Thus, the shelving unit can be assembled and disassembled without using tools, thereby facilitating a user assembling the shelving unit. In addition, the shelving unit can be folded into a smaller volume and reduces the cost of packaging, transportation and storage of the shelving unit.

Each drawer can be collapsed by moving the bottom board away from the bottom to allow the second sidewalls to be folded inward. Preferably, two half-wall boards are embedded in each second sidewall.

Each pop-it fastener is composed of a countersunk tube and a stud. The countersunk tubes are pressed into head holes in panels, and the studs are screwed into and extend from base holes in the foldable frame and align with corresponding head holes in the panels. The studs extending from the base holes are pressed respectively into the countersunk tube in the head holes. Thereby, the panels are conveniently mounted on the foldable frame without using any tools. Moreover, the foldable frame can be folded to reduce the size of the disassembled DIY cabinet.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a drawer box having an integrated file hanging system. A hanger track is provided with a barbed mounting rib for engagement into a groove cut into the long edge of a blank. A vinyl laminate is applied to the blank over the top edge and the face that will become the exterior face of the drawer box and the hanger track is pressed into the groove. The drawer blank is processed through the V-groover with the hanger track already in position along the top edge, to mitre the drawer track at the same time as the drawer sides. In the preferred embodiment a bead is formed along the top edge of the mounting track and the cross bar is provided with a complementary hook structure, so that it can be positively engaged to the mounting track.
