Having Indicator Or Indication By Movement Of Target Patents (Class 273/333)
  • Patent number: 9931575
Abstract: In order to achieve the object, disclosed is a dart game apparatus for recording a moving picture of a part during a dart game. The dart game apparatus includes: a camera unit for recording the dart game; a touch unit for sensing that a dart game player is ready for throwing a dart; and a controller for controlling the camera unit, wherein the controller allows the camera unit to start recording at the time when the touch unit senses that the dart game player is ready for throwing the dart. An object of the present invention is to store or transmit only small-capacity data by recording only a part of a dart game or selecting and storing or transmitting only a part of an image of an entire dart game to reduce a burden in storing and transmitting data and remarkably reduce a time for verifying the data.

Abstract: A game device has a target plate fixed to the waist area of a person who will play the game, and a ball is tethered to the target plate. The tether is flexible to allow the ball to engage a target on the target plate. To facilitate control of the ball on the tether, the tether has a rigid rod flexibly fixed to the bottom of the target plate, and a flexible string extending from the rod to the ball. There are sights between the targets on the target plate. By swinging the tethered ball with the tether aligned with a sight, the player can align the ball to be received by a target. Baskets in the targets catch the ball, so the ball can be easily removed from the target. Electronic play instructions, electronically directed game play, electronic scorekeeping means, and electronically directed alternative player goals are provided.

Abstract: A dartboard assembly includes a housing that has a front wall, a rear wall and a perimeter wall attached to and extending between the front and rear walls. A dartboard is mounted on the front wall. A support apparatus is attached to the housing. A game camera is mounted on the support apparatus and is directed toward the dartboard when the support apparatus is in a deployed position. A player camera is mounted to the support apparatus and is directed away from the dartboard and toward any player throwing darts at the dartboard. A data port is mounted on the housing and is electrically coupled to each of the game and player cameras. The data port is connectable to a computer network to allow other persons to remotely view the game and player cameras.

  • Patent number: 8021220
Abstract: A shooting game apparatus includes an LCD for displaying a target and an operating button for a player to perform an operation for shooting the target. For example, an enemy character is switched between an ineffective state in which it is never damaged even if an attack hits it, and an effective state in which it is damaged if an attack hits it. Different images are displayed depending on whether the target is in the ineffective state or in the effective state. In a case where the target is in the effective state, when a player character enters into a state of being continuously damaged because it is positioned an area where it receives continuous damage, for example, the target is switched into the ineffective state.

  • Patent number: 7909329
Abstract: A slingshot-like skill game device comprises a body and a handle attached to the body. The body includes an opening designed to permit a ball to pass therethrough. When the slingshot-like skill game device is outfitted with a ball attached thereto by an elongated elastic cord, a user may grasp the handle with one hand, grasp the ball with another hand, pull the ball away from the body, and then release the ball with the object of getting the ball to pass through the opening on release. A ring-shaped insert may be attached to the opening, so as to decrease the diameter of the opening and thereby increase the level of difficulty required for a user of the slingshot-like skill game device to get the ball to pass through the opening. Additional ring-shaped inserts of varying diameters may also be provided to further increase the level of difficulty for a user of the slingshot-like skill game device. The body may include one or more light sources that may be activated when a ball passes through the opening.

  • Patent number: 7038764
Abstract: This invention is an apparatus and method for determining the velocity of a projectile. A light curtain unit (20) creates two light curtains (46)(48) and two sensing planes (50)(52). The projectile causes light from the light curtain (46)(48) to be reflected into the detectors (22a) and (24a) of the sensing planes (50)(52). The time for a projectile to pass through one sensing plane to the other is measured and calculated for display by the Display Unit (10).

  • Patent number: 6556204
Abstract: An image processor is composed of a game device body, an operation panel and a display. The game device body is composed of a data processor 12 and a memory 12. The data processor realizes a hit determining circuit 112, an enemy control circuit 112, an enemy (object) set circuit 114, a cursor control circuit 114, an enemy retrieval circuit 116 and a camera control circuit 116 in accordance with corresponding programs used. When an object is displayed on the display, the cursor control circuit displays a cursor in accordance with predetermined processing performed on the basis of data on the coordinates of the object. The camera control circuit 116 performs a zoom-in display process for the object when the object is displayed on the display.

  • Patent number: 5470078
Abstract: A computer controlled target shooting system having a plurality of clay bird throwers which can be positioned at substantial distances and angles of throw from one another, preferably to throw clay birds in a safe direction for shooter(s) to engage. The throwers include a device for mechanical activation (electrical, air, hydraulic, etc.) and allow for varying horizontal and vertical angle of clay bird projection (flight). The plurality of clay bird throwers are interfaced to a microprocessor. The shooter can specify levels of difficulty which will set levels of time delays and difficulty of randomness between clay birds thrown. These shooter specified levels include two clay birds thrown at the same time (doubles) and extended time delay to allow for reloading of double barrel shotgun (double barrel).

  • Patent number: 4934712
Abstract: A weighted object is attached to a tether and the tether is twisted to cause the weighted object to spin and to change in vertical position. The apparatus which causes the tether to twist can also orbit through a path to cause horizontal motion of the weighted object thereby providing three-dimensional movement to the weighted object. Movable objects are provided as targets for the weighted object with points being given for producing interaction between the weighted object and the movable objects. Also, due to the resonance properties of the tether, many different sculptural forms within the harmonies can be created. By stroboscopically illuminating the tether, further visual forms can be observed. By pulsating the lights on the weight many visual effects can be produced along with altering the tether to produce special effects for film.

  • Patent number: 4861035
Abstract: Golf practice apparatus is described in which a tethered ball is suspended below a support portion. This may be a right-angled stake or a vertical wood portion on a flat wooden base portion. Two electrical contact members are mounted above the golf ball so that when the golf ball is struck by a player, if the ball is hit squarely it will strike one of the contact members so that it makes contact with the other member. An electrical circuit is thus completed to activate a buzzer or a visual indication. If the ball is not hit squarely, then no indication is given.
