The seat base assembly includes a lower seat base assembly configured to be coupled to the floor base assembly, an upper seat base assembly pivotably coupled to the lower seat base assembly, and an actuator coupled to the lower seat base assembly and to the upper seat assembly. The actuator includes a retracted position in which the seat is located in a seated position and an extended position in which the seat is located in a tilted position, wherein the tilted position of the seat provides additional space for the wheelchair within the interior of the vehicle.

The electronic display is adjustably positionable both along the translation axis by movement of the first carriage, and about the first pivot axis by movement of the first pivot arm about the first pivot axis.

Abstract: A user assistance apparatus and system is disclosed. The apparatus and system may include a base and a platform rotatably positionable about the base. A lift assist chair may be disposed upon the platform, and handrails may be attached to the platform such that the handrails rotate with the platform. The handrails extend from the platform to define an entry, and the handrails are configured to assist a user as the user passes between the entry and the lift assist chair. Fixtures may be disposed in a generally curved arrangement to cooperate with the entry as the platform is rotatably positioned about the base. Related methods of use are also disclosed.

Abstract: A bench apparatus utilized with a hitch mechanism is disposed on the rear of vehicles. Specifically, the bench apparatus of the present invention, preferably having a quick-release hitch, may be disposed on the rear of a vehicle, such as a car, truck, tractor, or other vehicle, for allowing individuals to sit thereupon and be transported. The hitch apparatus allows quick and easy placement and removal of the same to the vehicle. Methods of using the same are further provided.

Abstract: A mountable child safety seat that can be mounted on a door and more preferably, either a bathroom stall door or a bathroom door. The child safety seat includes a number of support columns with adjustable inserts that can be used to accommodate bathroom doors of a wide variety of heights to allow an adult caregiver to secure the child safety seat to the door. The child safety seat includes a seat belt to ensure that the infant or toddler will be secure while using the child safety seat.

The system includes a camera that acquires an image of the passenger, and a gesture control module that generates activity data that includes at least one activity that the passenger is performing as recognized in the image of the at least one passenger acquired by the camera. The system further includes a smart control module that moves the seat back, positions the tray table, activates or deactivates the light source and performs combinations thereof based on the activity data.

Abstract: A seat assembly that is releasably secured to a floor, wherein the seat assembly is released from the floor by simply lifting the handle is provided. The seat assembly includes a latch assembly which releasably engages a platform such as a vehicle floor. The handle is configured to bear the load of the seat, and is also operable to actuate the latch so as to release the seat from the floor by simply lifting the seat by the handle. Thus only one motion is used to remove the seat from the floor. Further the operation of releasing the seat from the floor is inherent as it requires the user to merely lift the seat by the handle.

Each seat is carried by the surrounding support structure and is secured in plane by attachment to a trampoline leg that supports the jumping surface and the surrounding support frame. The seat structures are attachable to many known trampolines and provide seating outside of the jumping surface of the trampoline so that people can sit on the seats even while other people are jumping on the jumping surface and without obstructing the jumping surface.

The pin may serve as a sole or primary guide member in the support plate to guide the support plate into horizontal alignment with a latch mounted inside a beam. The beam holds the support plate in close but unlocked engagement by a lower groove, to resist loads imposed by an attached chair. A releasable latch inside the beam receives the pin to provide locked engagement between the support plate and the beam. The beam may be fastened to a vertical surface of a gaming machine or other object. The support plate and attached chair can be released from the beam by inserting a tool through a keyhole in the beam to release the latch, while pulling the support plate outwards.

In one example embodiment, a chair sled includes a sled body having a chair attachment connector disposed at a first end of the sled body and a cavity disposed at a second end of the sled body. A latching unit is disposed in the cavity of the sled body along with a spring that is configured to hold the latching unit in a locked position. A latch cover covers the cavity of the sled body. At least one of the latch cover or sled body includes an opening that allows an operator to manipulate the latching unit to an unlocked position.

Abstract: A standing aid for supporting a person and relieving leg fatigue while standing on a riser step. The standing aid comprises a seat capable of supporting a person standing on the riser step, a vertical stand having a top end secured to the seat and a mounting system secured to a bottom end of the vertical stand. The mounting system has a clamp having a first surface for extending over and in contact with a top surface of the riser step and a second surface for extending below and in contact with a bottom surface of the riser step. The first surface of the mounting system has a relatively small footprint in that it has a second predetermined width which is less than the first predetermined width of the riser step. This small footprint allows people to maneuver around the standing aid while moving on and off the riser step.

The engine cover is a member that covers the engine. A rear face of the hydraulic oil tank and a front face of the engine cover are the same size in a widthwise direction. A rear end of an upper face of the hydraulic oil tank is positioned at the same height as a front end of the upper face of the engine cover. The upper face and side faces of the hydraulic oil tank are exposed to outside.

The vertical column is adjustable in height between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position. The vertical column holds the seat in a position facing the gaming machine. However, when the vertical column is in its fully retracted position, the seat can be turned ninety degrees to facilitate a person entering or exiting the seat. A locking mechanism joins the base platform to the gaming machine. Authorized personnel can only open the locking mechanism.

Abstract: A fence-mounted, collapsible spectator seat includes a compact and durable seat that is designed to fit onto or hang from fence panels. The assembly is produced from sturdy yet lightweight material and includes a hooked backing with an integrally attached seating area. The assembly is telescopically adjustable in length. A back base member has a U-shaped mounting hook attached at its top end. A second U-shaped mounting hook is attached at the bottom end of the back base member. The seat extends from the bottom of the base member at an oblique angle and is attached thereto by a seat stem. The seat is padded and is swivel mounted to the seat stem.

Abstract: A chair that can be mounted to a bleacher comprises a dual-pivot structure to enable movement of a seat between an up position, wherein the seat compactly fits within the bleacher envelope, and a down position, wherein the seat is substantially aligned with the bleacher and located at a suitable seating height. The chair includes single-piece, injection molded bleacher bases, which are composed of a “no-break”, fade-resistant plastic and include strategically positioned strengthening ribs. Additional embodiments of the chair comprise a clip-on bleacher base for removably mounting the chair to the bleacher and riser bases and floor bases that can be affixed to a riser portion and a floor portion, respectively, of a step structure.

Abstract: A foldable seat for a bleacher seating arrangement includes a mounting frame fixedly attached to or secured to a deck or platform of the bleacher seating arrangement, a seat portion attached to the mounting frame, and a back portion or backrest pivotally attached to the mounting frame and/or seat portion. The backrest is pivotable between an upright position, where a person may sit at the seat portion and may lean back against the back portion, and a folded down position, where the backrest may lay generally on top of or at least partially over the seat portion. The back portion or backrest may be substantially freely pivotable between the upright and folded down positions. The bleachers may be retracted to a nested position when the backrests or back portions are in their folded down position.

The removable seats system further includes a number of seat elements each associated with a corresponding platform and each including: a row of seats including at least one seat; and a seat supporting structure carried by a platform and supporting the row of seats. Each one of the seat members is movable relative to its corresponding platform between an operative position in which the row of seats is located above its corresponding platform, and a concealed position in which the row of seats is located under a platform.

The seating unit is designed with seats mounted to a support frame, the support frame having portions which rest squarely atop the vehicle's bed surface, white upper portions of the frame juxtapose and reversibly attach (using pins and cotter keys, nuts and bolts, or other reversible attachment means) to the upper margins of the vehicle's bed fence. Seats are securely attached to and supported by seat supports which extend from the portions of the support frame which attach to the vehicle.

Abstract: An ice shelter modular seating system includes a base unit, one or more seat mount units and one or more seat leg units. The base unit is a generally rectangular tub-like member having a front wall and a floor. The floor includes a longitudinally extending and integrally formed track. This track is functionally adapted to receive the lowermost portion of the seat leg units in it, the track being used to restrain the seat leg units from front to back movement relative to the base unit front wall. A seat mount unit is removably attachable to the base unit front wall and is configured to rest upon the seat leg unit. In this fashion, seat mount units can be positioned along the base unit as desired or required in an almost infinite number of positions and combination of positions, with placement of the seat mount units being be made quickly and easily.

Abstract: Apparatus to provide an overhead support for suspending hanging furniture includes a base configured for attachment to a vehicle trailer hitch receiver. An upright member extends upwardly from the base and at least one support member extends outwardly from the upright member a sufficient distance to receive and suspend a hanging chair. Preferably, two support members are provided and extend outwardly from the upright member in different directions from one another so that two hanging chairs can be supported in normal hanging condition spaced from one another and from the upright member. The support members are preferably removably mounted to the upright so that the apparatus can be disassembled for easy transportation and storage. At least one of the support members is preferably rotatably mounted to the upright member so its orientation can be rotatably adjusted in relation to the upright member.

Abstract: A tree stand with adjusting features allowing it to remain level in use. The invention includes two main subassemblies—a lower foot platform and an upper seat platform. The foot platform features a pivotally attached foot rest portion which can be adjusted in pitch. The seat platform includes a rotating seat with a pitch pivot located underneath. The seat's pitch is infinitely adjustable without affecting its rotation about the yaw axis. The seat platform also includes two telescoping climbing arms which the user can grasp when moving the two platforms up a tree. These climbing arms can be stowed once the stand is in position for use.
