Abstract: Sofa frame and assembled sofa, comprising back boards, side boards connected to back boards, and face board connected to side boards; said side boards are relatively configured on the two sides of the back board; the two sides of the face board are respectively connected to the side boards on both sides; said face board comprises at least two folding blocks and hinges connected to the folding blocks. In the above-mentioned sofa frame, as hinges are used to connect adjacent folding blocks, the face board becomes a folding structure. Thus, during transportation, the folded face board occupies less space to reduce transportation cost.

Abstract: A removable cushion for a chair having an outer surface and an inner foam, as well as at least one magnetic member. The inner foam and the outer surface are formed from the same polymer, with the outer surface forming an integral skin over the inner foam. The outer surface defines an upper surface and a lower surface. The lower surface is structurally configured to be positioned in an abutting relationship with a seating surface of a chair. The at least one magnetic member is embedded within one of the outer surface and the inner foam, the at least one magnetic member positioned closer to the lower surface than the upper surface of the outer surface. A chair having the cushion, and a mold is likewise disclosed, as is a method of manufacturing the cushion.

A shoulder support portion of the seat back configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand when air is supplied. When the air cell expands, one end portion of the shoulder support portion on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle seat moves more forward than the other end portion of the shoulder support portion on the inside in the width direction.

Abstract: Electrified lounge furniture formed from joined furniture sections. Each furniture section includes a lounge back, a seat and a base. The seat is designed to be selectively pivotable away from the base. When the furniture sections are joined to each other, an electrical wiring assembly extends between the furniture sections to provide electrical power to each of the furniture sections. Each of the furniture sections includes at least one electrical outlet. The electrical wiring assembly is received on the base of each of the furniture sections and is concealed beneath the seat during normal usage. When the user desires access to the electrical wiring assembly, one or more of the seats can pivot away from the base to provide access to the electrical wiring assembly. After the electrical wiring assembly has been accessed, the seat can pivot back into contact with the base where it is securely held to both the base and the lounge back.

The device has a top plate connected by a resilient member to a base support plate so that the base support plate can support the movable top plate so that when a user sits down on a piece of furniture made of individual joining sectional members the user will not feel discomfort from the space between the two pieces of furniture. The device is installed over adjacent frame members of the furniture.

The assembled furniture also includes a plurality of cushions disposed within respective inner compartments of the cover, where the plurality of cushions are confined in the inner compartments by the plurality of dividers. The plurality of inner compartments may include a back inner compartment, a left arm inner compartment, a right arm inner compartment, and a bottom seat compartment. The left arm inner compartment may be adjacent to an end of the back inner compartment. The right arm inner compartment may be adjacent to an opposite end of the back inner compartment. The bottom seat compartment may be disposed below at least the back, left arm, and right arm inner compartments. The assembled furniture is easily compressible and highly transportable.

It is designed to be installed over the factory installed lid and is held in place with an elastic band or drawstring sewed on the underside of the fitted fabric piece to keep the fabric protector from slipping. It can be made with or without an added sleeve pocket sewed to the top side as in the sketches. Abstract: A sectional sofa and method of assembly provides ease and convenience in the manufacture and use. The sectional sofa includes a central section having a seat and a pair of backs positioned approximately ninety degrees to each other forming a V-shaped opening therebetween. Affixed on each side of the central section is a side section which includes a back frame that can be easily inserted or removed into a seat frame as needed. End sections having a back frame, seat frame and an arm frame are affixed to each side section. Each back includes a pair of stakes which are slideably engaged within rectangular apertures in the seat frame for ease in manufacturing and stability in use. Additional standard bolts connect each section together for safety and convenience. The central section V-shaped opening allows for simplicity during construction and adds to the aesthetic qualities of the sofa design.

Abstract: A connector assembly is used to connect subassemblies such as parts of a knockdown or modular sofa or similar item of furniture. The furniture item can be an upholstered item in which the multiple components are stackable into a volume that is smaller than the assembled item of furniture for shipping. The connector assembly includes a keyhole slot on a frame member in one component and a male connector assembly on a frame member in the other assembly. The male connector includes a sleeve with a cylindrical shank and an adjacent enlarged or conical portion, and the sleeve, which may be plastic, is mounted the bolt. The narrow section of the keyhole slot has a beveled surface and as the sleeve progresses into the narrow section, engagement of the conical sleeve section with the beveled slot surface tightens the two members being attached.

Abstract: A knock down furniture system is presented. The furniture uses joints which bend or twist a panel when inserted into an adjoining panel to place the joint under stress and stiffen the joint. Preferably, tabs are used in combination with offset or rotated slots to achieve the same. The system allows for furniture which does not require fasteners or tools and which is easily assembled while still being stable. Parts of the furniture can be interchanged within a piece of furniture or between different pieces of furniture to customize the configuration of the furniture.

Abstract: An aircraft seat includes a seat bottom frame, a seat translation and rotation mechanism attached to the seat bottom frame allowing translation and rotational movement of the seat bottom frame. An armrest is removably attached to the side of the seat bottom frame, and can be set to different positions relative to the seat bottom. The armrest has a seat control mounted to an outside of the armrest, and an input transfer mechanism disposed inside the armrest. The input transfer mechanism has an end engaged to the seat control, and a receiver end. The input transfer mechanism is cable-less. A couple shaft is engaged with the receiver end and engaged with the seat translation and rotation mechanism. When the seat control is actuated, the input transfer mechanism causes the seat translation and rotation mechanism to allow the seat bottom frame to at least one of translate and rotate.

Abstract: This invention concerns a sofa which solves the problems of the prior art by providing a sofa that can easily be assembled or disassembled by the end consumer at home. The disassembled sofa can be stored in 3 flat boxes. Storage in the flat boxes not only helps the warehouse to store the sofa, but when the end user has purchased the sofa it is easier in such flat boxes to transport it to the location where it will be assembled. The way this invention accomplishes these results is as follows: The parts of the sofa can be broken down into three boxes. Chaise sections can be assembled by placing the seat back flat on the ground and placing the seat frame/arm upright on top of the seat back. A metal threaded rod is used to connect the seat frame and the seat back. A metal nut is used to secure the seat frame to the back using a wrench that comes provided in the package of the kit. The legs are then twisted onto the bottom of the seat frame.

The postural system according to the invention provides a supporting structure comprising a flat base plate (10) and a plurality of modular blocks (20a-20f, 30a-30d, 40a-40f, 50a-50e, 80a-80b) intended to support various segments of the user's body (legs, pelvis, spine and so on). The number, shape, size and orientation of the said modular blocks can be suitably selected to obtain a perfect fit for the user's shape (whether male or female) and encourage perfect housing of the body and a correct weight distribution over the entire surface of the seat.
