Abstract: A component for a fuel injection system, in particular a high-pressure fuel injection system, includes a base body which is implemented in a tube-shaped manner at least sectionally. A tubular section of the base body is implemented having a longitudinal bending along a longitudinal axis of the tubular section which perpendicularly intersects the cross sections of the tubular section. At the longitudinal bending of the tubular section, the base body is implemented in such way that an ovality of the cross sections of the tubular section is reduced and/or smaller than 8% at the longitudinal bending.

Abstract: A method for forming peristaltic pump cassettes includes cutting tubing segments to different lengths based on the physical properties of the individual tubing segments. The size variations compensate for the physical parameters of the tube and improve accuracy in a peristaltic pump using the cassettes.
Abstract: In a method of making an exhaust gas collector, a collector housing is made from a tubular blank, and subsequently, an inlet duct is formed through a widening process to provide a substantially rectangular cross section with rounded narrow sides. The inlet duct is provided with a head flange. At the outlet side, the collector housing is necked by a press-forming process so as to shape an outlet duct having a substantially circular cross section which is reduced in size compared to the cross section of the collector housing. Attached to the outlet duct is an end flange.

Abstract: A method for producing a cylindrical flange for the end of an air duct is produced by compressing a panel by differing amounts to cause the panel to take on an arcuate cylindrical shape.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a pipe connector for a gas isolated switchgear has the steps of preparing a material block, a first forging process, a second forging process to form the material block to an I-shaped member, defining a passage through the I-shaped member, stretching the I-shaped member, a first heat treatment process (T4 process), straightening the I-shaped member to a desired length and a second heat treatment process (T6 process). With such a method, the processes for manufacturing the pipe connector are simple, and the cost for manufacturing the pipe connector is low.
