The front cover is constructed to present a picture frame comprising an outer frame assembly having a mat sheet provided with a plurality of various sized openings therein. The frame assembly frames a plurality of photographs and each opening in the mat individually frames each photograph.

Abstract: This specification discloses a folder suitable, for example, as a bank passbook for the retention or protection of sheets of paper or other like material comprising a pair of spaced post portions of snap fasteners near a fold line in the folder and attached to and projecting from one side of the folder and adapted to pass through holes in the sheets of paper, a pair of spaced cap portions of the snap fasteners adapted to cooperate with said post portions and removable to permit removal or insertion of sheets of paper from said folder, and a sheet of resilient, flexible plastic or like material affixed to and projecting from said folder at or about the fold line with one hole in register with each post portion and adapted to retain the sheets of paper loosely in position on the post portions when the cap portions are removed from the post portions.

Abstract: A keepsake album has a frame assembly imbedded in its padded front cover for displaying a personalizing photograph in recessed relation to the outer-surface of the cover. A photograph-receiving tray which forms a part of the frame assembly is disposed within a complementally configured blind opening in the cover and is solidly undersupported by the exposed rigid backing member of the cover along the bottom of the blind opening. The tray is adapted to releasably retain a decorative frame in abutment with the outer surface of the cover for holding the desired photograph in a displayed position on the cover.

The invention includes a novel method for manufacture of the product, whereby wastage of material is eliminated, together with a corresponding saving in labor. The construction may be incorporated into albums already existing.

Abstract: A diary and reporting device for use particularly in surveys and researches where each member of a continuing panel reports activities, purchases, opinions or the like during repetitive unit periods of time has a folder with top and bottom covers hinged together. When opened flat an information entry sheet composed of a general data section or zone and an item data zone is exposed. The item data zone is keyed or indexed to data entry guide book pages for instructions as to what data to enter for each type of item reported. An entry index facilitates use of the guide book. All components of the folder are removable and/or replaceable, as by means of tabs or edges on each item engaging cooperating slots or pockets in the folder cover, to facilitate regular reporting and periodic changes in the survey information to be gathered.

Abstract: The specification discloses an airline travel ticket and information folder for use by an airline passenger. The folder includes a pocket portion formed by a pair of flexible paper sheets to enable the insertion of tickets and boarding passes therein. A first fold panel is integrally joined by a first fold to one edge of the pocket portion. A plurality of additional fold panels are integrally joined together by folds to the first fold panel. On the front of the fold panels, indicia provides travel information related to the destination of the airplane. On the back of the fold panels, advertisements are displayed which are related to the indicia formed on adjacent fold panels. A map of the city of destination is provided on at least one of the fold panels and is color coded relative to certain of the travel information contained on the fold panels. The fold panels are constructed to be folded together beneath the pocket portion to form a compact folder for the airline passenger.

Abstract: In a marking apparatus and method for books, double sided tabs have adhesive so that the tabs may be adhered to pages of books, with a number-bearing portion of the tab extending from the page. Adhesive occupies one-half of one side of the tab, and numbers are written in opposite directions on opposite sides of the tab so that the tab may be affixed to a left or right page of a book to clearly mark the page and the point on the page to which it refers. Learning key cards have numbers corresponding to the tabs. Brief notes are written on the lines, and the cards are attached to the front leaf of a book. The tabs are attached directly to the learning key, or they are attached on the inside of a cover or opposite leaf of the book. An envelope or jacket-type holder is adhesive-backed for fastening to an inside of the book, and the tabs are mounted on a release coating on the outside of the envelope-pocket.
