  • Patent number: 11253975
Abstract: A clamp has: a clamping set and a positioning set. The clamping set has a shaft pivotally connected to a first arm and a second arm, and the shaft is provided with an elastic member. The first arm and the second arm are kept open by the elastic member, and the first and second arms are extended downward with a first handle and a second handle. The first handle is provided with a first pin, and the second handle is provided with a second pin. The positioning set is pivoted on a middle section of the first and second handles with the first and second pins. The positioning set is approximately horizontal, and travel distance of the shaft is greatly reduced, which not only reduces the structural cost, but also effectively improves the smoothness of the shaft movement.

Abstract: A lock pin assembly used for clamping two plates together, that have aligning bores for receiving the lock pin assembly. The lock pin assembly includes radially extending pins that can be forced outwardly from the center of a lock pin housing forming a part of the lock pin assembly. The actuator pins are forced outwardly and cooperate with a tapered surface on a bottom plate to create a clamping force relative to an end of the lock pin housing supportable on a top plate. The lock pin housing has cam tracks on an outer side thereof, and an actuator ring surrounds and supports the pin and carries cam followers sliding in the cam tracks. The cam tracks are made such that relative rotation of the lock pin housing and the actuator ring changes the axial location of the actuator ring along the housing.

  • Patent number: 8646738
Abstract: The invention relates to a device comprising a base plate and a support for adjusting the height of an assembly, in particular of a galley module in an aircraft, without using tools. According to the invention, two opposing wedge bodies are arranged such that they can be displaced horizontally between the base plate and the support, the oppositely directed manual displacement of the two wedge bodies, when the lock levers have been raised, causes in the “adjusting position” a raising or lowering of the support for the height adjustment. The assembly is connected to the support, for example by a conventional screw connection through the attachment hole in the support. The device according to the invention allows a user to perform a simple and rapid height adjustment of an assembly arranged thereon, thereby greatly reducing the assembly effort required for prefabricated assemblies or modules in aircraft.

A panel material is supported on a workpiece supporting face and is positioned by a locating pin being fitted into a positioning hole. A clamp arm is accommodated in a slit formed in the locating pin, and the panel material is clamped by the clamp arm. The clamp arm is coupled to a driven rod, and the driven rod is coupled to a driving rod via a compression coil spring. A cam face is formed in a cam block assembled reciprocably in a gear box, and an engagement cam contacting with the cam face is attached to the driving rod. The cam block is reciprocated by an electric motor via a reduction gear mechanism.

Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine (1) comprising a housing (2) having at least one opening (4) into its inside, which is preferably the engine-oil feed inlet, and with a camshaft (5), mounted inside the housing for rotation about its geometric shaft. The camshaft (5) and the housing (2) have means cooperating with each other and with a device for locking a turnable shaft (6) with respect to the housing, insertable through this opening. In a second embodiment of the present invention, the device consists of a rod (6), the cooperating means in the housing consist in a bore (7) for receiving an end of the rod (6), and the cooperating means on the cam shaft consist of a notch (9) made in the surface of the shaft, which cooperates with the rod. In this way, when there is a need to adjust, repair and/or replace engine (1) components, the rod (6) is inserted through the opening (4) and locked in this bore (7) of the housing (2).

Abstract: A clamping and locating fixture includes a hollow body, a pin or angled plate mountable to the body, a locking arm positionable within the body locatable between two positions and a drive pin moveable within the body to engage the locking arm. A workpiece can be directed to a clamping position by the guide pin or angled plate. The pin or plate includes an aperture allowing a locking projection of the locking arm to extend therethrough and over a workpiece to clamp the workpiece for a processing operation. The locking projection can be retracted through the aperture while the workpiece is being located or is being removed. The drive pin can be moved within the body to engage a cam follower of the locking arm.

Abstract: The invention allows an amount by which restricting members should be moved to be grasped accurately and easily, prohibits movement of the restricting members in time of fastening the restricting members, and allows positions of the restricting members to be adjusted accurately and just by a necessary amount. A set screw is meshed with a boss of a retaining member through an eccentric cam mounted in a cam guide formed in an upper surface of a main body, the eccentric cam being supported to have an axis of rotation aligned to an axis of rotation of a pinion. A rotation of the eccentric cam varies positions of contact between peripheral surface of the eccentric cam and side surfaces of the cam guide to vary a distance from the positions of contact to the center of rotation of the eccentric cam.
