Further, the firearm cabinet may include a plurality of holders within the enclosure and configured to slide into and out of the enclosure at an angle other than perpendicular relative to a face of the cabinet. In some aspects, the cabinet may be configured to secure a plurality of elongate objects, such as pool cues, fishing poles, firearms, and so on.

Abstract: Media storage devices for, and methods of storing data media in, a data storage system are provided. The data storage system may comprise a data exchange device configured to exchange data stored on data media and a media handling system configured to transfer the data media between the media storage device and the data exchange device. Briefly described, in one of many possible embodiments, the media storage device comprises a housing configured to receive the data media. The housing includes a first elongate alignment groove adapted to slidably engage with a corresponding first elongate reference rail located adjacent an opening in the data storage system such that the media storage device may be inserted and removed by slidably engaging the first elongate reference rail and the first elongate alignment groove.

Abstract: A packaging configuration is provided for a computer system that is adapted for operating multiple operating systems in different partitions of the computer system. The packaging configuration includes a main chassis having a main circuit board. The packaging configuration also includes a processor assembly configured for insertion into the main chassis. The processor assembly has a circuit board for connection to the main circuit board upon insertion of the processor assembly. The packaging configuration also includes a processor subassembly configured for insertion into the processor assembly. The processor subassembly includes a circuit board and a processor and is configured for connection with a circuit board in the processor assembly upon insertion of the processor subassembly. The processor assembly is removable from the main chassis without powering down the computer system, and the processor subassembly is removable from the processor assembly without powering down the computer system.

Abstract: A sliding guide rail assembly (20, 20a, 20b) is provided for slidably mounting a drawer or equipment (10) within a cabinet or chassis. The rail (33a) is formed from a sheet metal into a T-shaped section onto which a sliding means (40, 40a, 40b, 40c) fits and slides smoothly thereon. Guides (50, 120, 150, 160) also formed from a sheet metal into C-sections fitting over the sliding means (40, 40a, 40b, 40c) and operable to slide smoothly therewith. This enables the drawer/equipment mounted on the slide (20, 20a, 20b) to be drawn in and out with little effort or wear and tear.

Abstract: A drawer slide support and closure apparatus designed to support a drawer within its supporting frame includes one or more drawer support members connecting the frame front and back each of which has an upstanding member with a ridge formed therewith forming a guide rail. A ridge surrounding slidable member encompasses the guide rail and is movable with respect to it. The ridge surrounding member is affixed to the bottom of the drawer and enables slidable movement between the guide rail supported by the frame and the ridge surrounding member affixed to the drawer. Rollers provide additional support for the drawer in the open position, and a spring enables positive opening and closing of the drawer. A shock absorber minimizes sound and impact when the drawer is firmly closed.
