  • Patent number: 11908261
Abstract: An intelligent electronic lock for receiving an identification signal and an induction signal includes a housing, a wireless sensor, a current divider, a microcontroller, a driver and at least one blocking element. The wireless sensor, the current divider, the microcontroller and at least one blocking element are disposed in the housing. An induction coil of the wireless sensor senses the induction signal to generate an induction current. The wireless sensor receives the identification signal. The current divider distributes the induction current to the microcontroller and the driver. The microcontroller obtains a target identification information from the identification signal. The microcontroller compares the target identification information with a reference identification information to output a control signal. The driver drives at least one blocking element to move between an unlocking position and a locking position.

  • Patent number: 8944476
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a closing panel having an end with a closing panel tab extending therefrom. A clasp lever is pivotally attached to the end of closing panel and forms a space into which the closing panel tab extends. Inner peripheral sidewalls of the clasp lever forming the space allow the clasp lever to rotate around outer peripheral sidewalls of the closing panel tab when the clasp lever pivots around the end of the closing panel. An incessant force component is disposed within the space between the closing panel tab and a rear inner sidewall of the clasp lever and biases the clasp lever to a neutral position with respect to the closing panel. A force applied to an outer surface of the clasp lever against the bias causes the clasp lever to pivot around the end of the closing panel from the neutral position.

The retaining plate is relatively thin and is positioned between the free edge of the inswinging door and the door jamb with an end edge thereof projecting inwardly beyond the inner surface of the door and door jamb for receiving a locking plate. The end of the retaining plate and locking plate include a unique interrelationship in order that the locking plate can be positioned on the retaining plate in a secure but readily assembled and releasable manner with a substantial portion of the locking plate overlying the inner surface of the door and another substantial portion of the locking plate overlying the door jamb.

Abstract: A double opening gate latch for single and double gates and capable of being unlocked and opened from either side thereof. First and second latch brackets are fixed to opposite ones of a gate and fence assembly or a double gate assembly, the latch brackets being positioned on opposite sides from one another. A latch bar is provided on one side of the gate assembly and is positioned for registry with a latch bracket. A pivotal latch member extends through the gate or fence assembly and includes a part that is pivotal into latching registry with the other latch bracket. The pivotal latch member is positionable in locking and unlocking relationship with the latch bar. The latch apparatus permits the gate to be unlatched from either side thereof and also permits the gate to be securely locked on either or both sides thereof.

  • Patent number: 4403799
Abstract: A novel flush hasp for use in conjunction with a boat hatch, door or the like, the hasp having a base portion adapted to be mounted on a boat deck or door jamb adjacent the hatch or door. This base portion is utilized in conjunction with a movable hasp member adapted to be mounted on the hatch or door and movable therewith toward or away from engagement with the base portion. The base portion is provided with a locking means rotatable between locking and release positions, whereas the movable hasp member is provided with an aperture designed when adjacent the base member to receive the locking means and closely interact therewith. In accordance with the first two embodiments of this invention, the base portion has locking means in the form of a closed loop that may be rotated while extending through the aperture of the movable hasp member so as to tightly engage the movable portion of the hasp and thus achieve a latching of the hatch or door in the closed position.

The dependent member contains latching means adapted to be moved between a position in which engagement or disengagement of the hasp portions is readily permitted, and a motion-inhibiting or latching position. Locking means are provided for preventing on occasion, the latching means from being moved away from the motion-inhibiting position.

  • Patent number: 4139226
Abstract: A device for latching a sliding door member in place against a stationary frame structure includes an elongated hasp mountable on the door and engageable with a keeper secured to a bracket on the frame with which the hasp engages preventing it from moving laterally outwardly. A pair of cam elements are pivotally mounted on the bracket for movement about a common axis above the hasp, and have flat end surfaces directly overlying an end edge of the hasp for latching it against vertical upward movement. A stop pin on the bracket below such common axis engages with the cam elements for permitting one of them to pivot in only one direction while permitting the other cam element to pivot in only an opposite direction so that the hasp remains latched against vertical upward movement by one or the other of the cams even when subjected to forces having a tendency to cause the cams to pivot in either such direction.
