  • Patent number: 10100964
Abstract: A repair pipe and method for repairing a standard sized PVC pipe having a hole or other pipe damage so the PVC pipe can be used to transfer fluid. The repair pipe has a tubular body that is selected with a length to extend across a cutout section of the PVC pipe and an inside diameter only slightly larger than the outside diameter of the PVC pipe to provide a small gap between the two pipes. The method comprises the steps of sliding the repair pipe over one end of the PVC pipe to provide an exposed area at the end of the PVC pipe, placing adhesive on the exposed area and on the exposed area of the opposite end of the PVC pipe and then sliding the repair pipe across the cutout section to position the repair pipe over the glued areas of the PVC pipe.

Abstract: A leakage-proof pipe fitting of quick connection for Reverse Osmosis Membrane (RO) water treatment unit of household comprises a pipe fitting of elbow type, a sealing O-ring, an annular cooperative bushing collar, an accessory latching clip and an adapted cylindrical elastic sleeving collet with an elongated annular delimiting flange, whose longitudinal thickness is lengthened into at least double length for the original longitudinal thickness of the conventional annular delimiting flange to extend the embracing distance from the top surface of the adapted cylindrical elastic sleeving collet to the bottom surface of the cylindrical retainer in the pipe fitting of elbow type so that the curvature for the bent water pipe/tube covered by the embracing distance is reduced. Thereby, the sealing O-ring is free from uneven stress of the bent water pipe/tube. Consequently, it has effect in preventing RO water treatment unit from the leakage of compressed water therein.

The annular reinforcing bolster is inserted into the cylindrical retainer of the pipe fitting in sandwich between the sealing 0-ring and the bottom surface of the cylindrical elastic sleeving collet. By interposing the annular reinforcing bolster between the cylindrical docking receptacle in the pipe fitting and the scaling O-ring, the water pipe/tube inserted is closely propped and sleeved in symmetrical manner without causing uneven sealing effect incurred by the asymmetrically non-isometric deformation of the sealing O-ring due to bent water pipe/tube. Abstract: An adaptor for forming a branch in a conduit is shaped and dimensioned to slide onto a cylindrical conduit. The adaptor includes a collar having an outer generally circumferentially extending wall, end walls and a cylindrical passage extending between the end walls. The passage has an inner wall and an opening at each end, and spaced resiliently deformable sealing means adjacent each opening. The sealing means is positioned to provide a seal between the collar and the cylindrical conduit when the adaptor is slidingly engaged with the cylindrical conduit. The collar includes at least one fluid flow passage extending between the outer wall and the inner wall.

  • Patent number: 6568713
Abstract: The module (2) comprises a tubular body (8) extending along a first axis (10) with at least one radial outlet (12). The module (2) has a female end-piece (16) at one extremity and a corresponding male end-piece (14) at the other. Bore holes (22, 28) extending along a plane which is substantially perpendicular to the first axis are provided on both sides of the module (2) at each of the ends thereof. When two modules (2) are fitted into each other, the bore holes (22) of one module are aligned with the bore holes (28) of the other module on both sides of the unit thus created. When the bore holes are parallel, adjacent modules are fixed by means of a U-shaped bracket whereby the branches thereof are placed in the aligned bore holes.

  • Patent number: 6193879
Abstract: Reject waste water adapter coupling fitting, system and installation method for use with a household undercounter reverse osmosis (R/O) water filtration installation associated with an in-counter sink having a garbage disposer with its outlet connected by standard slip fit plumbing fittings to a sink drain trap plumbed to the household sewer system. The R/O reject waste water undercounter drain line is coupled into the sink drain trap in parallel drainage relation with the disposer outlet plumbing fittings by a baffle Tee plumbing fitting having first and second inlets perpendicular to one another with their input drainage liquid flow separated by an internal baffle. The garbage disposer outlet is coupled by a standard slip fit single inlet/outlet conduit plumbing fitting to the baffle Tee first inlet. The baffle Tee has a single outlet slip coupled to the inlet of the trap.
