Vibrator Means To Facilitate Removal Of Material Patents (Class 298/1V)
  • Patent number: 5273164
Abstract: This invention provides a soil conditioning apparatus having a shaker screen assembly that is mounted for operation on the dump bed of wheeled load-carrying vehicles. The shaker screen assembly may be adapted to operate either electrically or hydraulically using available systems on the vehicle and to operate with multiple soil conditioning screens to provide multiple stages of soil conditioning. The conditioned soil materials are deposited directly into the vehicle bed for transport to and dump-delivery at the site or location where it is needed, and this, without having to remove the apparatus from the transporting vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4999021
Abstract: For the continuous dosed unloading of bulk piece goods from containers, especially containers whose weight in the loaded state is many times the weight when empty, the device has the following features:(a) a stationary machine frame;(b) a vibrating frame which is movable with respect to the machine frame;(c) devices for connecting said machine frame and said vibrating frame;(d) a receiving platform which is provided on the vibrating frame and has devices for securing the containers on the receiving platform;(e) a low-frequency vibration drive arranged at an incline with respect to the vibrating frame for vibrating the vibrating frame; and(f) the vibration device regulating the vibration amplitude in a predetermined amplitude range limiting the vertical acceleration component of the vibration to about 2 g.

  • Patent number: 4484852
Abstract: A bottom unit for a material transportation car hopper includes a planar membrane which is oriented at an angle with respect to horizontal and slopes toward a hopper discharge pipe. The bottom unit is separate from the discharge pipe. The bottom unit includes a vibrator for vibrating the membrane, and projections on the membrane for agitating the material adjacent the membrane.

  • Patent number: 4175906
Abstract: An automatically actuated hydraulically powered vibrator system for loosening the contents of a semi trailer dump body so that it will break away at its natural dumping angle. The semi trailer dump includes a hydraulic pump which delivers hydraulic fluid under pressure to extend a telescoping hydraulic cylinder to raise the dump body to a dumping position. An adjustable normally closed pressure relief valve is set to open when the pressure in the cylinder reaches a predetermined level corresponding to a dump body angle a few degrees less than the normal dumping angle for the commodity being dumped. When the valve opens, hydraulic fluid is pumped to a hydraulic motor which drives a vibrator which is bolted to the dump body. The vibrator loosens the material being dumped and prepares it to slide out of the body at its natural dumping angle.

  • Patent number: 4070059
Abstract: A low profile material carrier which, in a preferred embodiment, comprises a grain trailer with a low rear opening for dumping. Most of the load, approximately 80%, dumps through the opening under the influence of gravity. The remaining portion of the load is assisted through the opening by a unique vibrator assembly attached to an interior sloping surface of the trailer. The assembly includes an elongated vibrator bar, which extends the length of and is parallel to the downwardly sloping surface of the trailer which leads to the opening. A motor driven shaft having a plurality of eccentric weights positioned thereon is located intermediate the vibrator bar and the inclined bottom surface and is attached to the bar by a plurality of bearings. Upon actuation of the motor, the shaft, and hence the bar, are vibrated so as to serve as a direct stimulus for the emptying of the material in contact therewith.
