  • Patent number: 8881355
Abstract: This repair device includes a casing, a slide shaft slidably arranged with respect to the casing, a turn table rotatably arranged with respect to the slide shaft, a cutting mechanism installed on the turn table and including a cutting tool, and an advancing and retracting mechanism that displaces a radius of rotation of the cutting mechanism with respect to rotations of the turn table forward and backward. In a state where the casing is centered and positioned with respect to the pipe, the turn table is rotationally displaced while the slide shaft slides in an axial direction, and the advancing and retracting mechanism displaces the cutting mechanism forward and backward. Accordingly, the cutting tool helically turns along an inner peripheral shape of the pipe to cut an inner periphery of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 8022311
Abstract: Disclosed are a printed circuit board for improving the tolerance of embedded capacitors and a method of manufacturing the same. The printed circuit board having embedded capacitors is manufactured by transferring and embedding a circuit layer having a lower electrode formed through an additive process into a resin insulating layer, and thereby is minimized in the circuit tolerance conventionally caused by an etching process to thus be applied to capacitors for RF matching.

  • Patent number: 6564449
Abstract: A method of making a wire connection in a semiconductor device, the method comprising: (a) forming an under bump metallurgy (UBM) over a chip including the bonding pad formed thereon; (b) forming a gold bump on the UBM at a location corresponding to the bonding pad; (c) etching the UBM with the gold bump as a mask; and (d) connecting one end of a bonding wire to a conductive lead by ball bonding and the other end thereof to the gold bump on the bonding pad of the chip by stitch bonding. The conductive lead is located external to the chip as a part of a lead frame or a substrate. Alternatively, the semiconductor chip having bumps may be formed by electroless plating a nickel layer on the bonding pads of the chip, and followed by electroless plating a gold layer on the nickel layer. It is noted that the semiconductor chip having metal bumps is formed by wafer bumping process.

  • Patent number: 6442829
Abstract: A production and/or assembly apparatus for processing workpieces has a stationary frame forming basic unit of the system. A motion device is movably supported on the frame. A plurality of workpiece carriers are moved in an indexed manner relative to processing modules and feeders arranged in a fixed position on the frame. The workpiece carriers and/or the processing modules and/or the feeders are detachably fastenable in their respective positions by fastening devices which have an identical design in each case for the workpiece carriers and/or the processing modules and/or the feeders. The apparatus can be reset or retooled by simply exchanging one or more of the workpiece carriers, one or more of the processing modules, and/or one or more of the feeders. The resetting and retooling thereby does not affect the frame forming the basic unit.

  • Patent number: 4523359
Abstract: A machine has an intermittently rotating table for holding parts to be worked on or assembled. Operating units (20, 21, 25) are actuable either simultaneously for all units or groups of units, or independently of one another. The operating units can be mounted vertically over or under the table and also laterally and can receive the rotary movement of a central wheel or independent motors. According to a preferred embodiment, the control of the feed is effected by the central shaft (4). During a work cycle, this shaft makes a vertical movement and transmits that movement to the operating units (20, 21) by radial linear cams (16, 17, etc.), i.e., feed and return occur during a single movement of the shaft (4), for example, downward. During idle time, i.e.
