Pressurized Dispensing Container Patents (Class 29/776)
  • Publication number: 20120181306
Abstract: A fluid dispenser valve for mounting on a neck of a reservoir containing fluid, the valve having a valve body including a metering chamber, and a valve member that is movable in the metering chamber between a rest position and a dispensing position. The metering chamber includes an upper gasket and a lower gasket that co-operate in leaktight manner with the valve member. The valve includes a neck gasket that co-operates in leaktight manner with the valve body and with the receptacle neck, the valve body being made as a single piece. The neck gasket and said lower gasket are overmolded on the single-piece valve body.

  • Patent number: 7849597
Abstract: A method (100) and an apparatus for manufacturing a heat-dissipation device (10) with a vacuum chamber and a working fluid therein are disclosed. The method includes the following steps: vacuuming a hollow metal casing (12) through a first open end (121) thereof until an interior of the casing reaches a predetermined vacuum degree; sealing the first open end; filling a predetermined quantity of working fluid into the casing through a second open end (123) thereof; and sealing the second open end. The apparatus includes a vacuum pump, a liquid-storage tank and a set of processing device, as used respectively for the above vacuuming, liquid-filling and sealing steps. By this apparatus, the heat-dissipation device can be manufactured at a same place without the requirement to shift the casing from one place to another place during the manufacture of the heat-dissipation device.

  • Patent number: 5636429
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing pieces of flexible material from a length thereof (such as tubes 30 from plastics tubing 4) has a rotor 6 with a port 9 through which the tubing 4 is fed. Rotation of the rotor about its axis 7 displaces an end 4' of the tubing over a cutter 15 to cut the tube piece. The tube piece 30 may be gripped by jaws 23 on a turret 20 and carried to a transfer station 31 at which the tube piece 30 may be picked up by jaws 71 on a vertically displaceable head 60 of a locating unit 3. The head 60 rotates with a turret 56 and is displaced vertically under cam control 62, 63 for fitting an end 30A of the tube piece into a component, such as an open topped container 40, in a seat 52 beneath the head 60. The container 40 may be conveyed to the seat 52 in a filling and sealing line for forming a beverage package.

  • Patent number: 5052095
Abstract: Elongated tubular components are assembled with closures at an assembling station between a first conveyor which delivers properly oriented tubular components and a second conveyor which delivers properly oriented closures. One or more plungers are employed to transfer closures from discrete sockets of the second conveyor onto the adjacent ends of aligned components on the first conveyor. The sockets can receive closures from a web-like carrier which is or can be of one piece with the closures. The transfer of closures from the carrier into the sockets is effected by the pusher or pushers on a transporting device which is driven in synchronism with the second conveyor. The carrier can be drawn from a magazine or is supplied directly by a machine wherein the carrier is formed by providing a strip with a series of spaced-apart closures.

  • Patent number: 5042141
Abstract: A device is provided for placing a valve on an aerosol can. The device comprises a rotatable wheel (1, 101) which has arcuate cut-outs (2, 102) which receive and carry the cans. An arcuate track (6, 106b) follows part of the periphery of the wheel and converges towards it, and along this track valves are pushed by dogs (7, 104), provided adjacent each cut-out (2, 102). Each valve thus travels in alignment with its respective can and approaches it until it is placed thereon.

  • Patent number: 4451978
Abstract: A pneumatic spring counterbalance extensible link including a closed end cylinder with an end connector a piston and rod assembly within the cylinder and maintained therein by the crimped over end portion of the cylinder retaining a rod bushing and rod to cylinder seal. The cylinder is pressurized prior to assembly of the complete piston and rod into the cylinder. The piston assembly includes orifice by-pass means either in the piston periphery or in a piston ring, and the piston may include a fail-safe provision in the event the orifice is clogged. A crimping die assembly is used in assembling and completing final assembly of the counterbalance components while simultaneously maintaining the link in a pressurized environment, utilizing sealed arrangement between the crimping dies to maintain pressurization of the interior of the dies and the counterbalance components prior to assembly of the components.

  • Patent number: 4304116
Abstract: An improved multi-part die assembly for forming a closed clip comprises a mounting structure, punch means, first and second gate-die members and simultaneous driving means. The punch means reciprocates toward and away from a clip-forming station on the mounting structure, and the gate-die members pivot toward and away from the clip-forming station. A crown die is defined on the punch means for cooperation with the crown of an open clip. First and second leg dies on the first and second gate-die members cooperate with the legs of the open clip. The simultaneous driving means drives the punch means and the first and second gate-die members simultaneously whereby the closed clip is formed by cooperation with the crown die and the leg dies.
