw part is unlocked.

    Abstract: An extension fixture for combining the clamping capacity of a first and a second bar I-beam cross section bar clamp. The first and second bar clamps each have a fixed jaw, a movable jaw, and a primary bar. The movable jaw of each bar clamp has a clamping means configured to provide a clamping force in the direction of the fixed jaw. To use the bar clamps with the extension fixture, the movable jaw is removed from the first bar clamp, and the movable jaw orientation on the second bar clamp is reversed so that the clamping means is then configured to provide a clamping force away form the second fixed jaw. The first and second primary bars are then inserted into the extension fixture, and pinned and clamped in position. The assembly then forms a combined capacity bar clamp.

A movable jaw is supported on said sleeve at a selected one of plural mounting locations spaced along the length of the sleeve, each defined by a transverse pin extending through the sleeve. Once the fixed jaw has been advanced by hand toward the movable jaw sufficiently to clamp the work-piece, the sleeve and slide bar are releasably locked together by a pawl and ratchet mechanism. The clamping pressure is increased over that provided by hand by a screw mechanism associated with the fixed jaw.

    Abstract: A hand-held press is provided for installing fasteners in a sheet of fabric. The press has a frame with a pair of arms forming a C-shaped recess into which the fabric may be inserted. The frame has a handle extending outwardly from a press axis with a lever pivotally attached to the frame adjacent the handle enabling a user to squeeze the handle and lever together. A shaft is oriented along the press axis and slidably cooperates with the frame. An advance sear on the shaft is engaged by the lever to cause the shaft to incrementally advance when the lever is squeezed with the handle. A retract sear cooperates with the shaft and the frame to prevent the shaft from retracting. A pair of die elements attached to the frame and the shaft facilitate the installation of fasteners in a sheet of fabric.
