Variable Bolt Patterns Accommodating Means (e.g., Inserts) Patents (Class 301/35.631)
  • Patent number: 11104558
Abstract: A load wheel assembly is provided comprising: a frame member; a side plate coupled to the frame member; an axle extending between the frame member and the side plate; and a keeper coupled by a fastener to the frame member or the side plate. The keeper is coupled to one end of the axle to prevent rotational and axial movement of the axle relative to the frame member and the side plate.

Abstract: A wheel for use on a vehicle includes a wheel rim and a wheel disc associable to each other. The wheel disc includes a central portion that has a region for accommodating a wheel hub of the vehicle. At least six fixing bores are concentrically arranged around the central portion. The fixing bores include a first set of bores that define a first circumference having a first diameter and a second set of bores that define a second circumference having a second diameter different from the first diameter. The wheel is associated to the wheel hub of the vehicle by direct association of at least three fixing elements with the first set of bores or the second set of bores.

Abstract: Provided is a method of fitting a tire-and-wheel assembled body to an axle, which is capable of resolving imbalance in a state of fitting an assembled body including a tire and a wheel to an axle. In this fitting method, a tire is fitted to a wheel, and then core positions of fastening holes are, or a core position of a hub hole is, adjusted in the wheel to minimize an amount of eccentricity of an assembled body including the tire and the wheel.

  • Patent number: 6626502
Abstract: A wheel adaptor plate system for permitting mounting of a wheel rim onto a hub having a different lug bolt pattern. The wheel adaptor plate system includes a plate member comprising a plurality of mounting apertures extending through the plate member. The plate member is designed for being coupled to the hub whereby each of a plurality of lug bolts extend through one of the mounting apertures. Each of a plurality of stud members is selectively extendable through one of the mounting apertures of the plate member for being selectively extendable through holes in the wheel rim. Each of a plurality of nut members is selectively coupled to one of the stud members for securing the wheel rim between the nut members and the plate member when the wheel rim has a pattern of holes different than the pattern of the lug bolts of the hub.
