Abstract: A wall mounted multiple bar soap storage dispenser allowing for the storage and drainage of multiple soap bars in the bath or shower area in which multiple soap bars are placed in individual pivoting soap compartments accessible by opening the pivoting compartment, removing the bar soap and replacing the bar soap in the container for drainage and drying of the bar soap until its next use.

Abstract: A piece of furniture with a body part closeable by a two-wing folding sliding door (2,6) is provided, the upper wing (2) of this body part being hinged around a horizontal swivel axis to the top panel (1) of the body part and the lower wing (6) being connected in an articulated manner to the upper wing (2) and guided in guide rails (7) of side panels (8) of the body part by support parts (15) mounted in the region of its outer corners, wherein the guide rails (7) are mounted to the narrow front sides of the side panels (8).

Abstract: A sales counter has at least one merchandise compartment for keeping merchandise ready to be sold. The opening of the merchandise compartment is equipped on the service side with a board-like closing element which can be actuated, and which is engaged via at least one component located along one of its longitudinal edges. There is at least one associated, stationary component holder along an edge of the service-side opening. Each closing element comprises a flap element, whereby a component of the flap element is offset by a predetermined measure toward the service side versus the plane of the flap.

Abstract: A washing machine lid having a lid frame is provided with the lid frame including a forward edge, a rear edge, at least first and second opposite side edges, and upper surface and a lower surface. A housing is detachably mounted to the lid frame by a bracket assembly. The bracket assembly retentively engages the lid frame. At least one isecuring member retentively engages the housing and also retentively engages the bracket assembly for attaching the housing to the lid frame.

Abstract: A storage apparatus includes a storage unit defining a front opening, and a door configured to cover the front opening. The door is operably attached to the storage unit for movement between opened, intermediate, and closed positions. The storage apparatus further includes a handle that is isolated from the door but operably connected to the door for selectively manually moving the door between the opened, intermediate, and closed positions. The handle is conveniently located at a front center of the storage unit, under a bottom thereof, such that the handle can be easily grasped and operated by a seated person, such as a wheelchair-bound person.

Abstract: A coverplate storage device includes a threaded first portion and a second portion. The threaded first portion is screwed into the standard screw receptacle of a coverplate (either a switchplate cover or plug receptacle plate cover) and the second portion receives small items, such as key chains. The invention also includes a wall guard to protect the wall under the hanging items from damage. Other variations of coverplate storage devices are provided which are secured to the coverplate by the screw receptacle or held in place using the light switch or plug receptacle.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a magazine, containing multiple data cartridges, in a cartridge access port of an automated library. The magazine contains multiple cam followers that engage multiple cam profiles inside the cartridge access port. These cam followers and cam profiles allow the magazine to be positioned vertically for normal operation, and horizontally for installation and removal of individual cartridges. Each cam profile has an open end to allow the magazine to be completely removed from the cartridge access port. Cam profiles are established by grooves in the side walls of the cartridge access port, or by ridges protruding from those side walls. The cam followers are pins protruding from the sides of the magazine. In the alternative, the cam followers may be mounted inside the cartridge access port while the cam profiles are established on the magazine.

Abstract: A pair of spindles 2 are formed on both sides of an end of a housing body 1, and a pair of extended parts 5 facing each other, are formed on an end of a cover 4. On each opposite face of the extended parts 5, a hole 6 rotatively engaging with the spindle 2, a slope 7 guiding the spindle 2 to the hole 6 in mounting the cover to the housing body 1, and another slope 8 guiding the spindle 2 out from the extended part 5 in detaching the cover 4 from the housing body 1, are formed. Those elements enable the cover 4 to be mounted/detached to/from the housing body 1 with ease as well as free from damage.

Abstract: A chassis cover for a host unit of a computer system is disclosed. The chassis cover is preferably capable of covering a chassis which includes mountings for components which are movable in a direction. The chassis cover includes a first surface, and a movable side door having a closed position and an open position. The side door provides an opening in the chassis cover when in the open position to permit the mountings to be extended toward the opening when the side door is in the open position. By permitting the mountings to be extended toward an opening provided by the side door, the components within the host unit may be accessed and serviced without removing a heavy display monitor.

Abstract: An improved access top cover for a washing machine includes a top panel having a rear edge, first and second opposite side edges, and a front edge. The upper surface of the top panel includes a sloping surface commencing adjacent the front edge of the top panel and sloping upwardly and rearwardly toward the rear edge of the top panel. An access opening is provided in the top panel and a lip flange is positioned between the access opening and the front edge of the top panel. The lip flange forms a ridge which is located above both of the front edge of the top panel and the access opening.

Abstract: Display cabinet comprises a housing and a front door for closing the open front of the housing. The front door is connected to one of the housing walls for movement between the closed position and the opened position. The front door comprises a first panel member connected to the one housing wall for pivotal movement about a first axis, and a second panel member connected to the first panel member for pivotal movement about a second axis. The first and second axes are disposed generally parallel to each other such that when the front door is in the closed position, the first and second panel members lie in the same plane, and when the front door is in the opened position, the first and second panel members take an erected form of a V-shaped cross section which erected form has an edge extending along the second axis.

Abstract: A storage box apparatus includes a base member which includes a lock loop. First and second storage compartment assemblies are supported by the base member and include first and second compartment regions. Sliding trays are positioned over the compartment regions. Hinged covers cover the sliding trays. Lock bars extend downward from distal edges of hinged covers which prevent the sliding trays from sliding outward when the hinged covers are closed. A third storage compartment assembly is supported by the base member and is located between the first and second storage compartment assemblies along a longitudinal axis. The third storage compartment assembly includes a plurality of drawers arrayed along a vertical axis, wherein each of the drawers includes a drawer handle. Each of the drawer handles is in linear alignment with the other drawer handles and the lock loop.

Abstract: The invention provides exemplary systems and methods for releasably securing a data storage device within a data storage system. In one exemplary embodiment, the invention comprises a cabinet which defines an enclosure. The data storage device is removably held within the enclosure. A cover is further provided which comprises a pivot end and a latch end. The pivot end is pivotally attached to the data storage device so that pivoting of the cover will release the data storage device at least partially from the enclosure. A cover latch is operably attached to the latch end, with the cover latch engaging the data storage device to prevent pivoting of the cover when the cover is closed.

Abstract: Storage container for small articles. A storage container for small articles provides a stationary upright cabinet open at the front, one or more bins received in the cabinet and tiltable between an upright closed position and a forwardly tilting open position, and a latch secured to a front wall of the bin for locking the bin in the closed upright position. The cabinet includes a vertical back wall and vertical side walls which have lower edges that are adapted to rest on a horizontal supporting surface, and a bottom wall between these lower edges and directly above the supporting surface. Each bin includes a front wall and a bottom wall joined by a curved transitional surface, which has the curvature of a right circular cylinder. This curved transitional surface rolls along the upper surface of the bottom wall of the cabinet as a bin is moved from an open position to a closed position or vice versa. This rolling motion takes the place of a structure having a fixed pivot axis for supporting a bin.

Abstract: A tool-box. An upper and lower module are provided wherein the upper module extends laterally beyond the lower module so as to form an overhanging portion in the upper module. The overhanging portion includes apertures adapted to pass the shanks of elongate tools and retain handle portions thereof, thereby securing the tools while permitting the shanks to hang outside of both modules. The upper module includes a door adapted to swing upwardly, out of the way of the user, to an open position. The door includes hinged side portions that are adapted to swing upwardly, out of the way of the user when the door is in the open position.

Abstract: A protecting device for an electronic peripheral device, the protecting device having a front cover, mounted on a front surface of the housing for the electronic peripheral device and a door which is opened or closed depending on whether the peripheral equipment needs to be used. The door is pivotally connected to both sides of the front cover such that it protects the peripheral equipment from being damaged. A controlling device is are provided for controlling the opening speed and opening degree of the door.

Abstract: The invention relates to a retaining fastening for a flap pivotable around a horizontal swivel axis hinged to a top panel of a cupboard and having a lever pivotably connectable to a body part of the cupboard. A free end of the lever is guided in a rail which can be fixed to an inside of the flap at right angles to the swivel axis. The lever is acted upon by a spring-loaded device preferably having a rod which can be travelled into or out of a spring housing by pneumatic or elastic force.In accordance with the invention, the lever is a two-armed bent lever (8) whose swivel axis (7) is situated between the lever arms (9, 10), whose longer lever arm (10) is guided in the rail (17) and onto whose shorter lever arm (9) extending into the inside of the cupboard in the closed state of the flap (16, 32), one end of the spring-loaded device (5, 12) is hinged with other end being pivotably connected to the furniture body.

Abstract: An apparatus for operating a front door of a VCR to enable the front door to pivot inward and outward with respect to the VCR. The apparatus has a door supporting member integrally formed at ends thereof with a first pivot shaft and a second pivot shaft respectively, a first bracket for rotatably supporting the first pivot shaft, a second bracket for rotatably supporting the second pivot shaft, a first spring device for returning the door to an initial position where the door closes the cassette inlet, and a second spring device for pivoting the door inward. The first spring device has a first flange and a first spring, and the second spring device has a second flange and a second spring. The apparatus can simplify the structure of a VCR and can prevent a door and a VCR case from colliding with each other, thereby reducing the noise generated by the VCR.

Abstract: An enclosure for housing electronic controls and devices that provides exceptional access to all sides of the enclosure and is both secure and aesthetically pleasing. The enclosure has a frame, semi-cylindrical doors, a top assembly, and a mounting base. Each of the doors has a door retaining member on its inner lower surfaces which engages and is supported by a receiving member mounted to a lower portion of the frame. The doors may be pivoted open and closed about the retaining and receiving members or may be completely removed from the base by simply lifting the doors off of the frame. Removal of the doors allows unobstructed access to the interior of the enclosure. The top assembly mounts on top of the frame and moves between a closed position and an open position. The top assembly includes a rim which overlaps and engages the top surfaces of the doors to securely retain the doors in the closed position. An opening and closing system mounted on the frame supports the top assembly in the open position.

Abstract: An office coral has a wall that supports a desktop on which various items of office equipment are to be connected with power and data communication cables within the coral structure. A desktop raceway is secured to the wall or desk top and defines both a wireway for the connecting cables and a storage facility for the cabling normally provided on the equipment. The raceway is made up of two generally L-shaped extrusions, one a back plate, the second a cover. The cover has a front panel that defines a slot in cooperation with the back plate's lower edge. A wireway is provided inside the cover adjacent its top panel, and cabling storing or wrapping clips are provided on both the back plates and inside the cover.

Abstract: A glove box assembly is designed to allow the glove box to be moved from a fully closed position to a partially open position and from the partially open position to either a fully open position or the fully closed position. The glove box assembly includes a pair of guide pin elements each positioned on one of the sides of the glove box for engaging guide track elements. The guide track elements are specifically configured to guide the guide pin elements during the opening movement of the glove box.

Abstract: A baby supplies case and bag/bassinet combination with an openable front flap. Unzipping the flap reveals a shelved case holding diapers and baby supplies. Attached to the lowest shelf by a hinge is a hollow wedge shaped baby wipes container of sufficient length to extend to a cutout in the above shelf where the wide end of the wedge-shaped container rests. The wide end has raised ridges at either end thereof which retain a protective lid in position. In the middle of the wide end is an oval opening which provides access to baby wipes. When this wedge shaped container is rotated downward and the protective lid is slid open, a baby wipe can be retrieved. Due to the wedge shape of the container, it will not impede the removal of objects from the shelf behind. Resting on the middle shelf of the case is a holder for a container of baby powder. When this holder is rotated downwardly, it hangs from supports attached to the shelf on which it was resting.

Abstract: A slant top video gaming cabinet including a top cap assembly having a display panel on a surface facing pedestrian traffic which includes means for efficient changeover. The cabinet is formed from sheet metal and allows economy in fabrication. In addition, the geometry of the cabinet promotes access only within sequestered areas by authorized personnel so that various components of the cabinet can be addressed only by appropriate personnel.

Abstract: A display case having a tubular framework with a display window pivotally mounted thereto has a lifting and supporting mechanism for the display window including a strut member having a rod end and a cylinder end. A hinge is pivotally mounted to the cylinder and is adapted to be secured to the display window. A strut body slidably receives a strut member and hinge thereon. A retention arrangement pivotally connects the rod end of the strut and the hinge to the strut body so as to define a strut module which is slidable into and out of the tubular framework of the display case.

Abstract: An enclosure for a terminal block that provides a telecommunications transmission connection. The enclosure includes a housing that defines an interior region adapted to support a terminal block. The housing has an open front face and includes a rear wall, and a number of side walls that border the interior region. A cover is attached to one side wall of the housing for covering the interior region. The cover is moveable to a partially open, a widely open, or a fully open position to allow access to the interior region of the housing. One side wall of the housing includes a socket member that defines a groove. A hinge structure is rotatably moveable within the socket member for attaching the cover to a side wall of the housing. Biasing means are seated within the groove and interposed between the hinge structure and socket member.

Abstract: A panel opening and closing apparatus comprises a panel part having a rotating axis protruding from a lower part of both sides of the panel part to be opened and closed by rotating the panel part and connected by the rotating axis at a lower part of both sides of a main body. An elastic pressing part is installed in an inner side of the main body to press against the panel part toward an outside of the main body by a force of restoration. A locking part is installed in the inside of the main body and prevents the panel part from being rotated and opened by using the elastic pressing part because of grasping the panel part.

Abstract: A self braking door slide mechanism particularly adapted for use with cabinets that have front doors that open upwardly and are retracted using the slide mechanism to a position in which the door is aligned with the top of the cabinet in either an over or under top position. A dampening cylinder extends between the top of the cabinet and the door to slow its downwardly hinging action when the door is being closed. Auxiliary brake pads are also provided on a stationary slide member which bear against the moving portion of the slide mechanism to slow the sliding action during closing due to the force of the dampening cylinder.

Abstract: A washer having a tub supported by a front frame, a pair of front supports and a rear frame. The tub defines a wash chamber with a front opening. The front frame has a pair of vertical members respectively disposed adjacent to the opposing side walls of the tub toward the front opening. The front supports each have a nose extending forward from a neck. The necks are respectively secured to lower ends of the vertical members. A door is pivotally secured to the noses of the front supports. A door hinge support is secured between the noses of the front supports so as to secure the front supports from lateral movement.

Abstract: A cabinet for displaying objects comprises a top part (1) resting on an under part and which consists of a top face, a rear side (3), left (4) and right (6) sides, a bottom face (10) and a front side (5) consisting of a glass sheet (25) pivotally fitted on the top face (9) to swing upwardly. The glass sheet (25) is surrounded by a frame (11) on all sides. In the region of the front side (5) a gas spring (13) is rotatably attached to the bottom face (10) in the region of each of the left (4) and right (6) sides and acts in the region of the middle of the frame (11). The pivoting movement of the front side (5) is effected by screw jacks (14) acting above each of the gas springs (13) and driven by electric motors. Synchronous operation of the two electric motors is ensured by an electronic control device.

Abstract: A device for separately storing items which are intended to be used together. The device has a pivotable front wall which exposes items stored therewithin when opened. As the pivotable front wall is opened, a linkage assembly between the pivotable frontwall and an elevating platform simultaneously raises an elevating platform and contents stored thereon, thereby allowing access to these items.

Abstract: An improved substrate processing system. The system may be used for double sided scrubbing of a semiconductor substrate. The wet stations of the system has covers which prevent accumulated liquid from dripping outside of the station and which minimize dripping on the substrates. Transport tunnels are provided between modules to prevent leakage between the modules. A substrate transport mechanism which is moveable along a rail is provided with the stabilizer to provide for stable substrate transfer. The processing system has two brush stations which are placed within a single enclosure. The sensors located throughout the system, which sense the presence of a wafer, are fixedly mounted in a frame so that they are self-aligned to one another. In the sender station, two sensors are used, with the system requiring both sensors to sense the presence of a wafer to increase the reliability. In the dry station, the heating lamp is shielded from the substrate to reduce particulate contamination.

Abstract: A cover mounting structure for a shelf assembly which allows easy mounting of a cover to a shelf and can reliably prevent falling of the cover even when the cover is unlocked. The shelf assembly includes a shelf having a pair of side plates and a plurality of electronic circuit packages mounted in the shelf. The cover mounting structure includes a cover having a front plate, a pair of side plates bent from the front plate at a substantially right angle thereto, and a top plate bent from the front plate at a predetermined angle thereto; and a pair of shafts fixed in the vicinity of the upper ends of the side plates of the cover so as to project inside of the cover. A pair of recesses for receiving the shafts are formed at the upper ends of the side plates of the shelf, and a pair of guiding slant surfaces for guiding reception of the shafts into the recesses are formed at the front edges of the upper ends of the side plates of the shelf.

Abstract: A refrigerator display case having a plurality of insulated glass window panels mounted in side-by-side relation for pivotal movement about an upper horizontal pivot axis. Each of the window panels has a substantially all glass front appearance, unencumbered by external hardware, trim or moldings. To achieve such appearance, the upper spacer element of the window panel is in the form of a pivot bar completely concealed by an outer glass pane of the panel, but which has an exposed underside mounting surface to which a hinge plate is connected. Each window panel has side sealing members secured to respective side spacers and with a blade portion extending outwardly from the peripheral edges of the glass panes of the window panel for side-by-side sealing engagement with the side sealing members of adjacent window panels when the window panels are in a closed position.

Abstract: A combination environmental protection table including a table plate having a hole formed centrally thereof and a recess formed on a bottom surface thereof, a bowl-shaped main body having an opening at a bottom thereof and a mouth formed in a side thereof, a post member formed by a truss and a door panel arranged in a cylindrical configuration having an interior trash-containing volume, a base having a top surface with a groove therein for receiving the post member therein, and a thimble member extending through the interior of the base, the post member, the main body and the table plate. The mouth of the main body has a lid extending thereover. The lid allows trash to enter the mouth. The main body is affixed into the recess of the table plate. The thimble member includes an upper thimble portion and a lower thimble portion. The upper thimble portion has an opening at a top thereof and a flange extending radially outwardly of the opening at the top.

Abstract: A tamper-resistant transformer cabinet is provided, comprising: a tank including a front plate, for housing said transformer, said front plate including upper, lower and side edges, a riser extending from said front plate, said riser including two sides and a front, a cabinet door including a rear top edge, two rear side edges, two lower side edges, and a lower front edge, said door including along each of said edges a pair of 90.degree. bends that form a channel, said channel forming a tamper-resistant interface between said door and said tank.

Abstract: An all plastic container has a plurality of drawers which are pivotally secured within a frame. The drawers have pivot studs which are introduced into ramped grooves in the sides of the frame and which are retained within recesses in the sides when the container is fully assembled. Advantageously, the recesses are located behind the front surface of the container by approximately 40% of the depth of the frame.

Abstract: A cabinet is provided with a curved, upwardly-swinging door and interior shelves. The curved shelf door is mounted on a pair of opposed pivot arms which rotate on a horizontal axis. Each pivot arm is provided with a disk portion having a central boss and an arm portion tangent to the disk portion. The central boss engages a fixed stud at the side of the cabinet and provides a center pivot for each of the arms. A gas spring for each arm is provided, which is pivotably connected at one end to the arm and at the other end to a side wall of the cabinet. The gas spring serves a dual purpose of counterbalancing the door as it moves between an open and a closed position and opening the door unassisted once the user initiates movement of the door, this opening feature being very beneficial to seated and physically disabled users.

Abstract: A vending machine with an improved sealing holding bin drawer for removing dispensed products. Products are dispensed from a housing chamber which is maintained at a temperature colder than the environment in which the vending machine operates into a holding bin. The holding bin has a first opening allowing the products from the housing chamber to enter. The holding bin has a second opening covered by a door allowing the user to remove dispensed products from the holding bin. A sealing hood selectively covers and seals the first opening between the holding bin and housing chamber. The door and the sealing hood are operably connected such that the sealing hood covers the first hole when the door is opened. The connection is accomplished utilizing a pin and cam slot arrangement. The holding bin can also have an attached storage bin and can be placed on rollers such that it slides out of the vending machine like a drawer.

Abstract: A tool chest includes a lidded base defining a storage compartment therein and a pegboard-type tool pallet adapted to carry tools on an obverse side thereof and shiftable between a first position overlying and covering the storage compartment with the obverse side up, and a second position upstanding from the rear end of the base with the obverse side forward and supported against the open lid for uncovering and providing access to the storage compartment. In one embodiment the pallet is pivotally connected to the base with a link arm and has handles for lifting the pallet between its first and second position. In a second embodiment the pallet is pivotally connected to the lid so that when the lid is opened it pulls the pallet up to its second position. The front end of the pallet has pins or rollers supported on guide rails for guiding movement between the first and second positions.

Abstract: A device for the temporary storage of clothing articles with a base unit consisting of a top having an opening in the center, a bottom and four sides of which the two opposite sides are solid and the sides adjacent to those have openings of varying sizes and a hinged storage bin which is positioned in one of the openings in one of the four sides of the base cabinet. A fitting is set into the opening of the top surface in which a tube fits. A frame with a plurality of hooks is attached to top end of the tube. A plurality of bars are arranged in the open side of the base unit at different elevations in relation to the bottom of the base unit allowing for the storage of foot wear articles.

Abstract: A cable or wire (information bus, power supply, etc.) retention method and apparatus for modular computer cabinets and the like in which the cabinet frame end walls have notch-like voids. The preferred embodiment for a cable retainer has a frame member with two cantilever portions, which frame member is spot-welded to several struts at other (non-cantilever) portions. The top and bottom struts protrude the frame member, and are longer than the distance between the cabinet end walls. The cable retainer is connected to the cabinet by inserting one pivoting strut tip into a receiving hole and causing the cantilever portion nearest the receiving hole to deform (causing deeper penetration of the inserted tip) so that a clearance is obtained between the other pivot end and its corresponding receiving hole, prior to releasing the cable retainer. Insertion is completed by pivoting the cable retainer to an upright position to latch the latching ends in cabinet end wall grooves.

Abstract: A dishwashing machine having a vertically movable door which when closed seals against the frame sides of a door opening leading to a treatment chamber (10) in which dishes are washed by spraying the dishes with washing liquid. The door opening includes a bottom, substantially vertical part (28) located on the front side of the chamber, and a top part (30) which extends obliquely upwards and in towards the machine interior. The door comprises a bottom and a top section (22, 20) and a center section (24), which are pivotally connected to one another. The sections are supported and guided by pivot arms (38) and link arms (42) in a manner such that when pulling up the door from its closed position, the top section will swing into the machine to a position adjacent the rear wall (14) of the chamber.

Abstract: A waterproof stereo cover assembly includes a stereo-mounting frame for mounting a stereo therein, a waterproof cover pivotally attached to the stereo-mounting frame, and sealing members mounted in the stereo-mounting frame for sealing the stereo-mounting frame. The stereo-mounting frame has a notch formed on and extending lengthwise along an upper frame thereof, defining two end walls. A polygonal socket is symmetrically formed in each of the two end walls of the notch. A slot having a width slightly less than that of the polygonal socket extends from each polygonal socket to a front side of the stereo-mounting frame. The waterproof cover has a flange extending on an upper edge thereof, being received in the notch.

Abstract: A structure for a vertical unitized compartmentalized sorting/holding container compatible with plastic bags for use where sundry recyclable materials are generated and discarded. There is provided a retaining apparatus in which the action of discarding, at the same time, sorts and holds various materials for recycling purposes in several sloping rhomboid compartments, one over the other, providing fifty per cent greater holding volume than level rectangular compartments of the same floor space. Further, dull hooks advantageously located hold plastic bags open for filling from the front instead of the top. Pull-down doors, render easy loading, and serve to isolate odors and obscure trash from view. Flat newspaper storage is provided in the bottom. The construction of the container provides for free-standing use in interior or exterior environments and flush in-wall installation.

Abstract: A module is provided for communicating utilities to a worksurface or the like from a remote source. The module includes a housing which is pivotally mounted within an aperture in the worksurface. The housing has a hollow interior for receiving one of a plurality of utility connector modules, such as an electrical or communication receptacle. The housing is pivotable between an open position wherein the receptacle is exposed and accessible, and a closed position wherein the receptacle is substantially hidden or retracted. In the preferred embodiment, the housing naturally moves to a closed position so that the receptacles are protected by an upper surface on the housing that is contoured to direct any spilled fluids away from the receptacle when the housing is in the closed position. Also in the preferred embodiment, the receptacles are oriented so that any spilled fluids flow away from the receptacles.

Abstract: A concealable trash receptacle structured to be concealed within a cabinet when not in use, and out in the open for the deposit of trash thereinto by movement of a trash holder and a front panel connected therewith. The concealable trash receptacle is composed of a base for connecting to building cabinetry, a hinge connected to the base, a frame connected with the hinge, a trash holder connected with the frame, and a front panel connected with the frame. Abstract: A cabinet is provided with a curved, upwardly-swinging door and interior shelves. The curved shelf door is mounted on a pair of opposed arms which rotate on a horizontal axis. Each arm is provided with two opposed, circularly arcuate slots and a central ellipsoidal slot, each slot engaging a fixed stud at the side of the cabinet. The ellipsoidal slot and its corresponding stud provide a center pivot for each of the arms. The arms are mounted inside the cabinet on opposed interior side walls. Lighting can be provided in a formed recess in the bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet can also be provided with plural internal shelves supported on planar brackets. The cabinet further can be provided with a pair of side-by-side doors and a center wall. Arms are mounted on each side of the center wall and adjacent the interior side walls of the cabinet, for separately mounting the doors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a deposit cabinet comprising a plurality of lockers, each comprising a closing door and an individual means for fastening the various doors in the closed position. According to the invention, each locking means comprises a locking mechanism, with a releasing-open member, and a centralized control system for the lockers, making it possible, on the one hand, to supply a ticket with a personal code and, on the other hand, to open a given locker by calling up in the abovementioned code on a keyboard 29.

Abstract: A shoe storage cabinet structure has horizontally pivoted front door panel members opening to display at least two compartments with platforms for storing side by side pairs of shoes of various styles and sizes. The shoe storage compartments are easy to assemble by means of two hinging plates which permit shelves to be retained without the necessity of screws between matrixed cavities of two spaced hinge plates. The hinges provide compact cabinet housing structure for neatly storing behind a pivotable front panel compartment many shoes in a small space so that the shoes are projected into view by pivoting the front panel for mass viewing and convenient selection.

Abstract: A tool chest includes a lidded base defining a storage compartment therein and a pegboard-type tool pallet adapted to carry tools on an obverse side thereof and shiftable between a first position overlying and covering the storage compartment with the obverse side up, and a second position upstanding from the rear end of the base with the obverse side forward and supported against the open lid for uncovering and providing access to the storage compartment. In one embodiment the pallet is pivotally connected to the base with a link arm and has handles for lifting the pallet between its first and second position. In a second embodiment the pallet is pivotally connected to the lid so that when the lid is opened it pulls the pallet up to its second position. The front end of the pallet has pins or rollers supported on guide rails for guiding movement between the first and second positions.
