    Abstract: Proposed are stamping foils and processes for the production thereof, which make it possible to form on a carrier film patches which are completely separate from each other and which can be transferred on to a substrate using the procedure which is usual when dealing with stamping foils, wherein the transfer operation can be effected in such a way that no flakes which interfere with subsequent overprinting are formed.
