The display unit displays the information in a main display mode and a sub display mode having a less influence on a travelling of a nearby vehicle than the main display mode has. While the information is displayed in the main display mode, the control unit switches the main display mode to the sub display mode or stops an operation of the display unit when the first determination unit determines that the possibility of entry exceeds the threshold, or when the second determination unit determines that the nearby vehicle exists in the view area.

The rigid segments are linked by hinges or cables so the display is flexible and can be rolled up for storage and transport. The weight of the display on the linked hinges or the tensioned cables provides sufficient rigidity. Such cables, like a signal and power distribution bus, are connected to the rear of each rigid element.
