  • Patent number: 5143449
Abstract: The invention relates to a fibrous product mixing truck having a mixing container (2) with one or more vertical scrolls welded onto corresponding rotating shafts. The container is mounted on a wheeled frame through the interposition of weighing cells (3). A frame (10) of metallic tubes with a substantially quadrangular shape is welded to the container for movably supporting an unloading belt (11) facing an unloading door (7) of the container and movable from a position which is substantially internal to the truck to a position which considerably protrudes therefrom. The frame is rigidly associated with a ladder (14) upwardly connected to an inspection platform (15) and is separated from the container.

  • Patent number: 5120070
Abstract: The adjustable windmobile allows the mobilist to maintain a stable center of gravity by manually adjusting both the seat and mast to their respective opposite sides when the direction of motion of the windmobile is reversed. Both the seat and mast base are encased in crosspieces, that are part of the frame, that allow the seat and mast to be slid to the opposite sides. There are four mast halyards, a fore halyard, a stern halyard, and two midships halyards. Under sail only three halyards are taut while the fourth, a midships halyard hangs loose. When readjusting the mast to the other side, the halyards do not have to be readjusted.

  • Patent number: 4971341
Abstract: A U-shaped frame has opposite pivoted jaws adapted to move to and from a position closing the frame gap. A releasable locking member is pivoted to the frame in half-bearings, and is held in place by a cover plate that similarly retains the journals of an actuator plate responsible for closing the jaws around an entered wheel. The locking member is rotated out of locking position by forces on a handle that cause the chair to be pushed out of the retainer coupling. Placement of the locking member in the release position causes warning projections to appear above the housing, and these retract into the housing when the unit is in locked condition.

  • Patent number: 4966376
Abstract: Device for detecting clearance in the wheel suspension of a vehicle, comprising a frame, two wheel support plates mounted on said frame for rotation and movable during operation substantially in a horizontal plane, and drive means for moving said wheel support plates in opposing directions relative to one another over limited distances. The wheel plates are each mounted for rotation about a vertical axis and for lengthwise movement transversely of an imaginary connecting line between the two plates and that the drive means can cause these turning and lengthwise movements to occur independently of one another and either separately or simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4943256
Abstract: An amusement device consisting of a base frame having a first and second end. A pair of ratchet wheel assemblies mounted to an supporting the second end of the base frame. A motor is mounted within the base frame. A cam is rotatably driven by the motor. A yoke assembly having a first and second end in which the second end of the yoke assembly is oscillatorially activated by the cam to cause the first end of the yoke assembly to oscillate relative to the first end of the base frame. A pair of ratchet wheel assemblies are mounted at the first end of the yoke assembly such that when the first end of the yoke assembly oscillates, the ratchet wheels rotate.

  • Patent number: 4548418
Abstract: A trailer support stand. The stand includes a base having a plurality of peripheral edges. A series of legs extend upwardly from the base and are connected at their upper ends to a generally flat plate. A ball is mounted in spaced relation above the plate and the peripheral edge of the plate extends radially beyond the outer diameter of the ball. A conventional socket coupling member on the trailer tongue is adapted to be engaged with the ball to thereby support the trailer tongue at trailer hitch height. The stand is non-tipping and when the trailer coupling is locked to the ball, the trailer is theft proof.

  • Patent number: 4541750
Abstract: An apparatus for accommodating and avoiding the interference of a column in line with an end of a spreader which applies particulate material to the surface of freshly-poured concrete. The apparatus includes an assembly for attachment to the column for supporting an end of the surface spreader. The column assembly has a horizontal shelf and a device to affix the shelf to the column at a predetermined elevation in registration with the end of the surface spreader. A ski is mounted at the end of the surface spreader and is shaped to engage the shelf and support the end of the surface spreader on the shelf. The ski is maintained at approximately the same elevation as the shelf to readily permit the ski to be moved onto the shelf for support of the end of the surface spreader.

  • Patent number: 4540312
Abstract: A material spreader system is designed to dispense a topping material onto the surface of a plastic substance lying within an area having a length, width and opposing sides. The material spreader system also includes features which enable it to dispense topping material within an area including a vertically extending obstruction positioned adjacent one of the sides of the area and extending a predetermined distance into the area. The obstruction defines a reduced width section of the area. The material spreader system includes a spreader for storing a supply of topping material and for dispensing a layer of the topping material as the spreader is translated along a path. An adjustable bridge provides an elevated path to permit widthwise translation of the spreader across the area. The normal bridge span has a length equal to or greater than the full width of the area.
