Abstract: A folding chair includes front and rear supports that fold and/or retract into central beams to reduce the space occupied by the chair in a folded configuration. A backrest is coupled to the central beams with a hub that allows an angle of the backrest relative to the central beams to be selected and for the backrest to be folded flat relative to the central beams. One or more actuators and pin actuators may control the relative movements of the backrest, front support, rear support, and central beams.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention provide seating devices having an armrest with a triangular cross-section that twists along its length to provide a support surface with increased comfort to the occupant, in addition to making the chair strong and durable. The seating device of the present invention may also be stackable.

Abstract: A chair having a tiltable seat for convenience and safety for elderly, infirm or injured users. The seat is mounted on an axle to allow the seat front edge to tilt downwardly for ingress and egress purposes and for sitting, the seat will tilt downwardly at the seat rear edge. Cantilevered ends on the chair arms assist in gripping and a footrest is attached to the legs of the chair for user convenience.

Abstract: A chair with water basins for heat strain reduction purpose is disclosed. The chair is provided with built-in or attachable water basins at the armrest level for the user to immerse his forearms and hands in the basins while seating on the chair. Another embodiment of the chair provides foot basin module detachably coupled to the chair with or without the hand basins, thereby enabling the user to immerse his feet in the water to enjoy the cooling effect. In the event where the user is standing up, the invention also teaches a hand and/or foot pool system so that an individual user or multiple users can immerse their extremities in water to cool off the body core temperature while standing up.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a furniture including multiple rods, wherein a first rod has a first end rotated about a support shaft, and a second end formed with a first rod end corresponding to a second rod end of a second rod. A positioning base mounted on the second rod end has a locking groove. A fitting base mounted on the first rod end defines a receiving chamber having a wall formed with an opening. A locking base has a locking plate extended into the receiving chamber through the opening. The locking plate is formed with a locking hole. Two elastic member are mounted between the fitting base and the locking base, so that the locking base is normally moved outward.
