Abstract: A stair system that is associated with a cargo platform of a commercial vehicle for transporting goods is disclosed. The stair system is integral with the vehicle and/or the cargo platform and provides a user/operator with easy and safe access to the cargo platform without occupying the storage space provided by the cargo platform. The stair system can be arranged in a deployed configuration when in use and in a stowed configuration that is road-ready and does not prevent the vehicle from being operated on paved roads.

Abstract: A cargo bed system of a vehicle includes a floor assembly of a cargo bed. The floor assembly is configured to transition back-and-forth between a standard position and an extended position. A step that moves with the floor assembly back-and-forth between the standard position and the extended position. The step is movable back-and-forth between a stowed position and a deployed position.

Abstract: A low profile holding tank-evacuable to a pressure differential of at least about 10? of mercury that includes a plurality of support structures, a peripheral wall, an upper outer layer of mild steel and a lower outer layer of mild steel, each of the upper outer layer and the lower outer layer is configured to be up to about ¼ inches thick. At least some of the plurality of support structures are required to be fixedly connected to upper and lower outer layers to prevent damages incurred on the low profile holding tank by repeated applications of the pressure differential of at least about 10? of mercury. At least some of the connections are required to be made from the outside of the tank via a welding, e.g., plug welding, technique.

Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a folding stowable seat for use on a boat is provided that includes a compartment in which the seat is stowed when not in use; a moveable lid attached with a hinged connection to the boat, the lid covering the compartment when the seat is stowed, and a top side of the lid configured for use as a step on the boat for use by boaters, and the lid is raisable about the hinged connection to an upright position to move the seat into a use position; a seat back; a seat bottom; and a movement assembly connecting the seat bottom to the compartment, the movement assembly facilitating movement of the seat bottom from a stowed position contained entirely within the compartment to a use position wherein the seat is at least partially outside of the compartment.

In a travel state, the roof element surrounds the connection element and the base element from an outside at the top and at least partially at the sides. To provide the set-up state of the trailer, the roof element extends a dimension of the base element by being erected substantially vertically, and the connection element increases a height of the base element by being erected, so as to provide a firmly enclosed usable space in an interior of the trailer.

Abstract: A reconfigurable RV is provided, having a multi-section wall separating a living quarters and a garage, that wall being vertically adjustable by elevation of the living quarters floor to selectively move between multiple modes of use, including full down, loft, and full up. The vertical adjustment of the wall permits changes in the usable area of the garage floor, according to the ceiling height needed in the garage and living quarters concurrently.

Abstract: A quick-detach storage system with configurable compartments for a vehicle bed is provided. An example lightweight system has a rail member that can be quickly attached to and removed from the bed of a pickup truck by a single user standing near the pickup. A sliding member extends from the rail past the end of the tailgate of the pickup or other vehicle, allowing the user to attach and detach baskets and containers to the sliding member. The baskets and containers can then be retracted back into the pickup bed along the rail. Various containers of the system are outfitted to hold liquids, grocery items, tools, bicycles, and other objects for easy loading into the bed of the pickup, where the items remain secure. In an embodiment, multiple instances of the quick-detach storage system may be joined with each other.

Abstract: A mobile bathroom assembly with a support frame member assembly operably configured to attach to a trailer hitch and support a lower shell and an upper shell. The lower shell includes a bottom wall and a sidewall enclosing a lower shell cavity and having a lower sidewall door. The bottom wall includes a toilet assembly coupled thereto fluidly coupled to a liquid supply tank and a circulation pump operably configured to induce a flow of liquid from the liquid supply tank to the toilet assembly. Abstract: A floor drawer is provided which is mounted so as to be below the floor when in the fully closed or storage position, and movable so as to be above the floor when in an accessible or open position. The floor drawer can be mounted to a support structure connected under the floor and then selectively slidable along a Lazy S track to emerge from the floor to rest on the floor, after a cover is opened. When in the closed position, the cover serves as an extension of the floor over the floor drawer opening. In vehicular applications, the support structure for the floor drawer is mounted between chassis beams or peripheral frame structure for the floor. The vertical component of the Lazy S track elevates the floor drawer over the vertical component of the chassis beam or frame structure, and the horizontal component of the Lazy S track guides the floor drawer toward or away from access doors to the vehicle exterior.

Abstract: A quick-detach storage system with configurable compartments for a vehicle bed is provided. An example system has a rail member removably attached to the anchors or bracket by a single user from the tailgate location of the truck, without the user having to climb into the bed of the vehicle or reach over the bed. Once seated on anchors, the rail member is secured. Baskets and containers removably attach to the rail. A sliding member can extend past the tailgate of the vehicle bringing baskets out to the user. The sliding member can be motorized. Dual slide or roller rails provide weight bearing capacity for securely sliding a bicycle or motorcycle in and out of the vehicle without lifting. The baskets can be removed and are portable by hand. The entire system is lightweight can be removed quickly by a single user without climbing aboard the vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a self-contained mobile living space that mimics the amenities of an entire residential property in order to affordably house individuals, particularly in urban environments. All living necessities are fused into one micro-living platform, independent of access to existing structures, land space, electricity, or sewage hookups, allowing landowners to rent out space with limited effort. The wheeled foundation allows the assembly to circumvent some of the existing urban building codes. In preferred embodiments, the various elements are configured in such a way that separate areas for sleeping, leisure, bathing, cooking, and gardening can be had atop a single compact space, with the use of exterior space maximized to heighten the sense of spatial availability for the occupant.

Abstract: Semi-trailer units are configured to erect a mobile and scalable detention center to help relieve overcrowded conditions in prisons. A series of conventional semi-trailer units are modified and configured to create a detention center providing typical incarceration features. The trailer units can be arranged in different configurations to provide space for different purposes. Multiple trailer units can be positioned side by side along their length with the walls of the interior trailer units removed to increase the usable area within and among the joined trailer units. The detention center can be scaled up in overall size with additional units as necessary, and reduced in scale or deconstructed if the overcrowding situation were to become relieved.

The appliance lift sits on the bottom of a cabinet, rolls forward and rotates forward and up using four rotating bars and a gear with spring and damper linking them together. This system consists of a platform dimensioned of a size and shape to support most kitchen counter-top appliances or any other like sized items. The platform is supported by a series of linkages housed in a frame. The frame is then on a moveable track. The entire structure is sized to fit inside the lower section of a standard kitchen cabinet.

Abstract: A vehicle lifting system comprising a mechanism fixedly disposed within a center pillar at the side of a vehicle, for extending out of the pillar and exerting a downward force onto the surface on which the vehicle is positioned. When the force is exerted on the surface, the side of the vehicle is lifted above the surface. A control device is utilized for selectively extending the mechanism out of the pillar and retracting the mechanism back into the pillar.

Abstract: An in-line jack includes a body, an extendable shaft, drive mechanics, and a motor. The body has first and second distal ends. The extendable shaft is movably disposed within the body and has a distal end extending out of the second distal end of the body. The drive mechanics are disposed within the body and are adapted to move the extendable shaft with respect to the body. The motor is mounted at the first distal end of the body and is adapted to selectively drive the drive mechanics. A coupling mechanism can be provided to selectively alternately couple: (i) a planetary gear system associated with the motor to a drive shaft of a jack screw assembly and (ii) a manual crankshaft to the drive shaft to operate the jack manually. The body and the motor each has a generally cylindrical outer surface with an outer diameter equal to or less than about three inches. The body, the jack screw assembly, the coupling mechanism, the planetary gear system, and the motor are substantially axially aligned with each other.

Abstract: A flexible plumbing assembly for a vehicle having a main cabin portion with an extensible cabin portion that is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position includes a flexible hose having a fixed end connected to the fixed cabin portion and a moveable end connected to the movable cabin portion. The flexible plumbing assembly also includes a sliding structure for facilitating movement of the movable end with respect to the fixed end as the extensible cabin portion moves between the extended and retracted positions. The flexible hose and the sliding structure are disposed in a floor of the extensible cabin portion.

Abstract: A drawer-type cooling box assembly includes a cooling box which is mounted in a housing, in particular in a kitchen unit of a camping vehicle, so as to be able to be pulled out and pushed in on pull-out guides and has an upwardly directed access opening and an upper cooling box covering. The drawer-type cooling box is able to be operated very much more easily and significantly improving the accessibility to foodstuffs stored in the drawer-type cooling box, which is obtained in that the cooling box covering is mounted movably in the kitchen unit via coupling elements, is lifted off upward from the cooling box in a pulled-out position of same and, in a pushed-in position, is lowered downward onto the access opening of the cooling box.

The device may have a base mounted to a threshold of the trailer frame and a support arm that has a friction reducing member mounted to the support arm. A spring member may be mounted on the base to assist in supporting and leveling the slideout room floor. The support arm of the slideout room supporting and leveling device may remain in continuous contact with the floor of a slideout room during extension and retraction in order to support and level the slideout room.

Abstract: A utility trailer that includes a main compartment, an aft compartment, a hitch and jack assembly to attach it to a vehicle, and a number of components that will assist an individual in both shredding brush and branches as needed and also removing the resulting residue quickly and easily with use of various control boxes attached to the utility trailer. The trailer also includes a top-mounted shoot opening for throwing brush and debris into the utility trailer and conveyor belt system located within the main compartment for moving debris within the main compartment onto a pulled-out debris tray. A fold-down interior door is located within the main compartment and usually covers the conveyor belt system. Furthermore, a debris pusher blade is also located within the main compartment and can be utilized to push debris out of the main compartment by attached controls.

According to the invention, the delimiting wall construction is designed in such a way that it can be inflated with the closing means closed from the stored state into an inflation state that temporarily occurs during the erection of the tent construction.

Abstract: A recreational vehicle having a chassis with integral cap is provided. The recreational vehicle includes a cap having a front end and a back end and a pair of opposing sides. A roof encloses a portion of the top of the cap and the cap defines a driving space. The chassis is designed to house an engine block in a rear thereof, and support a living space thereon. The cap is configured for abutted contact with the living space such that the recreational vehicle has a continuous interior living space that includes the driving space.

Abstract: The wheel-less camper comprises at least one jack mounted to the camper, the first jack being disposed inside the first sidewall. The camper may include a second jack, the second jack being disposed inside the second sidewall. Each wall of the camper may have an inner wall and an outer wall, the first jack being disposed between the inner and outer wall of the first sidewall and the second jack being disposed between the inner wall and outer wall of the second sidewall. The camper may also include third jack and a fourth jack. In one embodiment, the inner walls are omitted. In another embodiment, the inner wall includes a bulged area or an unevenness to accommodate one or more of the jacks. In another embodiment, the first jack may be a pull-out jack that is movable between a first position in which it is disposed inside the first sidewall and a second position in which it extends out from the first sidewall. The camper may include a second pull-out jack.

Abstract: A recreational camper wind restraint system and method that includes a housing connected to a portion of a recreational camper, a recreational camper having a movable portion, the movable portion having a compacted position and an expanded position, a retractable belt having a first end rotatably contained within the housing and a second end operatively connected to the moveable portion, a winding means contained within the housing for operatively winding and unwinding the retractable belt longitudinally within a predetermined range of movement defined substantially by the compacted position and the expanded position of the moveable portion, and an energy-absorbing element adapted to cooperate with the retractable belt to absorb energy and temporarily lock the retractable belt in a fixed position when a predetermined force is exceeded by a wind condition.
