Abstract: An arrow extractor particularly useful for removing a broadhead or field head arrow embedded in a tree stump, three-dimensional target or other solid object and further designed to pull directly on the arrow shaft whereby such pulling force can be applied evenly and linearly and in parallel with the shaft of the arrow such that the likelihood of damage to the arrow is diminished. The arrow extractor includes two opposed hollowed out arrow grippers attached to pivoted lever arms through which gripping force is applied to the arrow shaft. A further benefit of the invention is that harmful forces are minimized upon the wrists and arms of the person using the device.

Abstract: A terminal pliers structure includes a seat, a drive mechanism, and a clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism includes a first clamping block, a second clamping block, and a spring. In operation, the first clamping block and the second clamping block are forced to pivot in concert with each other, thereby facilitating the user operating the terminal pliers structure, and thereby saving the manual work. In addition, the first teeth of the first clamping block mesh with the second teeth of the second clamping block to enhance the clamping force between the first clamping block and the second clamping block, so that the clamped terminal head can be clamped between the first clamping block and the second clamping block rigidly and stably.

Abstract: A tool and process for installing a trim clip to a mounting surface. The tool includes a handle attached to a grasping portion. The grasping portion is provided with a base that is adapted for insertion into a hollow pocket that exists within the trim clip. A pair of retaining arms are maintained at some distance above the base and extend outwardly along the length thereof. The retaining arms each include at least one spring-loaded ball that extends downward from an underside thereof. When the grasping portion is engaged with the trim clip, the trim clip is retained by the presence of the base within the pocket and by a downward force exerted on the trim clip by the spring-loaded balls. The tool can be used to easily remove a trim clip from a storage medium, install the trim clip to a mounting surface, and subsequently release the trim clip.

Abstract: A universal bushing tool for removing bushings of various diameters from machine assemblies is disclosed. The present tool comprises a handle, a plurality of interchangeable handle extensions, a plurality of sets of interchangeable wedge segments, and a plurality of interchangeable pilot studs which are mechanically attached to the handle extension. In a method of the present invention, a set of wedge segments is selected based on the diameter of bushing to be removed. Next, a handle extension of an appropriate length is selected based on location and access to the bushing. Next, a pilot stud of an appropriate diameter for the size of the wedge segments to be used for removing the bushing is selected. Thereafter, the wedge segments are arranged at 90° intervals about the pilot stud and captured between the pilot stud and the handle extension and tightened retaining the wedge segments in a disc-shaped configuration.

Abstract: A connecting rod cap separator system comprising a housing having a pair generally side components each with an inside face and an outside faces adapted to fit inside the circular aperture of a connecting rod; a pair of support screws; an activation shaft with a threading and a crank lever; and a pair displacing wedges each having a pair of sloped faces and apertures extending there through. The apertures are adapted to receive the activation shaft such that when the activation shaft is rotated by the crank lever in one direction, threading of a displacing wedge draw the wedges closer together thereby displacing the side components of the housing outwardly to an expanded state, and when the activation shaft is rotated by the crank lever in the opposite direction, threading of a displacing wedge expands the wedges away from each other thereby contracting the side components of the housing inwardly to the contracted state.

  • Patent number: 7152293
Abstract: This is a device use for removing a hinge pin from its hinge assembly safely, quickly, and easily, using lever action instead of the traditional hammering or banging. This device is placed over the top of the door hinge, where it rests by grabbing the head of the hinge pin. It has a handle that is attached to a gear wheel, which rotates on a shaft, when the handle is moved up and down. It has an L shaped arm that has a thin rod attached to it lower part. The L shaped arm has teeth on it backside, which interlocks with the gear wheel. When the handle is pulled sown, the gear wheel rotates and raised the L shaped arm. This raises the thin rod that is attached to the L shaped arm, which in turn pushes up against the bottom of the hinge pin, thus raising the hinge pin up and out of the door hinge assembly.
