Abstract: A molded plastic tackle box is adapted for use by fishermen to store and transport items of tackle, bait, fishing accessories and other equipment. The box has a selectively movable storage deck adapted to temporarily and safely hold a limited number of such items. The storage deck may be mounted in the box during normal usage and transportation of the box. However while fishing, the storage deck may be mounted outside of the box on the side wall of the box. When the deck is so mounted, the lid of the box may be closed so as to prevent rain water and other casual water from getting into the box and to preclude the spillage of the contents of the box if it would happened to be bumped or tipped over.

  • Patent number: 4643495
Abstract: The subject matter of the invention is a mechanical cabinet with a paternoster-like circulating conveyor comprising two endless chains (1, 2), a multiplicity of pull-out shelves (17) for receiving industrial articles, for example, and affixed with their end walls to the two endless chains (1, 2) at predetermined equal distances by way of pairs of supporting arms (7, 8), and stationary guide rails (18, 19) on the narrow sides of the cabinet composed each of two vertical sections (20) and an upper and lower arcuate section (21, 22), said rails guiding guide members (10) rigidly mounted to the end walls of the shelves (17). With such mechanical cabinets problems arise regarding safe and smooth guidance of the endless chains and the shelves, particularly when the latter are non-uniformly loaded.

  • Patent number: 4368937
Abstract: The mechanism allows the bin to be manually moved from a stowed position to a loading position, and requires support arms which are mounted with self-aligning bearings for proper operation. The bearing has three parts: an interior bin mounted needle bearing axle unit; an exterior bin mounted nut; and an axle retainer unit in the arm. Installation and repair are accomplished from the interior of the bin by the turning of the bearing axle bolt which is threaded unto the arm, and upon disconnection from the arm is automatically gripped by a retainer washer for retention inside of the needle housing while the bin is in its loading position and momentarily arrested by a pin connecting both arms. Self-aligning and linear control is accomplished by the substantially wide needle bearing housing providing full support to the solidly mounted axle bolt.
