    Abstract: A vehicle with an adjustable roof for providing a vehicle with enhanced capacity by permitting adjustment of the position of the roof of the vehicle. The vehicle with an adjustable roof includes an enhanced transport vehicle system, which comprises a vehicle having a front and a rear. The vehicle has a body including a cab portion located toward the front of the vehicle. The cab portion has a roof section. The body also includes a cargo portion extending rearwardly from the cab portion. The cargo portion has a floor and a pair of laterally spaced side walls extending upwardly in a substantially perpendicular orientation to the floor. The floor has a rear end, and the cargo portion has a roof section extending rearwardly from the roof section of the cab portion to a rear edge of the roof section. The side walls have upper edges extending substantially parallel to each other, and the upper edge of the side walls extend rearwardly from the rear edge of the roof section of the cargo portion.

The cargo cover includes a plurality of individual panels to cover the cargo area of the bed of a vehicle and a pair of side frames connected to sides of the bed of the vehicle. The cargo cover also includes a pair of side rails operatively cooperating with the panels and the side frames to allow the panels to slide relative to each other to open and close the cargo area of the bed of the vehicle.

The re-configurable cargo cover further includes the panels and the sides having features cooperating with each other to re-configure the panels into a plurality of different configurations for a cargo area of the bed of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A truck bed cover includes a pair of channels, each channel having an inwardly directed and outwardly directed receiving channel there along, slidably engaged on inwardly directed flanges of the side panels of the truck bed. At least one cover panel is then slid forwardly between the inwardly directed receiving channels of the channels on the flanges to cover the truck bed. A connector member which extends between the channels is utilized to interconnect cover panels on the truck bed. In trucks having a trapezoidal shaped bed, the channels have openings formed in upper portions of the forward ends thereof, and trapezoidal shaped cover panels are dropped through the opening and then slid rearwardly into engagement with a connector on the rearward most panel.
