Ball Games Patents (Class 273/118R)
  • Patent number: 4094508
Abstract: A combination pipe and game is disclosed. The pipe includes a base on which is mounted a transparent tube which may be in an aesthetically pleasing coiled shape. A mouth piece is attached to the ends of the tube. A pipe bowl is positioned along the tube and is in communication with the interior of the tube. A lightweight ball can move about within the tube. The object of the game is for the smoker to draw smoke through the tube advancing the ball to a predetermined position within the tube. In another embodiment, the device is adapted for use by two or more smokers by expedient of inserting a fitting having an appropriate number of outlets, smoking tubes being connectable to each of the outlets.

  • Patent number: 4056268
Abstract: A conventional motorcycle modified by a center lever steering control that is slidable in longitudinal extension and rotatable about the axis of slide at the extremities of slide but not therebetween, and is pivotable vertically around a pivotal connection to a center steering unit in place of conventional handlebars. Handlebar controls are attached for foot control. Resilient knee rolls are fixed to a gas tank above the knees of a rider to prevent slipping from motorcycle when rising from seating position to strike a ball. An upwardly extending hand loop fixed above a gas tank and knee rolls ensures that leaning outwardly does not change direction of travel by inadvertent movement of the steering control. Wider tires than in road riding and disc wheels are respectively recommended for improved traction and the abolition of chance of catching a mallet in a spoked wheel.

  • Patent number: 4033585
Abstract: The present invention relates to a game and gameboard apparatus wherein the game is played by directing a marble or similar projectile across a gameboard in a generally straight line path and wherein one or more players stationed along the gameboard attempt to strike and intercept the marble (target projectile) as the same moves across the playing board. To provide for the opportunity of interception, the gameboard of the preferred embodiment comprises a series of longitudinally spaced shooting or intercepting stations with a respective player stationed at each station. In a typical type of game, the respective players stationed along the gameboard attempt to intercept a passing target projectile as the same moves along a normal straight line course across the board.

  • Patent number: 3941387
Abstract: The game includes a replica of a race course which is divided into a sequence of stations and the players take turns to advance distinctively colored markers or playing pieces along the race course. To determine the number of stations through which a player in his turn advances his marker, the player manually imparts impetus to a metal ball which causes the ball to traverse a straight track that has resilient bumpers at its two opposite ends. The ball recoils from at least one of the bumpers and comes to rest at one of a plurality of sections of the track which indicate the number of stations the player is to advance his marker on the course.
