Abstract: A system for determining and presenting visual representations includes a receiving module configured to receive a set of coordinates representing one or more geographic locations of one or more features of interest, and an analysis module configured to define a region corresponding to the set of coordinates, the region having an extent based on a level of uncertainty associated with the one or more features of interest. The system also includes a visualization module configured to generate a visual representation of the defined region and present the visual representation on a map.

Abstract: A book holder for supporting and protecting an article of reading material is provided. The book holder includes a spine, a pair of cover panels, each of the cover panels is hingidly to the spine permitting the pair of cover panels to be rotated into an open position and to be rotated into a closed position. The book holder is adapted to receive and support an article of reading material in an open position when the book holder is open and for enclosing and protecting the reading material when the book holder is closed. A page holder assembly is provided to hold the reading material open and for marking a page. The page holder assembly can also include a line marker for marking a line of text in the reading material. In additional embodiments, an illumination means for illuminating the reading material and a magnify sheet for magnify the reading material may be provided.

In an embodiment, the device comprises a housing, a clip attached to the housing and a label encased within the housing. The housing further comprises a base portion and a cover portion, wherein the cover portion is adapted to enclose a label within the base portion of the labeling device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sheet-retaining system for securing sheets on a sheet carrier, in particular for securing paper sheets in a cover, having a retaining and connecting device for securing at least one sheet at the sheet edge and for connecting the at least one sheet to the sheet carrier indirectly via the retaining and connecting device. According to the invention, the retaining and connecting device has a retaining bar which is connected to the at least one sheet, may possibly be subdivided into separate sections and extends along the sheet edge which is directed towards the sheet carrier.

Abstract: A system for mounting a component to a portfolio including a tongue located on the component, the tongue having a tail portion and a tip portion, and a portfolio having a tongue opening formed therein. The top can be inserted into the tongue opening and component rotated relative to the portfolio until the tongue is generally received through the tongue opening to couple the component to the portfolio.

Abstract: A binder for storage of sheet materials, particularly large sheet materials, such as maps, blueprints and the like, in a flat configuration. An elongated frame element, which supports the sheet materials along a marginal edge in a hanging orientation, is provided with a pivoting hand grip mounted on the frame and movable between vertical and horizontal orientations. The hand grip, of which there may be more than one, enables the binder and its contents to be conveniently removed from a storage rack and re-positioned for use.

Abstract: The invention is a cover binder including a one piece cover, a one piece plastic strip adapted to pierce the spine of a book and a means for engaging the strip to the cover, and a method and an apparatus for binding books in the cover binder as by providing a plastic strip with at least one leg, piercing the spine of the book from within by the leg of the strip, passing the leg through the cover and melting the end of the leg to form a button to secure the leg to the cover, and cooling the button by means of a heat conducting die that may simultaneously shorten the cool down of the melted plastic button and emboss a design on the button.

Abstract: A board for writing by means of a pen producing erasable marking comprises a header (2) fixed to it by means of a hooking device which permits the header to be removed from the board and hooked again an infinite number of times without damaging any part of the header or the board. The hooking device consists of wings (7) which act as a guide when the board and the header are assembled, a pair of elements (8) of inverted "U" shape which are inserted into a pair of openings (6) located in the board.
