Abstract: A seat assembly for supporting a seat occupant in an automotive vehicle comprising a seat cushion for supporting the seat occupant on the seat assembly and a seat back extending longitudinally between a lower portion operatively coupled to the seat cushion and an upper portion. The seat back includes a front support surface for supporting the seat occupant in an upright position and a rear surface facing opposite the front support surface. A seat back panel is mounted to the rear surface of the seat back. A utility support member is operatively coupled to the seat back panel and moveable between a stowed position recessed against the rear surface of the seat back and a use position extending outwardly and cantilevered from the seat back panel for supporting a utility device thereon wherein said utility support member is rotatable about an axis generally perpendicular to the rear surface of the seat back for providing a plurality of use position within the vehicle.

Abstract: An umbrella holders a modified umbrella and a storage sheath all mounted on a wheelchair. The umbrella's lower end is modified with a threaded surface received in a hole of the umbrella holder. The umbrella holder is used to hold the umbrella in an upright position may be mounted to the frame structure of the transporter in different ways. One is to fit in the end of an transporter's arm rest where held by fasteners. Another is to clamp it around the arm rest and holder. If it is desired to mount the umbrella holder vertically, extensions configured in the shape of the arm rest may be used. The sheath is also mounted to the frame structure of the transporter. The sheath mounting can be done in several ways One is by plastic tie(s) around the sheath and around the frame structure. Another is by bolts that extend through the sheath into the transporter's seat or by a clamp structure.

An object holder and organizer includes a first side member, a second side member, a horizontally-extending member for supporting the objects, attached to the first side member and the second side member, and a rear member disposed behind the first side member, the second side member, and the horizontally-extending member, wherein the rear member represents at least an upper portion of a figure.

Abstract: A passenger chair or a group of passenger chairs, particularly in an aircraft cabin, is equipped with a convenience device that includes an open storage bail which can hold only flat articles but not waste material, and a waste container for holding waste material but not flat articles. The storage bail and waste container form either a mounting unit or retrofit kit or are separate components. In both instances the mounting unit and the separate components are secured to a back facing area of a chair or group of chairs. The separate components are preferably so constructed that individual retrofit kits are provided.
