Abstract: Introduced here is a lightweight, foldable seat cushion which can be placed in the shopping cart seat to support a child's legs, and prevent the hard surfaces of the shopping cart, such as bars, from causing discomfort to the child and causing the child to try to get out of the cart. A seat cover can be temporarily attached to the seat cushion. The seat cover can be elastic to allow insertion of the seat cushion. The seat cover can have an image affixed to the seat cover, where the different sections of the seat cover form different sections of the image, such as body and legs. The seat cover can provide friction against the seat cushion, enabling a user to climb out of the seat cushion without sliding.

Abstract: An apparatus for a universal child car seat cover is provided for use with a child car seat. The child car seat cover comprises an absorbent material joined with a waterproof lining that covers the child car seat and receives a seated child. The absorbent material protects the child car seat from spills and contaminants, and covers any potentially dangerous or uncomfortable surfaces on the underlying child car seat. Seat belt openings may be closed around seat belts of the child car seat to prevent passage of spills onto the child car seat. A pocket permits an entirety of the child car seat cover to be rolled and tucked into the pocket. Cup holder openings provide access to cup holders of the child car seat. A drawstring within a peripheral channel may be cinched to fixate the child car seat cover on the child car seat.

Abstract: The present chair includes a scissoring straight leg and oblique support mechanism such that the chair may be folded between open and closed forms. The straight legs include lower feet and upper hubs. The oblique supports extend between the lower feet and upper hubs. The lower feet include structures that provide character to the folding chair.

Abstract: A modular furniture piece with integrated connectors comprises a first module with a plurality of first integrated connectors selectively located thereon. A second module is provided for fastening to the first module, and the second module has a plurality of second integrated connectors located thereon. The first integrated connectors register with the second integrated connectors when the first module and the second module are positioned with respect to each other in their assembled orientation.

Abstract: An exercise training device includes a base, a balance board, and a coil spring. The balance board includes a pair of foot pegs located at the distal ends of the balance board. The coil spring has a longitudinal axis and is vertically mounted between the base and the balance board. The coil spring deflects in response to forces applied laterally relative to the longitudinal axis of the coil spring such that a user can perform strength and balance exercises by controlling the position of the balance board. The exercise training device can include a handlebar mount configured to secure handlebars of a motorcycle or bicycle thereto and can be used to represent movement of the handlebars of a motorcycle or bicycle a user experiences while riding. Multiple forms of exercise can be performed with the present exercise training device.

The head rest has an internal Bluetooth, a micro SD/TF slot and/or an audio port which may connect to an external mp3 player. A plurality of parallel slits through the main body section of the insert allows harness hardware of a child's car seat (or other seat) to be inserted through the main body section of the insert at various locations; therein allowing the insert to be used in connection with various car seats.

Abstract: A chair includes a first component resembling sporting equipment and including a head portion and a handle portion. The head portion is pivotable about a first axis located on the handle portion. The chair also includes a second component that is substantially identical to the first component and interconnects with the first component to form a chair. The second component also resembles sporting equipment and includes a head portion and a handle portion. The head portion of the second component is pivotable about a second axis located on the handle portion of the second component. When assembled, one of the head portion of the first component and the head portion of the second component forms a seat of the chair.

Abstract: Provided is a seat cover for use with a seat, such as a seat of a shopping cart, high chair or the like. The seat includes a front wall, rear wall and a pair of opposed side walls. The seat cover includes a liner having a front panel, a pair of opposed side panels, and a rear panel. The linear is configured to be placeable within the seat such that front panel resides adjacent the seat front wall, the rear panel resides adjacent the seat rear wall, and the pair of opposed side panels reside adjacent respective ones of the pair of opposed seat side walls. The seat cover additionally includes a character connected to the liner and positioned relative to the liner such that when the liner is placed within the seat, the character appears to be seating within the seat.

Abstract: A bouncing seat for a child includes a seat support having an opening for receiving the child, a base, a post connected to and extending upwardly from the base, and first and second arms extending outwardly from a distal end of the post. The first and second arms are connected to the seat support, thereby connecting the seat support to the base. The post is aligned with the opening.

Abstract: An Adirondack chair having a lumbar support is disclosed. The chair includes a seat and a back attached to the seat. A lumbar support is provided on the back. The lumbar support defines a longitudinally convex front surface and at least one laterally concave front surface. Preferably, the seat, back and lumbar support are integrally molded as a unitary structure. The back may also be molded to include a headrest.

Abstract: The present invention may be used for attachment of a variety of seats and legs. A bracket may have a generally circular metal plate with bolt holes for receipt of bolts of a rotatable seat element. A seat mounting plate may be positioned above the circular metal plate on a support beam. The rotatable seat element may be attached by the bolts and fasteners to the bracket and to the top of a central pedestal by a central shaft. A plurality of legs may be attached to a middle portion and a bottom portion of the central pedestal. A generally annular footrest may be arranged around the central pedestal and attached to a second edge of the legs that are splayed outwardly and generally equidistant radially from the central pedestal.

Abstract: An infant chair designed to attach and secure to the rear of a seat functions as a conventional baby seat and has a soft fabric-based seat. The chair comprises a pair of adjustable handles that extend over the seating surface. The base of the chair also comprises a pair of adjustable legs to support the seat against the back cushion portion of the seat. The handles allow the infant chair to be placed upon a seat more safely than existing models. To make the chair more appealing to the infant, the chair comprises an animal motif with the handles being the upper arms of an animal and the lower base supports being the legs of an animal. The chair further has an integral vibrating mechanism and permanently attached toys to help amuse the infant while in the chair.

Abstract: An improved pet bed for a pet such as a small dog or a cat includes a seat cushion for the pet to rest on, much like the owner's lap, and a connected back cushion much like the owner's torso. A pair of arm cushions extend from the back cushion, the arms moveable from a spread-apart open position, and a closed portion where the ends may be locked together. While in the open position the arms may receive a shirt of the pet owner, much like a mannequin. Then the arms may be moved to the closed position, and the small pet inside enjoys the feeling of being held by the pet bed and the scent of the owner's clothing. Advantageously, the shirt may be laundered, worn by the owner and replaced onto the pet bed.

The hollow includes a frame pack fixed and installed to the skeletal part of the costume suit, in a position of an approximate equilibrium point of the costume suit. Abstract: A child stabilizer includes a frame portion having a first elongate frame member extending in a generally vertical direction and having upper and lower ends. The frame portion includes a second and third frame member extending outwardly from the lower end of the first frame member. A cushioned outer member encloses the frame portion and may include the appearance of a stuffed animal. The outer member may be removably coupled to a child such that the first frame member extends adjacent the child's spine and the second and third frame members extend outwardly behind the child to prevent the child from toppling backwards while sitting. The frame portion is sufficiently rigid to prevent the child from toppling backwards without buckling.

Abstract: A head support system, comprising a seat cover having a front portion and a rear portion that terminate at a bottom end. The front portion comprises first and second loop padding. Headwear comprises first and second earpieces. The first and second earpieces have third and fourth loop padding thereon. Restraining means are used to restrain an infant or toddler's head in an upright position with comfort to the infant or toddler.

Abstract: Presented herein is an article of furniture for play and education, comprising a set of attachable cushions, each of which has at least one concave surface. When the set of cushions is arranged with the concave surfaces creating a substantially concentric interior surface, the article of furniture forms a substantially spherical shape with the substantially concentric interior surface forming a hollow core in the middle of the article of furniture. This hollow core provides an area in which a child may stand, hide, sit, or roll and the like. The cushions may also be configured into a variety of other shapes, such as a rocking chair, a crib, a ball with a large inner cavity for rolling or hiding, a down-turned hemisphere on which a child may sit, and so forth.

A first mode in which the article is configured as a basketball goal, a second mode in which the article is configured as a chair within an upwardly extended backboard, a third mode in which a net is deployed for returning basketballs to a shooter and a fourth mode wherein the article is configured as a chair with the backboard collapsed therebehind.

Abstract: An article of furniture, for example a chair, is upholstered with a sports jersey for displaying the jersey thereon. The front side and logo of the jersey are displayed on the back supporting surface of the chair while the rear side and player number of the jersey are displayed on the seating surface of the chair. The chair arms are upholstered with arms of the sports jersey. By providing a chair upholstered with a sports jersey conventional, authentic and readily available sports equipment can be reused in a practical way and displayed in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Abstract: A headrest device, kit and associated method is disclosed for use in mounting the device onto a top part of a backrest of a chair in a vehicle. The device comprises a headrest post, a first swath of fabric, a plastic sleeve, a second swath of fabric, and a cushion. The headrest post has a generally U-shape configuration with a generally rectangular base and two substantially parallel prongs extending from the base of the headrest post for insertion into the backrest of the chair of the vehicle. The first swath of fabric is attached to the rectangular base of the headrest post and has an exposed surface. The plastic sleeve is detachably attached to the rectangular base of the headrest post. The second swath of fabric is attached to the plastic sleeve, and has an exposed facade. The second swath of fabric is detachably attached to the first swath of fabric when the exposed facade of the second swath of fabric contacts the exposed surface of the first swath of fabric.

Abstract: Collapsible furniture assemblies having resilient locking barbs are provided. The furniture assemblies are comprised of plurality of panels that are interlockable by a plurality of registerable slots defined by the panels. The panels are further positively locked together in an assembled configuration by the incorporation of locking barbs into at least one panel of the furniture assembly which are received by at least one additional panel of the assembly. In multiple applications, several locking barbs are incorporated into different panels to positively lock the panels is an assembled configuration. Additionally, collapsible furniture assembles such as chairs, rocking chairs, beach chairs, desks, toy boxes, and cradles are provided, which include locking barbs.

The seat has a top face, a passage defined in the top surface of the seat, at least three legs formed on the seat and each leg and a supporting base formed on seat. The backrest assembly mounted on the seat and has a bracket, an angle adjusting device, a locking device and a fixed arm. The bracket has two supporting tabs defined in the bottom of the bracket to abut against the supporting base. The ball cushion is mounted inside the passage in the seat. The ball chair provides functions as adjusting backrest angle and the backrest may be extended for convenient use.

Abstract: A furniture piece including a base and a backrest pivotally connected to the base. An attachment component is positionable or movable between an engaged position locking the backrest in an upright position and a disengaged position allowing the backrest to move towards a folded position. A seat portion is pivotally connected to the base, and pivotally movable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position. With the backrest in the folded position, the furniture piece may be placed within a box and shipped and/or stored in a volume-efficient manner.

Abstract: Simulated bamboo fabricated from thin walled metallic stock material, the stock material preferably being stock tubing. Tubing is cold worked to impart realistic culm and node characteristics. The tubing is preferably formed into serial or repeating sections, each characterized by gradual, progressive curvature at each end of the respective section to simulate natural bamboo culms. A realistic node is worked into the tubing between adjacent sections. The invention may be regarded as the resultant elongate simulated bamboo article or, alternatively, an article of manufacture such as a chair incorporating the resultant elongate simulated bamboo article.

Beads are used as the filling material.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing motion therapy to a physically-challenged child includes an adjustable seat attached to the base of an amusement-type carriage device by a spring mechanism and having a back portion to provide lower back support to the child. An adjustable torso support mechanism is mounted on the amusement-type carriage device and provides lateral support to the child while seated on the ride. The torso support includes rotatable support arms to which are fastened adjustable hand brackets and hand pads, all mounted on vertically-positioned spine rods. An adjustable headrest support is mounted on the amusement-type carriage device to provide head and neck support to the child. An adjustable shoulder strap secures the child in a stable position during operation. A lap belt is also provided to securely position the child inside the torso support mechanism.

A lower part of the chair back is formed as a suspended flap to provide flexible support of the lumbar region of a person sitting on the chair.

Abstract: A shopping cart suitable for storage and conveyance of a conventional capacity of food or other products while also transporting and entertaining at least one child. The shopping cart has at least one storage basket, as well as a body integrally mounted below and forward of the basket. The body simulates a vehicle to provide a relatively easier shopping experience for the guardian and a more enjoyable shopping experience for the child. Additional features include the use of a swing arm to improve passenger safety, and bumpers to protect the cart and body from collision and abrasion.

Abstract: Soft-sculpted furniture, such as a chair, having unstructured seat and back portions and two arm portions. The chair can be in the form of a soft-sculpted animal or other figures or characters. The arm portions are contoured to follow the contour of the seat and back portions, are connected between the seat portion and back portion, and are constructed so that the chair provides support for a user in a seated upright position without the need for an internal frame structure. The arm portions are configured to extend outward when the chair is not in use to give the appearance of the figure inviting the user to sit in the chair. The arms can be wrapped around the user when in the chair and are wide enough to cover a substantial portion of the user so as to serve as a blanket or cover.

Abstract: A wagon wheel bench is comprised of a frame that includes a pair of wagon wheels with hubs that mount over the ends of a beam. A seat is secured to the beam. Opposite ends of the seat are recessed to receive the wagon wheel hubs such that the wagon wheel spokes are flush against and are attached to the seat ends. A back is notched at its ends to fit over the rim and one spoke of each wagon wheel. The wagon wheel bench is stationarily supported on the ground by support blocks that receive and are fastened to the wagon wheels. In a swing-type wagon wheel bench, the wagon wheels are hung by a pair of chains from an overhead support. Each chain has a first end attached to the overhead support, and a second end that is attached to a wagon wheel.

Abstract: A seat for supporting an infant which may be configured to resemble a flower. The seat may also be used as a pet bed. The seat includes a center portion upon which the infant is seated with one or more side supports extending outwardly therefrom to substantially surround the infant. The side supports may be configured to resemble the petals of a flower (e.g., a rose, a daisy, a black-eyed susan, a sunflower, etc.) with the center portion being the center part of the flower. The seat is especially useful for an infant that cannot yet support themselves in a sitting-up position by stopping them from fully tipping over in any direction.

Abstract: A combined seat belt cover and pillow for use relative to a vehicular seat belt arrangement comprising an elongate seat belt cover for coupling to an elongate seat belt and a pillow coupled to the elongate seat belt cover adjacent to a first end of the elongate seat belt cover. The elongate seat belt cover and pillow can cooperate to simulate a head and a body of an animal wherein the pillow simulates the head of the animal and the elongate seat belt cover simulates at least a portion of the body of the animal. First and possibly second generally rigid widened portions of the elongate seat belt cover can simulate sets of legs of the simulated animal to disperse the force of the elongate seat belt relative to the vehicular occupant. A miniature simulation of the simulated animal can be retained by the elongate seat belt cover in a pocket, and a strip of ultra-smooth material can be affixed to the elongate seat belt cover and pillow.
