  • Patent number: 10612895
Abstract: A design for a shooting range with tapered shooting lanes or zones is disclosed. The shooting lanes are wider at the position of the shooter than they are at the end of the range, thereby resulting in a design that is cheaper to build and easier to maintain. The tapering of the lanes can be in the horizontal or vertical directions (or both). This design can be used in indoor or outdoor ranges, with firearms, bows, crossbows, air rifles, air softs, and other types of projectiles that are fired, shot, or launched.

  • Patent number: 5669607
Abstract: A game of skill involves a housing made to resemble an old-style cash register. When the game is played, a motor causes oscillation of the cash drawer in and out while the player shoots coin-like disks toward the drawer attempting to land the coins within compartments within the drawer. Each compartment corresponds to a point score that is displayed on a display on the simulated cash register. Each time the game is played, the player is given a pre-set number of coin-like disks.

  • Patent number: 5344156
Abstract: An action game comprising a reservoir capable of holding a quantity of a material such as a liquid therein. A member for propelling a projectile, such as a catapult, is fixedly secured or swivably connected adjacent the reservoir, preferably one catapult or member being located at each end of the reservoir. One or more players directs a plurality of the projectiles using the catapult to a floatable object (e.g., boat-shaped) which floats on the material within the reservoir to try to sink the object in a competitive fashion. The floatable object includes a compartment to hold projectiles, so that the object can be submerged (i.e., sunk) in the material when a sufficient number of the projectiles is contained in the compartment. Each player can try to sink his or her opponent's floating object before his or her own floating object is sunk, or each player can compete by themselves against the clock.

  • Patent number: 4875459
Abstract: A Gattling-like gun provides for manual control of the rate of firing of projectiles in the form of balls. The balls are fed through two successive nip regions formed by pinch rollers. The first is manually controlled by a crank to vary the rate of firing. Balls delivered from the first nip region are fired at high speed by a fast rotating, fixed speed second pinch roller. The gun fires balls at round targets supported on rotating carousels. Dislodged targets roll to the front of an enclosure for dispensing to the player. The balls are separated and fed by an Archimides' spiral to a feed tube connected to the gun.

  • Patent number: 4754980
Abstract: A game apparatus consisting of a housing, the interior of the housing has electrical wiring and a power switch including a switching means, for starting and stopping a toy motor. The motor being coupled to spin a multi-disk assembly. The disks are divided into sectors and each sector as a symbol marking printed thereon. When the switching means causes the motor to spin, the disks free-spin around the motor shaft. When the switching means disconnect the motor from the electrical power source, the disks coast to a stop. An indicating means designates two random symbols in alignment. The random symbol generator in conjunction with a multiplication type game board is used as a "non-problem solving" educational game.In an another embodiment, the random symbol generator is used in conjunction with a marble operated switching means, wherein a marble is aimed at a target opening, its entrance into the target opening closes the switching means, thereby causing the multi-disk symbol generator to spin.

  • Patent number: 4248436
Abstract: An amusement device has a supporting base with a central division wall. The division wall has an opening therein over which a simulated aircraft with bomb bay door or the like is disposed, and a housing is positioned behind the opening. A bubble pipe is disposed behind the simulated aircraft with its bowl inverted so that bubbles emitted therefrom appear to originate in the aircraft bomb bay. A tube is connected operatively to the bubble pipe, and has an end extending to the operators' position on the supporting base. At such position, a water pistol is mounted on a bracket, so that a water stream directed therefrom may be employed to attempt to strike the bubble. A catch is positioned on the supporting base below the opening and within the housing wherein expended fluid is collected for disposal or for re-use.
