Abstract: An improved structure for book cover includes a cover layer, a left positioning plate and a right positioning plate, wherein the left and the right positioning plates are disposed above the cover layer and the edges of the cover layer can be folded inwardly for being adhered or stitched at the edges of the left and the right positioning plates, and the left and the right positioning plates respectively have a protruded left binding portion and a protruded right binding portion which both have plural holes corresponding to each other for fixing loose leaf papers between the left and the right positioning plates directly by a spiral so as to form a book. Through the improved structure of book cover in the present invention, the manufacturing process can be simplified and the cost of labor and material can be saved.
Abstract: On the one surface of a back plate suited to a length-and-width size of a ring binder, hooks serving as an engaging means are formed. The back plate is fixed to the spine surface of the file cover. When the ring binder is pressed against the back plate, the hooks are engaged with the ring binder so that the file cover is mounted on a booklet bound with the ring binder.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a repetitive language kit combined with a series of early reading experiences that facilitate the teaching of reading to pre-readers. The kit is comprised of an assembly of pages that present a photographic site for receiving a personalized photograph and a text site for receiving repetitive and personalized text relating to the photograph as part of a theme. A binder secures the pages between front and back covers and provides movement of the pages through an arc. Cards having repetitive text corresponding to the repetitive text of the pages reinforce and further the reading skills of the pre-reader. The process for creating the book comprises memorializing an experience between a person and pre-reader through photographs, affixing the photographs to the pages of the kit, compiling the pages into a bound book and reading the book to the pre-reader who memorizes and play reads along.
Abstract: An attachment for a standard book may allow a reader to read to a group of listeners with reduced movements of the standard book. The attachment may slide over and couple to a cover of a standard book The attachment may have pockets or other attachment means that are coupled to the front and/or back cover of the book The pages of the attachment may have text and/or illustrations that substantially correspond to the text and/or illustrations found in the standard book The pages of the attachment may be connected to the attachment means with a spiral or other type of binding. The reader preferably flips pages in the attachment such that the pages in the attachment correspond to pages in the book that are being read. A method of interactive reading can use interactive prompts, suggested activities, and/or additional text for encouraging the reader to involve the listeners.
Abstract: An organizational device devised for the wrapping of articles. The device includes an elongate continuous elastic loop fabric strap. A hook fastener is imported at one end of the strap. The hook fastener is attachable to the strap at any location therealong. Once attached the strap forms a wrap about the articles. The strap may also include useful information, logos and the like thereon.
Abstract: A cord lock device for releasably securing a hinged object in a closed position includes a first cord loop projecting from a first side of a hinged object and a second cord loop projecting from a second side of a hinged object, the first and second cord loops projecting generally towards one another. The second cord loop includes an engagement loop section temporarily formed therein, the engagement loop section being extended through the first side of a hinged object adjacent one end of the first cord loop. The engagement loop section engages one end of the first cord loop, the one end of the first cord loop passing through the engagement loop section such that the first cord loop is intertwined with the second cord loop and thus the first and second cord loops cooperate to generally prevent access to the interior of a hinged object on which the first and second cord loops are mounted.
