Bushings Patents (Class 295/35)
  • Patent number: 10889445
Abstract: An extended life conveyor chain in which a wheeled chain member (e.g. a chain link or chain supporting trolley) includes a projecting detent which engages a detent receiver on a load bearing wheel inner member locking the inner member against rotation with respect to the link. A rotating outer wheel rotates around the inner member. This relieves torsional pressure on a swaged connection between the inner non-rotating wheel portion and a fixed axle on the link and prevents resulting wear.

  • Publication number: 20110018295
Abstract: A trolley wheel assembly comprising a trolley bracket having a trolley wheel rotatably mounted therein. The trolley wheel has a central opening formed therein which receives a cylindrical bushing positioned therein. A pin means extends through the trolley bracket and the bushing to rotatably mount the trolley wheel on the trolley bracket. The bushing is comprised of a self-lubricating material as specifically described in the application.

  • Patent number: 6880469
Abstract: A trolley wheel assembly includes a wheel portion rotatably positioned around a hub portion and at least one sliding member positioned between the wheel portion and the hub portion. The sliding member defines a mating surface for mating with a generally correspondingly formed mating surface of the wheel portion and/or the hub portion. The mating surface of the sliding member defines a radial projection at least substantially circumferentially around the sliding member. The radial projection may slidably mate with the generally correspondingly formed mating surface of the wheel portion and/or the hub portion to facilitate rotation of the wheel portion about the hub portion. The wheel assembly may include one or more inserts that define the correspondingly formed mating surface and that are positioned between the sliding member and the wheel or hub portion to facilitate manufacturing and assembly of the wheel assembly.

  • Patent number: 4101180
Abstract: A roller assembly for use on a conveyor chain to provide rolling support for the working run thereof includes a roller journaled on a mounting bushing and held thereon from axial displacement by a double sealing ring arrangement at each roller end face. The double sealing rings are arranged to provide a labyrinth seal to aid in the retention of lubricant within and the exclusion of contaminants from the assembly, and the inner ring of each pair also provides an axial thrust bearing surface for the roller. The sealing rings are preferably of L-shaped cross section and are adaptable for use with rollers of either metal or platic construction.

  • Patent number: 4010972
Abstract: A wheel set for a bogie of a track vehicle in which wheels are mounted non-rotatably on an axle mounted in bearings of the bogie. Substantially wide rubber elastic inserts for springing each of the wheels, have an arched axial-radial cross-section. The height of the arch in radial direction is small relative to the width of the arch. The insert is arranged, furthermore, between the wheel hub and the wheel rim in the proximity of the hub boring and extending substantially over the entire width of the wheel hub. The apex of the arched insert faces the hub boring.
