  • Patent number: 10160100
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for forming wire loops using wire looping pliers. In one embodiment of the invention, the pair of wire pliers having a cylindrical jaw and a recessed jaw for accepting the cylindrical jaw allows the user of the tool to make symmetrical wire loops on a consistent basis. Additionally, the width of the recessed jaw can be set such that the user can use the recessed jaw to measure the distance from a particular point where the neck of the wire loop should be broken. The recessed surface of the recessed jaw and the cylindrical jaw mate together in such a manner as to provide uniform pressure around a significant portion of the loop so as to prevent marring of the surface of the wire.

Abstract: Accessory systems and methods are provided. An accessory may be designed with two loops (such as an elastomeric strap or two elastic loops) attached to the back of a decorative ornament using, for example, an interlocking post. The accessory may be removably attached to footwear. The ornament may rest on the upper part of a shoe, while the two elastic loops secure the ornament by coming together underneath the shoe strap, upper or lace to form a single combined loop and then flipping over the ornament, thereby holding it in place. These accessory ornaments may be moved from shoe to shoe, allowing the wearer to create their own look. In addition, the wearer may change the ornament on the same shoe, changing the look of that one shoe, depending on the chosen ornament. The accessory ornament may be attached to other objects, such as ski poles, helmets, goggles, bike handle bars, zippers, and purses.

Abstract: Anti-Twisting Fashion Jewelry Bra Straps, available either as a pair of over-the-shoulder straps or as a single strap worn halter-style over the neck, substitute for conventional, undergarment quality bra straps. These high-end fashion jewelry bra straps provide support for women's breasts when hooked onto the loops of strapless bras worn with clothing that exposes women's shoulders, while adding a touch of elegance to the wearer's outfit. Anti-twisting feature ensures that these straps will lie flat against women's shoulders without twisting or sliding for greater freedom of movement while making sure the decorative side of the strap face outside. Three design components achieve this feature: anti-twisting bow-tie anchor pieces; flat metal ornament settings; fine metal loops [one at each end of the settings] that connect the settings and bow-ties. Flexible and elegant extender chains with lobster clasps at the end of the straps allow women to adjust strap length.

Abstract: The present invention in one embodiment is a bead formed from bottle caps of a beverage container. In another embodiment of the invention, pieces of jewelry or other ornamental objects are formed from bottle caps of beverage containers. In yet another embodiment of the invention, pieces of jewelry or other ornamental objects are formed from the metal of cookie tins, candy tins, mint tins or similar metal containers. After appropriate preparation, a bottle cap or piece of metal from a tin is placed in a press tool having a punch member forming tool and cutting die that cooperatively interact to reform the bottle cap or metal from a tin, and in some cases punch out a piece of the bottle cap or metal from a tin. This produces, in several embodiments, a component that will be joined with one or more other similar components to form the bead or ornamental object of desire. In other embodiments, the reformed bottle cap or piece punched out of the bottle cap or tin is the desired ornamental object itself.
