Abstract: A cabinet rail assembly includes a pair of cabinet rails, each of which is provided with a projection on the bottom edge of a front end portion that extends a predetermined distance below the bottom edge of the front end portion which is adapted to space the bottom edge of the cabinet rail by a pre-determined distance above a bottom member of the drawer opening. The projection on the front end of a left-hand cabinet rail is formed from a corresponding notch on the front end of a right-hand cabinet rail and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 6478393
Abstract: A sliding device for a storage case is provided which is durable and provides a smooth sliding motion even in environments, such as those encountered in a refrigerator, wherein the storage case is subjected to humid, cold (below the freezing point) conditions. The sliding device comprises a fixed rail fixedly mounted to an inner side surface of the storage case and having a roller coupling portion in which a first set of rollers are rollably received; a movable rail fixedly mounted to an outer side surface of the storage container and having a roller coupling portion in which a set of second rollers are rollably received; and a middle rail which is slidably mounted between the fixed rail and the movable rail so as to provide a coupling relationship therebetween which guides the rolling motion of the first and second rollers. The fixed rail, the movable rail and the middle rail, as well as the rollers, are made of an injection molded plastic.

  • Patent number: 6428128
Abstract: A standardized furniture unit in which a drawer moves in a longitudinal direction and has a plurality of closed positions, having a first slide element attached to a stationary panel, the drawer having a shell, a second slide element attached thereto The first and second slide elements are coupled together and move relative to each other, one of which is provided with at least one set of a plurality of mounting holes aligned along the longitudinal direction. Each of the mounting holes in each set corresponding to a different drawer closed position, and one of the mounting holes in each set is aligned with a standardized slide element mounting point in either the stationary panel or the drawer shell.

  • Patent number: 6390574
Abstract: A fully extendible drawer unit utilizes two pairs of, in each case, three rails which can be pushed into one another. On the carcass rail is positioned a differential roller, which allows the intermediate rail to be moved along when the drawer starts to be pulled out at a lower speed than the drawer and the drawer rail. A coupling lever ensures that the intermediate rail is still pushed along even when the drawer rail has already left the differential roller and that this happens synchronously.

  • Patent number: 6378969
Abstract: A guide for drawers comprises two elongated metal parts, mutually slidable along each other. One of said two parts has a wall conveniently bent to define a raceway (15) with play for a wheel (13) rotatably fastened to the other part. In the raceway (15) a wall region (17) is deformed to define a passage (d) having a predetermined interference for the wheel. A method of manufacturing the guide comprises the steps of bending a wall of a first one of said two parts to define the raceway (15) with play for the wheel (13), inserting a gauged template (21) into a predetermined raceway region, deforming the raceway from the outside against the template to obtain the passage with a predetermined interference for the wheel in the predetermined region (17). Also described is a guide manufacturing machine.

  • Patent number: 6347849
Abstract: A pull-out slide for drawers, working leaves and other pull-out furniture parts has at least two guide rails which are displaceable in the longitudinal direction by bearing units. One guide rail is fastenable to a stationary part such as a furniture body, and another guide rail is fastenable to the pull-out furniture part. A bearing unit held between two guide rails may comprise several cylindrical roller bodies with axes of rotation perpendicular to the displacement direction. At least one roller body of a bearing unit, in the installed condition, is essentially horizontal between two guide rails, and two roller bodies are arranged so that the three axes of the three respective roller bodies form a triangle orthogonal to the displacement direction. One guide rail has a supporting web formed thereon.

  • Publication number: 20010054863
Abstract: In the present slide rail a space receives a roller. Upper and lower rollers have their respective axes for rotation having inclinations of &thgr; and −&thgr;°, respectively, relative to an axis perpendicular to a body of the external rail. Thus the slide rail can have a simple structure.
