The seat may be molded by disposing the seat base in a mold, and introducing settable foam into the mold so as to fill the portion of the mold not occupied by the seat base. The foam portion so produced conforms to the shape of the mold, such that a cavity may be formed by providing the mold with an internal projection. The seat may be removably attached to a vehicle using a quick-release mechanism, such as a pin and spring catch.

To leave, a guest places soiled slippers in a drawer inside the cabinet, dons their shoes, and returns to the street. Later, a homeowner retrieves the soiled slippers, cleans them, and returns them to the compartment for use by their next guests.

The opposing side members have a hollow or grooved channel to accept a portion of the attachment used to connect the attachment to the side member. The skin attaches to the frame through the use of the attachments by, for each side of the skin, sliding the portion of the attachments used to connect the attachment to the side member into the channel of the side member. Replacement of the skin is relatively easy and can be accomplished by unskilled persons by sliding the attachments out of the opposing side members.
