The adjustment device is mounted on one side of the chair and connects to the corresponding seat bar, armrest and footrest bar and has a clamp, an arm post and an adjustment bolt. The clamp is mounted on the armrest. The arm post connects pivotally to the armrest and the footrest bar and is mounted slidably through the clamp. The adjustment bolt is mounted movably through the clamp and selectively presses against the arm post to allow the chair to rock and recline safely.
