The rest adjusting mechanism is convertible between an unlocked state, where the leg rest is permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame, and a locked state, where the leg rest is not permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame.

The frame assembly is constructed to allow the horizontal frame to fold over and behind the wheelchair for a vertical relationship with the frame upright.

The shoulder straps can be selectively opened between ends. Abstract: A detachable, foldable seat specially designed to attach to the tailgate of a pickup truck or sport utility vehicle. The device comprises a bench seat, having a bottom seat cushion and a back support cushion attached to a hinge mechanism with a tailgate jamb post. The seat can fold in half at the hinge between the bottom and back support cushion of the device. During installation, the jamb post of the hinge inserts into the jamb between the open tailgate and the truck bed, securing the seat in position. A dual purpose strap attaches to either side of the bottom cushion such that the strap wraps around the open tailgate and further secures the seat in place. When the device is uninstalled and in a closed configuration, the strap serves as a fastening strap to keep the device in a stowed position.

When in use, the bench cap is mounted on the bench body member in its expanded state. The bench body member, in its expanded state, forms a four-sided cylindrical body. Each of the four walls of the four-sided cylindrical body is made of a soft exterior layer, and a solid composite panel that is enclosed within the soft exterior layer. The bench cap is a non-collapsible cap-shaped body that is formed from a bench cap surface member, and bench cap walls to which the bench cap surface member is connected. The bench cap surface member and the bench cap walls are made of a soft exterior layer, and a solid composite panel enclosed within the soft exterior layer. When stored, the bench body support panel and the collapsed bench body member of the present collapsible stool are disposed in the non-collapsible bench cap, forming a single unit that is convenient for storage and transportation.

The chair assembly has a seat and a leg framework that supports the seat at a predetermined elevation. A backrest is provided that is adjustable between a generally vertical position and a generally horizontal position. At least a first pocket extends outwardly from the rear surface of the backrest. The auxiliary leg is connected to the rear of the backrest above the first pocket. The auxiliary leg can be folded against the backrest or rotated to a position where it extends away from the backrest. When in its folded position, the auxiliary leg extends around the periphery of the first pocket. In this manner, the auxiliary leg and the first pocket do not physically interfere with each other.

The bag has opposed ends and a length therebetween; an opening is at one end for passing the folding chair to and from the internal area. The blanket has a primary portion and at least one flap. An end of the primary portion is coupled to the bag and extends along at least a section of the bag length. The flap is sized to extend from the primary portion beyond a bag end and is not directly coupled to the bag. At least one fastener is configured to selectively couple the blanket to itself when the blanket is wrapped around the bag.

Abstract: A folding chair utilizes a gear train to control a folding motion and to achieve a compact closed form. While holding a handle integrated into a backrest, the weight of the chair allows it to open and unfold automatically into an open position. The folding chair locks in place in the open position. To refold the chair, a button is depressed to release the lock and the seat is pulled toward the backrest. The gear train refolds the front and rear legs. In the compact folded position, the lightweight chair can be carried with one hand in a relaxed position, similar to an attache case. The handle is contoured so that it is possible for an adult to carry two chairs back to back in each hand.
