Abstract: Provided herein is a system for automated dispensing of articles. Systems may include: a robotic arm; an end-of-arm tool attached to the robotic arm; a scanning device proximate the end-of-arm tool; and a controller to control the robotic arm and the end-of-arm tool. The end-of-arm tool may include a body and two or more vacuum cups extending from the body, where the controller controls a level of suction provided to each of the two or more vacuum cups individually. Each of the two or more vacuum cups extending from the body may be movable between a retracted position proximate the body, and an extended position away from the body of the end-of-arm tool in response to instruction from the controller. Suction may be provided only to the vacuum cups of the two or more vacuum cups that are disposed in the extended position.

Abstract: A panel system for closing and opening a merchandise space of a refrigerated cabinet includes multiple movable panels. Each panel is movable between an open position and a closed position. Two of the panel are connected to form a pair of panels. A return mechanism is arranged above the pair of panels and a pulling mechanism is guided over the deflection mechanism and connects the two panels in the pair. Each panel of the pair is disposed with respect to the deflection mechanism so that a movement of one panel in a first movement direction effectuates a movement of the second panel in a second movement direction. A refrigerated cabinet includes such a panel system.

The dishwasher (1) has at least one treatment zone (3) and at least one conveyor apparatus (6) for conveying the items of washware (2) to be cleaned from an introduction region (4) of the dishwasher (1) through the treatment zone (3) of the dishwasher (1) to a removal region (5) of the dishwasher (1), wherein the introduction region (4) of the dishwasher (1) is accessible from the second region (12) of the counter system (10) and the removal region (5) of the dishwasher (1) is accessible from the first region (11) of the counter system (10).

Abstract: A load platform configured for use as part of a tail lift on a vehicle is described, which includes a protector device in the form of a flexible sheet that is configurable, when the load platform is attached to a vehicle, to cover a gap between the tail lift and the vehicle. The protector device at a first end is anchored to the load platform by an elasticated fixing arrangement and at a second end is configured for attachment to a supporting structure of the tail lift or to a part of the vehicle to which the tail lift is attached. The protector device is oriented to cover a gap between the rear of the tail lift and the vehicle in a first position, and to occupy a plane substantially parallel to a main plane of the load platform in a second position.

In one example, the television mount concealer assembly can include a television mount and an adjustable concealer assembly for placement behind a wall-mounted television. The adjustable concealer assembly comprising a front panel, a rear panel, a first flexible sidewall, and a second flexible sidewall. The rear panel can be configured to be placed adjacent to a wall in which a television is mounted, and the front panel can be adjusted between a first position and a second position in order to expand and contract the adjustable concealer assembly.

The cutting board is configurable with the washing device in a variety of ways. The partition wall can be aligned with a longitudinal axis extending in the direction of travel of the aircraft. The general instrument is selected from a predetermined group of off-the-shelf instruments. The first size-specific instrument has a first size selected from predetermined sizes. The patient-specific instrument includes a three-dimensional contoured engagement surface configured to nest into a portion of a native anatomy in a single location. The surgeon-specific instrument is selected based on a surgeon preference and is a different instrument than the selected general instrument, first size-specific instrument, and patient-specific instrument.

In particular embodiments, the dispenser includes a pivotable wheel support that is adapted for: (A) supporting the cart's non-swiveled wheels; and (B) while supporting these non-swiveled wheels in respective, substantially fixed positions relative to the pivotable wheel support, pivoting from: (1) a first position in which the cart is positioned outside the dispenser; to (2) a second position in which the cart is positioned within the dispenser's interior. This may assist in loading the cart into the dispenser.

Abstract: A press brake tool cabinet with a downward opening transparent door. The door included a number of rectangular polycarbonate slats in frame members. The cabinet included a frame assembly and a number of drawers. Left and right door track systems are connected to the cabinet, and the door moves from an upper closed position in front of the drawers to an open position beneath and behind the drawers. Stop plates defined the position of the door in the open position and hanger plates supported and retained the door in the upper closed position. A pulley system facilitated movement of the door and a lock system maintained the door in the closed position.

Abstract: A roller shutter type storage container includes a container body, a roller shutter accommodating portion, a pair of guide grooves, and a roller shutter. Each of the guide grooves extends linearly in an opening of the container body and is curved in the roller shutter accommodating portion. The roller shutter is configured by connecting a plurality of slats each having shafts formed in the widthwise direction at two ends of the slat in a bendable manner. As the two shafts slide in the corresponding guide grooves, the roller shutter slides between an open position and a close position. Each one of the shafts is spaced from a vertical wall surface of the corresponding one of the guide grooves. A projection formed of soft material projects outward from each shaft of each slat in the widthwise direction and contacts the corresponding vertical wall surface in an elastically deformed state.

The enclosure contains one or more shelf stacks, where each shelf stack has multiple, easily adjustable, drawer-style shelves to form storage areas of various vertical dimensions. One may combine several shelf stacks to form a rotatable storage cylinder. Shelves used with either the fixed or rotatable shelf supports can be blocked by one or both doors to prohibit their repositioning.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a cable extension mechanism includes a housing and a plurality of cable tray segments adapted to retain elongate material therein, wherein each cable tray segment includes first and second cable trays. A sheave is disposed on an axle between the first and second cable trays thereby forming an extendable elbow. At least one wheel assembly is coupled to each cable tray segment to enable the tray segment to articulate between a first position wherein the elongate material is stored and has a first length shorter than an actual length of the elongate material and a substantially flat second position, thereby extending a length of the elongate material disposed thereon.

Each of the guide grooves extends linearly in an opening formed in the container body and is curved in the roller shutter accommodating portion. The roller shutter is configured by connecting a plurality of slats each having shafts formed at two ends of the slat with respect to the widthwise direction in a bendable manner. As the two shafts of each of the slats slide in the corresponding guide grooves, the roller shutter slides between an open position for opening the opening and a close position for closing the opening. Each one of the shafts is spaced from a vertical wall surface of the corresponding one of the guide grooves. A projection formed of soft material projects outward from each shaft of each slat in the widthwise direction and contacts the corresponding vertical wall surface in an elastically deformed state.

Abstract: The present invention is a bay for an aircraft galley that includes an extractor that retrieves objects from a compartment by slowly bringing the object forward using a free end. The free end is brought out of the compartment, carrying the object with it. The extractor is preferably a flexible sheet that is secured to the compartment and extends generally rearward to the rear wall. A pull cord may be attached to the free end to facilitate operating, and a mirror may be mounted to the compartment to provide the user with a view of the entrance to the compartment.

Abstract: A table or similar structure is provided having an expandable surface area arrangement where the usable or working surface area is retractable into and out of a housing along a curvilinear path that includes both horizontal and vertical components and wherein weight compensating structure is provided to offset the impact of vertical movement of the surface area. The usable surface is formed from an array of adjacent panels connected by a backing web which allows them to lie flush together when the surface area is retracted for use and to separate as needed to follow the curvilinear path when retracted into the housing for storage. The extent of movement into and out of the housing is variable according to the amount of surface area required in a given instance. When implemented into a dining table, for example, vertical support legs for one end of the table can be attached to the end panel of the surface area which is first withdrawn from the housing.

Abstract: Fiber-reinforced structures for use in forming support structures and electronic device housing members may include multiple types of fiber. A first portion of the structures formed from a first type of fiber such as glass fiber may be radio transparent. A second portion of the structures formed from a second type of fiber such as carbon fiber may be more rigid than the first type of fiber and may be radio opaque. The second portion of the structures may be used to selectively add strength to the fiber-reinforced structures. The first portion of the structures may be used to maintain radio transparency for compatibility with wireless electronic device operations. The fiber-reinforced structures may be formed by rolling a sheet of prepreg material that includes a first area with the first type of fiber and a second area with the second type of fiber.

Abstract: An electronic article surveillance (EAS) security apparatus is comprised of a housing, base plate, ribbon pad, and electrically conductive ribbons. In one embodiment, the ribbons pre-attached to the ribbon pad and extend from the ribbon pad. The ribbon pad and base plate on installed on opposite sides of an object to be protected. The ribbons are extended around the object and their extended ends attached to the base plate. The housing has electrical contacts and encloses electronics and is attached to the base plate so that the electrical contacts complete circuits through the ribbons. The electronics in the housing monitor the ribbons to detect unauthorized removal of the apparatus. A switch on the bottom of the housing detects that the housing is attached to a plate and object. The apparatus has a locking mechanism to maintain the housing and plate together, which can be released by application of a magnet.

Abstract: An electronic article surveillance (EAS) system is comprised of a first EAS housing and a second EAS housing, each having electrically conducting tethers and a cover to hold the housing in place on an object to be protected. The covers have a surface with adhesive on it. Each housing is placed in a cover with the tethers extending through the cover, and the adhesive surface is pressed to the object. Switches on the bottom of the housing indicate contact with an object. The housings have apertures for receiving the ends of the tethers which are extended from the housings and inserted into the apertures of the other housing to complete circuits between the housings. Electronics within the housings monitor the circuits and switches for tampering and can generate alarms. External devices may arm and disarm the housings via wireless communication. A magnet releases a blocking mechanism to remove the housings.

The exemplary collecting container additionally comprises a receiving device arranged to receive the objects and to convey them to a storage space in the collecting container, the storage space containing a filling-level measuring means that is connected to a blocking device preventing the receiving device from being opened when a defined filling level has been reached in the storage space, the receiving device comprising a roller shutter box whose receiving area is formed by at least two side walls and a bottom. The exemplary collecting container further comprises a roller shutter that is adapted to be moved in rails on the side walls, the blocking device being configured so that it can block the movement of the roller shutter.

At least one support element and at least one elastic layer disposed on the support element are included. Abstract: An apparatus for concealing a display of the flat panel type, and for supporting and extending the display to a viewing position. The apparatus includes a display cover that operates between a concealed position and a revealed position, and a display support that operates between a retracted position and an extended position. There is also a display support interlock that is coupled to disable operation of the display support when the display cover moves away from the revealed position, and a display cover interlock that is coupled to disable operation of the display cover when the display support moves away from the retracted position. A controller with a wireless remote is coupled to the components of the apparatus to enable remote operation thereof. A housing with decorative frame surrounds the flat panel display and presents a display opening. The display cover may be a fabric sheet that is furled from a motor driven roller within the display opening.

Abstract: A vehicle storage structure includes parallel tracks having a resiliently deformable lid detent configured and arranged to move between a lid latching orientation and a lid releasing orientation. A lid includes track engaging portions disposed on lateral edges of the lid and extending into the tracks for selective sliding movement along the tracks between a closed position and an open position. The track engaging portions and the deformable lid detents are configured and arranged to normally restrict movement of the lid when in the closed position. The track engaging portions and the deformable lid detents are further configured and arranged to move the deformable lid detents from the lid latching orientation to the lid releasing orientation in response to contact pressure applied to the lid at an area adjacent to the deformable lid detents.

Abstract: A hamper/sorter (15) for storing and sorting laundry which loads from the front with one or more openings is described. The hamper/sorter (15) is comprised of the main body and two moveable doors, one upper flexible door (5) that slides vertically and a lower rigid door (4) that can be stowed horizontally under the hamper/sorter (15). During operation, the doors adjust the front openings to allow for small or large laundry items to be loaded and unloaded for storing or washing. The upper and lower door edges that meet together are formed at an angle opposite of each other so that the upper door (5) overlaps the lower door (4). A stop plate (14) is installed on the upper door (5) to keep the doors in the normally closed position. This invention is versatile enough to be used as a hamper or sorter in any location that permits its mounting. One or more of these hamper/sorters (15) can also be mounted together in a horizontal row to provide a sorting system.

Abstract: A reversible wardrobe sliding door arrangement is constructed to include a wardrobe body and a reversible sliding door structure controlled to close/open a front opening of the wardrobe body, the reversible sliding door structure including a track disposed at one side of the front opening of the wardrobe body, a folding collapsible sliding door panel movable along the track to close/open the front opening of the wardrobe body, and a winding mechanism disposed at one side of the front opening of the wardrobe body perpendicular to one end of the track and adapted for winding up the folding collapsible sliding door panel to hold the folding collapsible sliding door panel in a received position where the front opening of the wardrobe body is opened.

Abstract: A storage unit for use in an office environment. The storage unit includes a structural frame having two opposing side panels, at least one laterally extending panel extending between and interconnecting the side panels to define an interior space. The frame includes a perimeter defining an access opening that provides access to the interior space. The storage unit includes a flexible cover having opposing side edges, a front edge, and a rear edge. The flexible cover is attached to the structural frame proximate said rear edge of said flexible cover. The flexible cover extends freely from the attachment to the frame. The flexible cover has an engagement feature which is selectively engageable with the frame at first and second locations on the frame. Engagement of the cover with the frame at the first location places the flexible cover in a closed position with the opposing side edges of the flexible cover extending proximate the perimeter defining the access opening.
