Abstract: In one aspect, a collapsible basket set may include a plurality of baskets, a base, and a pair of connecting members on two opposite sides of the baskets, wherein each connecting member has a plurality of connecting units to form one or more quadrilateral connecting structures pivotally connecting with each other so the basket set begins to collapse when each quadrilateral connecting structure becomes flattener, and the basket set totally collapses when the quadrilateral connecting structures disappears. In one embodiment, each connecting member includes a locking bar to secure the basket set when it is fully extended.

The bottom plate (6) with the insert (8) can be moved between a first position inside the oven and a second swing-out position below and in front of the over front wall (2). The inventive device includes a rack dimensioned for being received within a dishwasher. The rack is adapted for holding dishes and flatwares therein. A pair of lower tracks are provided with each having a pair of forward wheels and a pair of rearward wheels extending downwardly therefrom. The wheels are slidably received within opposed door tracks of a door of the dishwasher. A pair of scissor-action support assemblies extend between the pair of upper tracks and the pair of lower tracks. Lower ends of the support assemblies are coupled with the lower tracks. A forward lower end is pivotally coupled with the lower track. A rear lower end has a roller disposed thereon for being slidable within the lower tracks. Abstract: The present invention includes a concealable enclosure table which has a rotatable moveable enclosure having an open position and a closed position. The table also has a flange coupled to the enclosure. The flange has a notch. A slideably mounted latch pin with a beveled face engages the flange to hold the enclosure in the closed position. The latch pin also passes through the notch to release the flange to allow the enclosure to move from the closed position to the open position. The pin has a projected position and a retracted position.

Abstract: A cryostat microtome apparatus comprises a cooling enclosure which can be set to a predetermined internal temperature and a microtome disposed in the enclosure. The enclosure is supported on a support assembly which is vertically adjustable to permit stepless adjustment of the height of the enclosure, for adaptation to operator requirements. A mechanical actuating assembly and/or a gas spring assembly is provided for height adjustment of the apparatus.

Abstract: A top loading clothes washer adapted for installation under a fixed or stationary upper structure such as a stacked dryer or countertop wherein the washer is pivotable to a forward tilt-out position providing access to the top and wherein a washer lid in sliding engagement with the top is automatically opened as a result of the tilt-out movement of the washer. Apparatus connected to the lid restrains its forward movement so that it is prevented from moving out from under the dryer or countertop as the top of the washer tilts forward.

A reciprocating platform (28) is disposed in the receiving chamber (14) for reciprocation therein. A cord (30) is wrapped about the platform (28) and having one end thereof attached to a point (32) on the rim (24) of the housing and the other end thereof wound about a pulley (36) for rotation therewith. The pulley (36) is attached to a shaft (38) in the auxiliary chamber (16) which is rotatable with a knob (40). A lid (18) is mounted on the housing (12) with a hinge (20) to provide an airtight seal thereto. Food disposed in the receiving chamber (14) can be dispensed by raising the platform (28) and then stored by closing the lid on the remaining food products therein.

Abstract: A wing contained emergency descent system incorporates a plurality of bays positioned within the wing structure of an aircraft. Each bay opens upwardly and outwardly of the wing through the upper surface thereof and supports a tray positioned within the bay. The tray contains one or more parachute packs and is positioned to be elevatable through the actuation of a pair of doors. The doors form a part of the upper skin of the aircraft wing and each includes an operating arm depending therefrom. The operating arm engages the tray such that the arm elevates the tray, and parachute pack thereon, into the air stream flowing over the wing when the panel or doors are opened.

Abstract: An ice tub (34) fits through a large opening in the top (20) of a cabinet, down into an interior space within the cabinet, and is supported at its bottom on the floor of such space. At its top, the ice tub (34) is flush with the top of the cabinet. A pair of panels (26, 28) are hinge connected (at 70) to the cabinet for movement between outwardly projecting counter-forming positions (FIG. 2) and closed positions (FIG. 1) in which they overlay the top (20) of the cabinet. A plurality of minor openings (22, 24) are formed in the top of the cabinet along one side and both ends of the tub. The side located openings (22) receive small containers (46) for condiments. The end located openings (24) receive containers (42) for alcohol beverage bottles (44).

Abstract: A railway passenger vehicle having a side wall mounted, modular shelving unit providing a convenience center for use in carrying or storing glasses, beverages and the like. The convenience center is a modular unit that may be assembled away from the vehicle and easily attached to a wall mounted seat rail during final assembly stages. The unit includes a mounting shell providing a trough that is attached to the seat rail and shaped to conform with the vehicle structure and also shaped to receive a number of storage or table top members that are suitable to receive various items frequently used by passengers. The trough portion of the convenience center includes a light which is powered by a cable that is carried in a hollow section and extends along the length of the convenient center. The light requires no external wiring to be connected through the walls and thus may be easily wired into the vehicle electrical system at the car ends as the convenience centers are installed.

Abstract: A dishwasher having a tank containing wash water disposed below a dishwashing compartment and means for removing water from the tank and forcing it through upper and lower revolving spray arms for washing the dishes, the wash water being returned to the tank by gravity. A hood overlies the top of the wash and rinse compartment and a door for closing the compartment is movable downwardly into the tank for opening the compartment, the weight of the door being yieldingly held in closed or open position by spring biased toggle joints that are positioned in the tank. A U-shaped member is removably secured to the hood that overlies the dishwashing compartment and this member acts as a door stop when the door is in its raised and closed position. A removal of the member from the hood permits the door to be removed from the dishwasher.

Abstract: A machine for washing articles which are of greater height than width dimension when supported by an article receiving rack includes a cabinet of generally rectangular horizontal cross-section capable of accommodating the horizontal dimensions of the rack. The cabinet defines a washing chamber and a front access opening of sufficient height to accommodate lateral movement of a rack containing upright articles into the washing chamber. A lower door is pivotally mounted on the cabinet adjacent to the lower edge of the access opening for movement from a vertical closed position to a horizontal open position. The lower door includes a rack supporting surface and is dimensioned to correspond in size to the rectangular horizontal cross-section of the cabinet. An upper door is mounted for vertical movement from a lower position covering the remaining upper portion of the access opening to an upper position uncovering the upper portion of the access opening.

Abstract: A mesh adapted to be lowered on a group of dishes contained in a work-basket of a dish washing machine. The mesh is limp and drapes from its weight over and around the dishes to maintain them as deposited and apart from each other. A mechanized application locates the mesh overhead in the dish washing machine, and causes it to be lowered automatically as stated on the insertion of the dish-loaded work-basket into the machine and raised back to the overhead position on the withdrawal of the work-basket.

Abstract: A terminal housing has top and bottom walls shaped as inverted pans, which support between them a forwardly-arched arrangement of terminal block panels providing a rear cable-connection space and a front service-connection face. A peripherally-continuous side-wall enclosure includes two doors which are hinged adjacent the rear of the panel arch and extend forward and across into overlapping relation at the front. A cap or cover having a depending peripheral flange is supported above the top wall by springs in a normally raised position in which it clears the doors and allows them to swing open. A manual actuating lever swings forward below the bottom wall and actuates linkage to move the cap downward to a closed position in which its peripheral flange overlaps the top edges of the doors to secure them closed. A latch finger on the actuating lever engages the edges of the doors to secure them closed at the bottom. The lever is padlocked in closed position.

Abstract: A bar table, the top of which is shaped as a polygon so as to fit an individual seat adjacent each side of the table. A storage section for bottles and glasses is mounted to the structure of the table top, which table top structure is slidably mounted in the table pedestal so that the table top structure may be elevated to expose the storage shelves or alternately, the table top structure may be slid inside the pedestal to enclose the shelf structure.
