Abstract: A travel blanket is placed upon an infant in a car seat. The travel blanket has contoured sleeves and an open back construction, as well as stabilization means for securing the base section of the blanket onto an outer, exterior bottom portion of the seat. With these features, the travel blanket can be readily donned upon an infant that is buckled within a car safety seat without the need to adjust safety straps. The travel blanket includes a base section constructed with a base periphery integrated with the base stabilization means. Lateral sections of the travel blanket further include lateral perimeters appointed for aiding in securing the lateral sections over the infant, without wrapping the torso of the infant. Contoured arm sleeves provide enhanced safety to infants. The sleeves snuggly fit over the infant's wrists and do not have loose flowing material about the arms and wrists, which could present a suffocation risk.

Abstract: A disposable child seat cover formed of a single sheet of preferably plastic material, which can be dispensed from a continuous web of material forming multiple disposable child seat covers, is provided. The disposable child seat cover has two central expandable leg openings and two opposing longitudinal perforations divided by bisecting perforations. The perforations allow the user to easily create two front ties and two back ties from the longitudinal sides of the single sheet. The ties are utilized to secure the disposable child seat cover to a public child seat, such as a shopping cart seat or high chair. The disposable child seat cover is designed to effectively protect the child from germs and grime, while being sufficiently economical to allow retail establishments to provide complimentary disposable child seat covers to their customers.

Abstract: An apparatus for wrapping a person sitting in a wheelchair having foot pedals includes a sheet having a top, bottom, right, center and left. The center has a first upwardly-open pocket and one of the right and left has a second upwardly-open pocket. The sheet is placed on a wheelchair with the pedals in the first pocket. A person can sit on the sheet on the wheelchair. The portion of the sheet having the second pocket is wrapped around the person's legs with the person's feet in the second pocket, and the final portion is wrapped around the person's legs.

Abstract: A system and method for supporting articles is generally provided for use, with a seat, such as a child's safety seat or stroller, having a seat surface and at least one restraining member that extends outwardly from the seat surface. The system may be provided with a support member having one or more pocket members for holding the articles. An aperture may be formed through the support member through which the restraining member may be passed to limit movement of the support member across the seat surface when the system is placed on the seat. In one aspect, the pocket members may at least partially depend from one or more side portions of the seat, with or without the use of a support member.

Abstract: A child seat liner provides a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment for a child seated in a seat such as a shopping cart or a highchair. Child seat liners according to various embodiments of the invention include padding around the leg openings, multiple storage areas for the caregiver, a continuous, elastic front edge for stretching over and gripping a handle of a shopping cart or a front of a seat, one or more sets of fasteners for securing the liner in a rolled-up position, and an adjustable strap that allows the liner to be secured to the back of the seat more securely.

The choice of battery power or power via the cigar plug of an auto yields widespread user choices. After setting the initially desired temperature of the heating elements, the temperature is easily moved up or down via the touch control temperature increase and temperature decrease. The seat cover can be used with or without the blanket. While the apparatus is ideally suited for fit to a portable child seat, it may nonetheless by used in any desired application to warm and shelter a child, whether in or out of a seat. The flexible seat cover, blanket, and collapsible accordion shield provide compact portability.

A wide body belt is attached to the inside of the back panel that encircles the child's torso like a cummerbund helping to keep the child upright and centered. The body belt includes two overlapping straps with hook-and-loop fasteners. A secondary, child-resistant connector overlies the body belt and prevents the child from releasing the body belt. A crotch connecter on the front of the liner attaches to the crotch bar on the chair or cart. This prevents the bottom of the liner from being pulled up inadvertently when the child is lifted out of the seat. A back flap wraps around the back of the seat. Side flaps have convenient pockets, and a front flap doubles as a crumb catcher.

The front and back portions are each constructed of a plurality of tapering tubular-shaped structures extending from the top edge towards the crotch area, with the crotch portion lacking any padding. The inventive protective device fills the gap between the infant's torso and any seating enclosure into which the infant is placed, so as to reduce the chance for injury due to sudden and rapid movement against the enclosure.

Abstract: A single-use disposable sanitary cover temporarily houses a portion of a seat and mitigates virus and germ contact on a person's body. The disposable sanitary cover includes a flexible elongated sleeve having an outer shell, an interior cavity and an elongated slit forming a rim equipped with a stabilizing means integrally associated therewith. The stabilizing means is preferably an elastic band or segment that engages with the rear of the back support and seat areas of the chair to secure the elongated sleeve in place. The chambers or pads are inflated or deflated to permit the chambers or pads to be adjusted to the size of the occupant of the seat. The assembly includes a device to indicate the correct inflation pressure. The chambers or pads are fluidly interconnected to distribute fluid throughout the assembly to help absorb the impact of the head of the occupant. The chambers or pads can be secured to an existing seat to afford additional protection or can be incorporated into the seat during the manufacture of the seat. An inflatable body restraint can also be provided to help protect the occupant of the seat.

Abstract: An insert for protecting the breathing airway of an infant conforms to the incline angle of an infant seat, such as a car seat, high chair, stroller, or jogger. Preferably the insert is hinged so it can be used in an infant seat or laid flat for use on a changing table or other flat surface. In use, two side rolls contact the infant to prevent it from moving sideways. A bottom roll prevents slouching in the seat and supports the infant's legs when laid flat. Preferably, the bottom roll is removable so the insert may be used with larger infants who do not need the provided support. An adjustable shoulder roll extends between the side rolls and can be moved up or down for proper placement behind the infant's shoulders. The shoulder roll compensates for the infant's rearward-elongated head, keeping it in a natural position to avoid compromising the airway. The rolls are preferably made of memory foam and covered by machine-washable fabric.

The child safety chair cover comprises a chair cover portion having a pocket configured to be positioned over the back of a chair. Additionally, the child safety chair cover comprises tie straps attached with the chair cover portion and the harness portion.
