Abstract: A transport device, a transport method for transporting a semi-finished product, and a processing device for processing a semi-finished product are provided. The transport device has at least one positioning device for positioning the semi-finished product in relation to the transport device and at least one retaining device for retaining the semi-finished product on the transport device. The positioning device can be inserted into an engagement region of the semi-finished product at least in some segments and the retaining device can be arranged on a surface of the semi-finished product at least in some segments.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a gripping head for packages of a wedge-like form. The invention also concerns a method of gripping a group of packages and transferring them into a box. The gripping head has side steering plates and pressure finger plates on two opposite sides. At one end of the gripping head a stop plate is arranged between the side steering plates and the pressure finger plates, while the opposite end is open. The side steering plates each has a number of steering plates and fingers of the pressure finger plates are placed on either side of the steering plates, which fingers are received in notches of the side steering plate. The fingers have folded lower ends. The side steering plates and the pressure finger plates are arranged mutually moveable bringing the folded lower ends of the fingers into and out of a position below the side steering plates.
Abstract: A rigging device includes a fixture having opposed first and second ends, opposed upper and lower faces, and a bracket extending away from the upper face of the fixture between the opposed first and second ends of the fixture to engage a hoist line of a crane. A support is mounted to the fixture proximate each of the opposed first and second ends on either side of the bracket extending away from the lower face of the fixture terminating with an engaging element movable between a disengaging position and an engaging position.
Abstract: To improve the handling, such as the gripping and displacement, of essentially rod-shaped objects, especially bars of articles that are stacked into one another in such a way that they can be separated, such as plastic cups, the present invention proposes a device with a plurality of first holding rods with essentially hook-like end pieces for extending under the rod-shaped objects. The device according to the present invention is characterized in that the end pieces can be moved under the objects and for releasing same by a motion into a plane extending at right angles to the direction of extension of the first holding rods.
Abstract: In one aspect of the present invention, a lifting assembly has a frame structure with a translatable support element. The support element has a load-bearing surface and a screw-form. The screw-form is threadedly connected to a gear which is in mechanical communication with a power source, which may be an electric motor. The load-bearing surface is fixed to a shaft of the translatable support element and at least a portion of the load-bearing surface is angularly oriented with respect to the shaft. A guide with at least one end fixed to the frame structure is adapted to adjust the rotational orientation of the load-bearing surface.

Abstract: A device for mechanically picking and palletizing rectangular objects of various sizes for attachment to a robotic arm. The device includes a pair of rails having a plurality of longitudinally spaced, elongated L-shaped grips extending there through. The distance between the respective rails can be adjusted to accommodate various width containers. The L-shaped grips are capable of pivotal rotation such that their grip ends rotate under the object for picking and palletizing. A pair of pallet hooks having suction cups attached thereto is also provided on the device.
