  • Patent number: 10549486
Abstract: In a process for the manufacture of an impermeable connection between at least two fluid carrying silicone hose components, the silicone hose components and a silicone connector component are first prepared. Afterwards a fluid silicone mass is applied to at least one connecting area where the silicone hose components abut on the silicone connector components. The at least one connecting area is post cured to harden the silicone mass. In a fluid carrying assembly with at least two fluid carrying silicone hose components and at least one silicone connector component, a fluid carrying connection is manufactured between these components by means of this process. This design results in a connecting technique that is, on the one hand, secure and, on the other hand, enables automation of the manufacture of an impermeable connection and thus of the fluid carrying assembly.

  • Patent number: 8695214
Abstract: A network and method of laying network cables in water supply pipes is disclosed. A building is situated near a roadway along which is laid a trunk cable. A water supply pipe branches off the water main to enter the building. A water supply pipe is provided at the time of construction of the building and is an underground pipe. It is conventional to provide a dedicated (and usually underground) conduit for a branch cable, which is expensive and disruptive. In the present invention the branch cable is laid along water supply pipe, enabling the cable to cross between the trunk cable and the building with minimal disturbance of the ground therebetween. This is achieved by introducing cable to pipe by use of a suitable Y-junction at location and removing the cable from the pipe by use of a second such Y-junction at location.

Abstract: A flow merging and dividing device, wherein two refrigerant flows move from two inlets (31, 32) located at an inlet part (5) into a merging part (6) for merging, the drift of the two refrigerant flows is eliminated by the merging of the flows at the merging part (6), and the refrigerant flows in which the drift is eliminated by the merging of the flows at the merging part (6) flows out from three outlets (33, 35, 36) located at an outlet part (7), whereby two refrigerant flows can be discharged as three refrigerant flows again from the three outlets (33, 35, 36) after two refrigerant flows are merged so as to eliminate the drift of the two refrigerant flows.

  • Patent number: 6290265
Abstract: A connector and tubing assembly including a multi-lumen molded connector having at least three flexible tubes also molded into the connector. The connector may be “Y” shaped and include three flexible tubes. A process of making the connector and tubing assembly involves forming a first part of the connector with two tubes molded therein and then removing an internal mold member prior to molding the final connector portion and third tube in place.

  • Patent number: 6182326
Abstract: Apparatus for a home workshop to collect wood dust from a plurality of locations and deposit the dust in a central container. The apparatus consists of a tubing manifold, running along the wall of the workshop, with multiple connection points for tools. The manifold contains a vacuum tee fitting that allows the vacuum source to be connected in the middle of the manifold, rather than at one of the ends, without sacrificing collection efficiency. This reduces the average length of the suction path to the tools, further enhancing collection efficiency, and allows location of the vacuum source where convenient.
